HAMILTON, N.J. — Newmark has arranged a 150,000-square-foot industrial lease in the Central New Jersey community of Hamilton. According to LoopNet Inc., the newly constructed building at 40 Enterprise Ave. features a clear height of 40 feet, two drive-in bays, 46 exterior dock doors and 141 car parking spaces. Kyle Eaton, Robert Loderstedt, Michael Schipper and Haylee McCabe of Newmark represented the tenant, CEVA Logistics, in the lease negotiations. The name and representative of the landlord were not disclosed.

LINDEN, N.J. — Cushman & Wakefield has arranged $300 million in permanent financing for Buildings 300, 400 and 700 within Linden Logistics Center in Northern New Jersey. Linden Logistics Center is a newly completed development that was 94 percent leased at the time of the loan closing to tenants such as Samsung Electronics America, Vanguard Logistics, Fabuwood Cabinetry and OCM Globe. Buildings at the property feature a mix of front-load and cross-dock configurations as well as clear heights of 40 feet. John Alascio, Alex Hernandez, Chuck Kohaut, T.J. Sullivan and Mitch Rothstein of Cushman & Wakefield arranged the fixed-rate debt on behalf of the borrower, a partnership between Advance Realty Investors and Greek Real Estate Partners. The direct lender was not disclosed.
MANAHAWKIN, N.J. — New Jersey-based developer Walters has completed the lease-up of Cornerstone at Grassy Hollow II, a 34-unit affordable housing complex located in the coastal city of Manahawkin. Leasing began last fall. The four-building property, which is now fully occupied, offers one-, two- and three-bedroom units that are reserved for renters earning 60 percent or less of the area median income. Physical amenities include a fitness center, children’s play area, basketball court and a clubhouse with a computer workstation. Residents also have access to afterschool programs, special interest clubs and a food pantry program, as well as career readiness, eviction prevention and other social services.
ROSELLE PARK, N.J. — Greystone has provided an $80 million bridge loan for the refinancing of Meridia Roselle Park 10, a 325-unit apartment community located in the Northern New Jersey borough of Roselle Park. According to Apartments.com, the property offers one- and two-bedroom units that range in size from 582 to 952 square feet. Drew Fletcher and Miryam Reinitz-Kops of Greystone originated the loan, which was structured with a two-year term and a floating interest rate, on behalf of the borrower, Capodagli Property Co.
NEW JERSEY — Cushman & Wakefield has brokered the $5.7 million sale of six vacant bank branches in Northern New Jersey. The properties — located in Hillsborough, Franklin, Morganville, Elmwood Park, Montclair and Bayonne — offer a range of features and opportunities for repurposing or redevelopment. Andrew Schwartz, Jordan Sobel, André Balthazard and Dan Bottiglieri of Cushman & Wakefield represented the various regional and national banks that owned the properties in the transactions. The names of the various private buyers that acquired the assets were also not disclosed.
ROSELLE PARK, N.J. — Locally based brokerage firm The Kislak Co. Inc. has arranged the $4.1 million sale of a 24-unit apartment complex located in the Northern New Jersey community of Roselle Park. The three-story building at 336 E. Westfield Ave. houses six studios, 17 one-bedroom units and a rental house with onsite parking for tenants. About half (13) of the units were recently renovated with new kitchens and bathrooms, and the property also recently received a new roof and common area upgrades. Andrew Scheinerman and Jeff Squires of Kislak brokered the deal. Both parties were limited liability companies that requested anonymity.
CARTERET, N.J. — Newmark has negotiated a 65,817-square-foot industrial lease in the Northern New Jersey community of Carteret. According to LoopNet Inc., the building at 100 Middlesex Ave. was constructed on a 16.9-acre site in 1989 and totals 416,000 square feet. Kyle Eaton, Robert Loderstedt, Michael Schipper and Haylee McCabe of Newmark represented the tenant, automotive parts reseller and e-commerce platform Bay Speed, in the lease negotiations. The name and representative of the landlord were not disclosed.
SOMERSET, N.J. — CBRE has negotiated the sale of Cottontail Logistics Center, a 236,000-square-foot industrial property located in the Northern New Jersey community of Somerset. The two-building property was completed in 2024 and features a clear height of 36 feet, 65 loading docks and 98 car parking spaces. Brian Fiumara and Elli Klapper of CBRE brokered the transaction. Cottontail Logistics Center was fully leased at the time of sale.
JERSEY CITY, N.J. — Kessler Rehabilitation Center will open a 125,000-square-foot office and clinic at the Harborside mixed-use campus in Jersey City. The space spans the top two floors of Building 6 and can support creative office, production studio, medical and retail uses. Jamie Drummond, Dan Reider and John Crawford of Newmark represented the landlord, American Equity Partners, in the lease negotiations. A tentative opening date was not announced.
ENGLEWOOD CLIFFS, N.J. — New Jersey-based owner-operator Garden Communities is underway on construction of Phase I of The Sylvan, a 112-unit multifamily project that will be located across the Hudson River from New York City in Englewood Cliffs. Phase I will exclusively offer three-bedroom units. Preleasing is set to begin this fall. Additional details on the project were not disclosed.
