NEW YORK CITY — Technology firm Kenshoo Inc. has signed a 6-year lease for 10,210 square feet of office space at 80 Broad St. in New York City. Hal Stein, Adam Leshowitz and Todd Stracci of Newmark Grubb Knight Frank represented the landlord, an affiliate of Savanna, in the transaction. Ruth Colp-Haber of Wharton Property Advisors represented the tenant.

SCOTTSDALE, ARIZ. — Sorenson Communications has leased 19,959 square feet at Riverwalk Arizona, a 187-acre mixed-use business park in Scottsdale. Sorenson was represented by Keith Lammersen, Jim Sadler and Jason Moore of Jones Lang LaSalle. The landlord, The Alter Group, was represented in-house by Kurt W. MOBILE, ALA. — Burton Property Group has purchased the 70,819-square-foot BB&T Centre, a four-story office building located at 41 West Interstate 65 Service Road in Mobile. The building is anchored by BB&T and serves as the offices for the Mitchell Co., Wilkins Miller Hieronymus, Wells Fargo and Sen. Jeff Sessions. Josh Burmeister of SRS Real Estate Partners’ Mobile office represented Burton Property Group in the sale.
NORTHBROOK, ILL. — Tokyo-based Astellas Pharma US has opened its $150 million corporate campus in Northbrook, a site that serves as the company's North American headquarters. The 446,000-square-foot facility includes a covered parking structured, fitness center and high-tech conference center. GlenStar Properties served as the developer for the project and MB Real Estate was the project manager. The project team also included Goettsch Partners, SmithGroupJJR, WMA Consulting Engineers and Power Construction Co. Astellas is Japan's second-largest drugmaker.
JERSEY CITY, N.J. — The Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi has signed a 17-year, 100,274-square-foot lease expansion at Harborside Financial Center in Jersey City, bringing the bank's total leased space to 261,957 square feet. The lease is pertains to space at the 725,600-square-foot Harborside Plaza 3. Fred Smith and Curtis Foster of Cushman & Wakefield represented the tenant in the transaction. The landlord is Mack-Cali Realty Corp.
PITTSBURG — Binswanger has arranged the sale of a 175,000-square-foot office building, located at 4845 U.S. Highway 271 in Pittsburg. The facility is the former Pilgrim's Pride corporate headquarters. The buyer, Region 8 Education Service Center, plans to use the property as an in-house training facility for 47 school districts in east Texas. The property features six meeting rooms wired for video conferencing, a meeting room that can sit 265 people, four elevators, motion detecting lighting, nine break rooms, 18 restrooms and 1,000 parking spaces. Holmes Davis of Binswanger's Dallas office represented the seller, Pilgrim's Pride Corp., in the transaction.
THOUSAND OAKS, CALIF. – A 12,800-square-foot office building in Thousand Oaks has sold to a financial services owner/user for $1.95 million. The property was built in 1964 and is located at 199 E. Thousand Oaks Blvd. Chris Itule, Jeff Albee and Jeff Gould of Colliers International represented both the buyer and the seller, a private family trust, in this transaction.
PONTE VERDE, FLA. — NorthMarq Capital has arranged $5 million in first mortgage refinancing for the 47,845-square-foot Village Professional Center, an office park located at 13000 Sawgrass Village Circle in Ponte Verde. Joel Coykendall of NorthMarq Capital’s Jacksonville, Fla., office arranged the 10-year loan with a 25-year amortization schedule through a correspondent life insurance company.
HOUSTON — Myers Crow & Saviers plans to build the 135,000-square-foot Mason Creek Office Center, a speculative office property that will be located on a 10.8-acre site in Mason Creek Corporate Park in Houston's Energy Corridor. Moody Rambin has been retained to lease and manage the property. Parkside Capital owns Mason Creek Corporate Park, a master-planned business park. The project is slated to break ground in the third quarter and is scheduled for an April 2013 completion.
CHANDLER, ARIZ. – Infusionsoft has leased a 92,109-square-foot office building that is currently being built in Chandler. The property, located at 1260 S. Spectrum Blvd., broke ground in January 2012. It is expected to be completed and occupied later this year. Infusionsoft was represented by Eric Jones of Commercial Properties. The building owner and developer, Douglas Allred Company, was represented by Mark Krison and Scott German of CBRE’s Phoenix office.
