HANCOCK, MASS. — NorthMarq Capital has arranged $10 million in permanent financing for Jiminy Peak Mountain Resort in Hancock. Constructed in 1948, Jiminy Peak is a four-season resort that offers skiing and snowboarding in the summer and the Mountain Adventure Park in the summer. It also contains conference and wedding facilities. Debbie Orloff of NorthMarq's Boston office secured the financing on behalf of the undisclosed borrower through the lender, Berkshire Bank. Terms of the loan were also not released.

KISSIMMEE, FLA. — Supertel Hospitality has sold the 187-room Masters Inn East of Kissimmee to Royal Hotel Group Florida for an undisclosed amount. The property is located 2 miles from Walt Disney World. The buyer, a family investment group, plans to undertake exterior renovations to the property. Mumford Co. represented Supertel in the transaction.
DENTON, TEXAS — The new Homewood Suites by Hilton Denton has opened. The four-story, 107-suite hotel is located at 2907 Shoreline Dr. in Denton. It features studio, one-bedroom and two-bedroom suites. Amenities include a hospitality center, a business center, a 24-hour pantry, a swimming pool, a sports court, a grilling area and 1,500 square feet of meeting space. The owner of the Homewood Suites is CHGM Denton Hotel Partners and the manager is Chartwell Hospitality.
HOUSTON — Mac Haik Enterprises has opened the new Embassy Suites – Energy Corridor at 11730 Katy Freeway in Houston. The 14-story hotel contains 216 suites. Amenities include 7,000 square feet of meeting space, a full-service restaurant and lounge, an indoor pool with an outdoor tanning terrace and a fitness center. The hotel is situated within Mac Haik's Energy Plaza Office Park. The hotel is managed by Aimbridge Hospitality.
COUNCIL BLUFFS, IOWA — North Liberty, Iowa-based Kinseth Hospitality Cos. has developed Hilton Garden Inn Omaha East/Council Bluffs at Horseshoe Casino, a 153-room hotel located at 2702 MidAmerican Dr. in Council Bluffs. The hotel features 5,000 square feet of meeting space, a fitness center, an indoor swimming pool and whirlpool, a glass-enclosed pavilion lobby, in-room mini refrigerators, microwaves and coffee makers, and on-site laundry facilities.
GLENDALE, ARIZ. — Springfield, Mo.-based John Q. Hammons Hotels & Resorts Inc. has opened the four-star Marriott Renaissance Glendale Hotel & Spa, a 12-story hotel located within Westgate City Center at 9495 W. Coyotes Blvd. in Glendale. The 320-room hotel offers 33 suites, including three presidential suites and two concierge levels, an outdoor swimming pool, a state-of-the-art fitness center, an indoor lap pool, a conference center, a media center, the restaurant Soleil and Caffeina’s, a marketplace café. John Q. Hammons Hotel & Resorts Inc. will manage the hotel, conference center and media center.
IOWA CITY, IOWA — Davidson Hotel Co. has completed a multi-million dollar renovation of the Sheraton Iowa City, which is located at 210 S. Dubuque St. in Iowa City. The nine-story, 234-room hotel now features more than 12,000 square feet of meeting space, high-speed Internet access, an indoor heated pool, an indoor whirlpool, a 24-hour fitness center, a tanning salon and SHARE, Wine Lounge and Small Plate Bistro. Guestrooms feature 37-inch flat-screen televisions, new bedding and beds, and an oversized workspace. Davidson and RockBridge Capital are joint venture owners of the property, which is managed by Davidson.
WASHINGTON, D.C. — Washington-based Donohoe Construction Co. has completed two hotels in the Washington area. The firm finished construction on the 176-unit Residence Inn Arlington Courthouse, an extended-stay property in Arlington, Va. The 10-story hotel features meeting rooms, an indoor pool and 9,000 square feet of ground-level retail space. Donohoe also finished the 216-unit Hilton Garden Inn, located on Waverly Street in Bethesda, Md. The property, owned by Bethesda Hotel Associates, includes a fitness center, a restaurant and meeting facilities.
KENNESAW, GA. — Holder Construction has completed the 192-unit Embassy Suites Atlanta – Kennesaw Town Center at 620 Chastain Rd. in Kennesaw. The property is the brand’s first Design Option III prototype built in Georgia and features 7,000 square feet of meeting space, a Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse and a fitness center. Richard Rauh & Associates of Atlanta designed the hotel, and Atlanta-based GS Hospitality will manage the property.
MIAMI BEACH, FLA. — Leslie Beach Associates has sold the 48-room Leslie Hotel to a Miami hotel owner for $8.05 million. The buyer plans to renovate the property, which is located at 1244 Ocean Dr. in Miami Beach. Mark Wohl, Jason Goldfarb and Lawrence Usher of Marcus & Millichap’s Miami office brokered the sale.
