COPIAGUE, N.Y. — AMVETS National Service Foundation, a veteran service organization, has signed a lease for a 19,300-square-foot store in Copiague. Sabre Real Estate Group's Beth Lamport and Breslin Realty Development Corp.'s Russ Lico represented AMVETs in the deal. Schuckman Realty represented the landlord, Royal Sunrise Realty. AMVETs plans to open a thrift store.

PORTLAND, MAINE — Dollar Tree has opened an 11,002-square-foot store at Pine Tree Shopping Center, located at the southeast corner of Interstate 95 and Brighton Avenue in Portland, Maine. John Wise of Real State Advisors represented Dollar Tree. Brixmor is the owner of Pine Tree Shopping Center and was represented by Charles Davis with Brixmor.
NEWPORT, DEL. —TotalTrax Inc., a newly formed technology logistics company, has leased 15,000 square feet of warehouse space at Newport Industrial Park, located at 500 Water St. in Newport. Landlord Harvey, Hanna & Associates is renovating the building and a warehouse expansion to 31,200 square feet on the site is planned for 2012.
NEW YORK — Beech Street Capital has provided $24 million in Fannie Mae loans to refinance a 68-unit apartment building in the West Village of New York City. Cary Pollack of Meridian Capital Group LLC originated the transaction, which was financed by Beech Street Capital. The 10-year loan has a 30-year amortization schedule.
MANHATTAN — American Realty Capital Recovery REIT Inc. has acquired a fee-simple interest in a portfolio of four retail condominiums, located at 416-424 Washington St. in Manhattan for about $9.8 million. The portfolio contains 24,000 square feet, including a 15,000 square feet in a parking garage. The portfolio is fully leased.
BOSTON — NAI Hunneman has brokered a 17,901-square-foot industrial lease at 45 Sixth Rd. in Woburn, Mass. David Gilkie of NAI Hunneman's Boston office represented the landlord, Woburn Group LLC. James Stubblebine of The Stubblebine Co. represented the tenant, Barbour Stockwell Inc.
WASHINGTON, D.C. — Marcus & Millichap Real Estate Investment Services has arranged the sale of La Reine Apartments, a 95-unit apartment building, located at 5425 Connecticut Ave. NW in Washington, D.C. The building sold for approximately $17 million. Ari Firoozabadi of Marcus & Millichap's Washington, D.C. office represented the seller, B Kline Family LLC, and the buyer, Kossow Management Corp.
FLORHAM PARK, N.J. —Bergman Real Estate Group has arranged two lease expansion deals at Florham Park Corporate Center in Florham Park, N.J. Managed Health Care Associates Inc. signed a lease for 39,060 square feet, which includes an additional 17,550 square feet of space. Eric Ladden of Cornerstone Real Estate Group represented Managed Health Care in the transaction. Veritext Corp. signed a 33,000 square foot lease, expanding by 16,560 square feet. Greg Barkan and Remy deVarenne, Jr. of CB Richard Ellis represented Veritext in the transaction.
NEW YORK — Macy's Inc. plans to open two new stores in New York during the next two years. The first is a 160,000-square-foot Macy's in the Mall at Bay Plaza in the Bronx that will open in fall 2013 or spring 2014. The new store will be built as part of Prestige Properties' expansion of Bay Plaza Shopping Center. The second is a 200,000-square-foot Macy's that will replace an existing Macy's store in Westfield South Shore in Bay Shore, N.Y. Construction will begin in mid-2012 and the store is expected to open in 2013.
PERTH AMBOY, N.J. — Bunzl Northwest, a national distributor of outsourced food, cleaning and safety products, has signed a seven-year, 132,410-square foot lease at Perth Amboy Business Park in Perth Amboy, N.J. The industrial complex is owned by Matrix Development Group and Morgan Stanley. Bunzl Northwest was represented by Cassidy Turley's Jonathan Tesser and Mark Sonnenberg.
