WEST BERLIN, N.J. — Colliers International has arranged the sale of a 48,000-square-foot industrial flex property at 436 Commerce Lane in West Berlin, located outside of Philadelphia. The sales price was $2.7 million. The property is located off Route 73 and features 18-foot ceiling heights. The buyer was Velocity Venture Partners, and the seller was undisclosed. Marc Isdaner and Ian Richman of Colliers brokered the transaction.

BURLINGTON, MASS. — Azzur Group, a firm that helps life sciences companies start and scale, has signed a 50,300-square-foot office lease in Burlington, located north of Boston. Azzur Group plans to take occupancy of its space at 60 Blanchard Road by summer 2021. Newmark Knight Frank represented the building owner, a partnership between locally based development and investment firm Nordblom Co. and Alcion Ventures, in the lease negotiations. The Stevens Group represented the tenant.

YORK, PA. — ROCK Commercial Real Estate has negotiated a 14,479-square-foot office lease at Susquehanna Commerce Center, a 260,000-square-foot office complex in York. The property houses tenants such as Morgan Stanley Wealth Management and Wells Fargo Financial Advisors and offers an onsite parking garage and a café. David Bode of ROCK Commercial represented the landlord in the transaction. The tenant was Dentsply International Inc., a provider of dental equipment.

CAMBRIDGE, MASS. — Nauset Construction has completed the redevelopment of the historic Whitney, Lucretia and Henry Building in Cambridge into a 67-room boutique luxury hotel. The property was built in 1870 and is located in the Central Square area. The developer was a partnership between Sean Casey LLC and Hay Creek Hotels. Gensler designed the project, which houses multiple food and beverage concepts and a rooftop terrace.

WALTHAM, MASS. — Marcus & Millichap has arranged the $5.1 million sale of two apartment buildings totaling 21 units in the western Boston suburb of Waltham. The first property is located at 30A Amory Road, totals 11 units and sold for $2.3 million. The second building is located at 266-274 River St., features 10 units and fetched a sales price of $2.8 million. Evan Griffith, Tony Pepdjonovic and Jeremy Buckley of Marcus & Millichap represented the sellers and procured the buyers in both transactions.

NEW YORK CITY — Full-service real estate firm Adams & Co. has negotiated a 26,170-square-foot office lease at 390 Fifth Avenue in Manhattan. The tenant, home textile supplier Keeco, will relocate from its existing space at 295 Park Avenue during the first quarter of 2021. Jeff Buslik and Jay Dispralto of Adams & Co. represented the landlord, Hilson Management Corp., in the lease negotiations. Evan Margolin and Scott Ansel of Savills represented the tenant. The asking rent is approximately $50 per square foot.

SPRINGFIELD, N.J. — Radiopharmaceutical firm Evergreen Theragnostics will open a new, 14,000-square-foot manufacturing facility in Springfield, about 20 miles west of New York City. The new facility will feature four fully equipped production suites, three additional customizable suites, research space and multiple sterility lines, as well as quality control, material storage and packaging space. Construction of the facility is underway, and completion is scheduled for 2021.

NEW YORK CITY — New York-based HVAC design and engineering firm Gil-Bar Industries has acquired GBS Ltd., an air conditioning contractor based in Berkeley Heights, New Jersey. As part of the deal, Metro Air Products NJ, a Gil-Bar Industries affiliate, will join the GBS Ltd. team and Gil-Bar’s New Jersey operations as a single entity that will be known as Gil-Bar Sales NJ. Former GBS principal Greg Peifer will join Gil-Bar as sales manager of a new Gil-Bar office in Philadelphia.

SECAUCUS, N.J. — Hartford Investment Management Co. has provided a $25 million loan for the refinancing of a 706,487-square-foot distribution center located at 500 Meadowland Parkway in the New York City metro of Secaucus. Built in 1977 and renovated multiple times over the years, the property is situated within the 750-acre Harmon Cove development, about three miles from Manhattan and proximate to Newark Liberty International Airport. Building features include 24- to 26-foot clear heights, 200 loading docks and ample car and trucking parking spaces. Thomas Didio led a JLL team that placed the fixed-rated debt with Hartford on behalf of the borrower, 500 Meadowland Parkway LLC.

BOSTON — McCord Development, the firm behind the 4,200-acre Generation Park master-planned community in Houston, has opened a Boston office and acquired a 64,736-square-foot life sciences building. The property is located west of the city at 30 Bearfoot Road in Northborough and was formerly occupied by British pharmaceutical giant GlaxoSmithKline. The seller was Alexandria Real Estate Equities.
