NEW YORK CITY — The grand opening has been held for the new Sheraton Tribeca, a 369-room hotel located at 370 Canal St. in the Tribeca neighborhood of Manhattan. Amenities at the hotel include a full-service restaurant and lounge, a fitness center, a Starbucks Café, a business center and more than 1,000 square feet of flexible meeting space. This latest opening marks the second Sheraton hotel to open in New York City; the Sheraton Brooklyn opened in April. The Sheraton brand is operated by Starwood Hotels & Resorts.

FORT ROYAL, VA. — Jericho, N.Y.-based Navika Capital Group has purchased Holiday Inn & Suites in Front Royal. Located at 111 Holiday Drive, the 2-year-old property features 124 rooms, an indoor pool, 5,000 square feet of meeting space and a Houlihan's Resaurant + Bar. Kyle Stevenson of Hunter Realty brokered the transaction. The seller and acquisition price were not disclosed.
BECKLEY, W.V. — Affiliates of H&W Hotels have completed the disposition of a Fairfield Inn hotel in Beckley. Greatway Hospitality acquired the property for an undisclosed price. The buyer plans to renovate the hotel and convert the property to the Fairfield Inn & Suites brand. David Mumford and Steve Kirby of The Mumford Company represented the seller in the transaction.
MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. — Deesha Hotels has acquired a Value Inn in Myrtle Beach for an undisclosed price. Located off Highway 501, the property offers 120 guestrooms and proximity to shopping, entertainment and restaurants. Jones Lang LaSalle Hotels was retained by a court-appointed receiver as the exclusive and sole agent in the disposition of the property. Ros Mallory and Mark von Dwingelo of JJL Hotels negotiated the transaction.
BONITA SPRINGS, FLA. — Homewood Suites by Hilton has opened a new property in Bonita Springs. Located at 8901 Highland Woods Blvd., the four-story property offers 106 suites, a heated pool, a fitness center, high-speed Internet access and a 24-hour business center. The property is owned by IAS Hotel and managed by Guest Services.
BOSTON — CB Richard Ellis (CBRE) Hotels has completed the sale of Radisson Hotel Boston, a 358-room hotel located at 200 Stuart St. in Boston. The hotel features 20,000 square feet of flexible meeting space, two purpose-built auditoriums, two restaurants and a parking garage. The CBRE Hotels team of Dave McElroy and Scott Hutchinson represented the seller, John Philopoulos Associates. The buyer was Northwood Investors. The acquisition price was not disclosed.
NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. — Chatham Lodging Trust has closed on the $21 million acquisition of the Residence Inn by Marriott in New Rochelle. The 10-story, 124-suite hotel is located at 35 LeCount Place. It features a fitness center, a swimming pool and structured parking. Island Hospitality Management, an affiliate of Lodging, will manage the hotel.
MINNEAPOLIS — Bethesda, Md.-based Pebblebrook Hotel Trust has acquired The Grand Hotel Minneapolis for $33 million in an all-cash transaction. Located in downtown Minneapolis, the 14-story hotel features 140 guestrooms, the 58,000-square-foot Life Time Athletic Club and Life Spa, more than 6,500 square feet of meeting space and Zahtar, a three-meal-a-day restaurant. The hotel will be managed by San Francisco-based Kimpton Hotels and Restaurants.
DALLAS — The Marriott brand has taken over management of the former 407-room Westin City Center in the Plaza of the Americas complex located at 650 N. Pearl St. in Dallas. The hotel will undergo a renovation during the next year with a remodeling of the guest rooms and a creation of a fitness facility that overlooks downtown. Oak Brook, Ill.-based Inland American Real Estate Trust owns the property and it's managed by Marriott International under a long-term agreement.
ATLANTA — Mumford Co. has brokered the sale of the former InHome Suites located at the interchange of Interstate 20 and Fulton Industrial Boulevard in Atlanta. The 105-suite property was vacant at the time of the sale. The buyer, Parthi Sai LLC, plans to extensively renovate the hotel and reopen it. Ed James of Mumford's Newport News, Va., office and Burton Brooks of the firm's Atlanta office represented the seller, Wells Fargo Bank, N.A.
