NORWOOD, MASS. —Waltham, Mass.- based Hobbs Brook Management LLC recently broke ground on a 160,000-square-foot Class A office building in Norwood, Mass. The four-story building, located at 1175 Boston/Providence Hwy., will be shared by FM Global, an insurance company, and Dedham Medical Associates. The building was designed by Margulies Perruzzi Architects and includes a shared cafe and separate lobby entrances. Hobbs Brook Management is the owner and operator of the property. The project is slated for completion in 2013.

DALLAS — Seven tenants have executed leases for a total 33,185 square feet at the 510,528-square-foot Providence Towers, a Class A office tower located at 5001 Spring Valley Rd. in Dallas. The activity includes Confidence Music leasing 3,914 square feet; Risk Placement Services leasing 1,480 square feet; Custom Staffing leasing 3,934 square feet; The Hay Group leasing 8,285 square feet; Lucas Associates leasing 10,056 square feet; Mullin TBG Insurance Agency Services leasing 3,532 square feet and Paranet Solutions leasing 1,984 square feet. KBS partnered with Transwestern to complete these transactions.
NORCROSS, GA. — Virginia-based SugarOak has acquired the 55,000-square-foot Spalding Exchange Office Park, located off of Holcomb Bridge Road in Norcross, from LNR for an undisclosed price. Kevin Markwordt of Transwestern's Atlanta office represented the buyer in the transaction and Eva Horton of Grubb & Ellis' Atlanta office represented the seller.
EAST BRUNSWICK, N.J. — Newmark Knight Frank represented PNC Bank in a 131,363-square-foot lease extension at Tower Center II in East Brunswick, N.J. David Simpson of Newmark Knight Frank's New Jersey office represented the tenant in the transaction. The owner, a major pension fund, was represented by Joseph Sarno of CB Richard Ellis. The new lease includes the exchange of two floors and remodeling of the current layout.
GILBERT, ARIZ. — Acquinity Interactive plans to open a new call center at 1030 N. Colorado Street in Gilbert. The Internet marketing firm has leased 22,186 square feet at the single-story office building and has recently announced plans to hire up to 200 workers before year’s end. Jim Trobaugh, Chris Hook and Rob Marsh of CBRE’s Labor Analytics Group represented Acquinity in its four-year lease agreement. The landlord, DT Credit Company LLC, was represented by Mike McQuaid and Mike Garlick of Lee & Associates.
GROVEPORT, OHIO — Rancho Dominguez, Calif.-based Union Supply Co. has signed a long-term lease agreement for 315,534 square feet in building seven at Opus Business Center in Groveport, Ohio. Rick Trott, Mike Hurd and Kevin McGrath of Cassidy Turley represented the building owner, Opus Development Corp., in the transaction. San Diego-based McKinney Brokerage Group represented Union Supply Co.
TRUMBULL, CONN. – Cushman & Wakefield has completed the sale of Trefoil Park, a five-building, 230,677-square-foot office park in Trumbull, Conn. The park is 92 percent leased and tenants include Office Depot and Sun Products. Thomas Leary, David Bernhaut and Grace Braverman of Cushman & Wakefield represented the seller, Boston-based New Boston Fund Inc. They also represented the buyer, The Silverman Group.
SAN ANTONIO — San Antonio-based Ironsight Properties has purchased a 11,500-square-foot office building, located at 14414 Blanco Rd. in San Antonio, from San Antonio-based GSSW EC Ventures. Sandi Leone of 4M Realty's San Antonio office represented the buyer in the transaction, and Carrie Caesar of CBRE's San Antonio office represented the seller.
ATLANTA — The 375,085-square-foot One Georgia Center, located at 600 W. Peachtree St. in Atlanta, has been sold for $48.6 million. Stewart Calhoun, David Meline, Samir Idris and Casey Masters of Cushman & Wakefield's Atlanta office represented Cousins Properties, the seller, in the transaction. Newton, Mass.-based Government Properties Income Trust was the buyer.
HARLEYSVILLE, PA. — King of Prussia, Pa.-based Jack Horner Communications Inc., a public relations firm, has purchased the former Harleysville National Bank Building in Harleysville, Pa. The two-story, 11,381-square-foot building is located at 474 Main St. The Harleysville National Bank property was previously owned by First Niagara, which also financed the transaction. Jack Horner Communications plans to renovate and move into the space in January from its current headquarters. Terry Derstine of Harleysville-based Prudential Rittenhouse Realty Group represented both parties in the transaction.
