LAKE SUCCESS, N.Y. — Hain Celestial, a natural and organic food group, plans to expand its corporate headquarters in New York. The company leased 86,000 square feet in Lake Success and plans to invest $10 million in relocating and expanding its main office. Hain's move from Melville, N.Y. is supported by an incentive package from Empire State Development that provides $4.5 million in tax credits. The company will relocate its existing 250 Long Island-based employees and create more than 100 new jobs during the next 10 years.

LAS VEGAS — The 114,500-square-foot Konami Gaming Building in Las Vegas has sold to Konami Digital Entertainment for an undisclosed amount. The built-to-suit facility is located within the Hughes Airport Center. The seller was CIP.
PLAYA VISTA, CALIF. — California Pizza Kitchen (CPK) has leased 33,000 square feet for its corporate headquarters at 12181 Bluff Creek Drive in Playa Vista, a Los Angeles submarket. The headquarters will reside within a 240,000-square-foot, Class A office building that was developed by Lincoln Property Company. The building is now owned by JP Morgan. This space is a portion of the square feet leased by Fox Interactive Media in 2008. CPK has signed an approximate nine-year sublease at the building. SAN ANTONIO — Live Oak-Gottesman has acquired the 138,265-square-foot Centre Plaza, an office building located at 45 NE Loop 410 in San Antonio's North Central submarket. Live Oak has plans to make capital improvements to the office property, including new restrooms, a new and expanded conference room and a complete lighting retrofit. The property is 62 percent leased and Carolyn Hinchey-Shaw and Seth Prescott of Stream Realty will continue to lease the project.
SANTA MONICA, CALIF. — Interactive Data Corporation has renewed its 22,877 square feet of office space in Santa Monica that serves as the company’s regional office. The space is located at 2901 28th Street. Interactive Data Corporation was represented by Craig Kish and Gil Ohls of Jones Lang LaSalle. The landlord, Equity Office Properties was represented in-house by Gail Goldstein and by CBRE’s Deron White.
BEDFORD — Silver Oak Commercial Realty brokered the sale of a 34,000-square-foot office building, located at 221 Bedford Road in Bedford. The buyer was 221 Bedford, LLC. Russ Webb of Silver Oak represented the seller in the transaction.
HOUSTON — NAI Houston has brokered the sale of a 15,000-square-foot office building, located at 5425 Renwick Drive in Houston. Chris Caudill and Joel Michael of NAI Houston represented the seller, RGM Asset Management, in the transaction. Tim Opatrany of TAO Interests represented the buyer, Biz and Co.
HOUSTON — A 7,000-square-foot office building, located at the northwest corner of Mount Vernon and Marshall avenues in Houston, has been sold. The office building will be used as a language center.
EL CAJON, CALIF. — A 245,000-square-foot business park in El Cajon has received $15.4 million in interim financing. The four-year loan features a 30-year amortization schedule and was written to a 65 percent loan-to-value. It was provided by Adam Petriella of the Real Estate Finance Group in cooperation with Anita Paryani of Marcus & Millichap.
WASHINGTON, D.C. — Boston-based EVL Associates has purchased a 91,312-square-foot office building, located at 1776 Massachusetts Ave. NW in Washington, D.C., for $45.5 million. The property is 96 percent leased to tenants that include Boston University, the Brookings Institution and Johns Hopkins University. Paul Hanafin and Richard Siegel of West, Lane & Schlager Realty Advisors represented the seller, 1776 Mass Ave LLC, managed by New York-based JOSS Realty Partners, in the transaction.
