LONGVIEW, TEXAS — Marcus & Millichap has arranged the sale of Wingate by Wyndham Longview North, a 67-room hotel located about 120 miles east of Dallas. The hotel offers an indoor pool, fitness center, business center and meeting rooms. Allan Miller, Chris Gomes and Skyler Cooper of Marcus & Millichap represented the seller, a limited liability company, in the transaction. The trio, along with Marcus & Millichap’s Hussain Shaik, also procured the buyer. Both parties requested anonymity.

NEW YORK CITY — JLL has brokered the sale of a 75 percent interest in the Mandarin Oriental New York hotel. The monetary value of the stake was not disclosed, but multiple outlets that cover the hospitality industry reported that the percentage equated to roughly $98 million. The hotel, which opened in 2003 and totals 244 rooms, occupies floors 35 through 54 of Deutsche Bank Center at Columbus Circle. Amenities include a pool, spa, fitness center, meeting space and an onsite bar and lounge. Gilda Perez-Alvarado, Jeffrey Davis and Stephany Chen of JLL represented the undisclosed seller in the transaction. The buyer was Reliance Industries Ltd.

DETROIT — Developer Bedrock and hospitality company Method Co. are set to open the ROOST apartment hotel at Book Tower in Detroit on Thursday, June 1. The extended-stay hotel concept is now accepting reservations. The development team is also unveiling Anthology, a special events platform with several different event venues. Anthology is accepting inquiries for events beginning in September. Book Tower has undergone a seven-year restoration project totaling nearly $400 million. ROOST Detroit features 117 furnished studio, one- and two-bedroom apartment hotel units. Blending the comfort and practicality of apartment living with the amenities of a boutique hotel, all the units feature full-sized kitchens, stainless steel appliances, hardwood flooring and curated finishings. ROOST guests have access to a bike share program, fitness center and 3,000 square feet of coworking space. Anthology’s event spaces include: the Conservatory Ballroom, a 2,800-square-foot space capped by a glass skylight; the Linden Room, which holds 150 people and can be utilized for pre-function space or cocktail hours; and Graystone Lane, an alleyway with food and beverage spaces on the main level and rooftop. WACO, TEXAS — Marcus & Millichap has brokered the sale of a 122-room Holiday Inn & Suites hotel in Waco. The hotel was built on 2.8 acres in 2008 and offers a pool, fitness center and a business center.. Skyler Cooper of Marcus & Millichap represented the seller, undisclosed limited liability company, in the transaction. Cooper also procured the buyer, Dallas-based CenterPoint Hospitality. Chris Gomes and Allan Miller, also with Marcus & Millichap, assisted in closing the deal as supporting brokers.

HERSHEY, PA. — Pennsylvania-based owner-operator Shaner Hotels has acquired the Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton Hershey, and 86-room property located about 100 miles west of Philadelphia. All guestrooms and suites feature microwaves and refrigerators, and the hotel offers amenities such as an indoor pool, fitness center and complimentary breakfast. Shaner plans to invest $1.2 million to remodel guestrooms. The seller and sales price were not disclosed.

MIAMI BEACH, FLA. — Walker & Dunlop Inc. has arranged a $140 million loan for the refinancing of Soho Beach House, a private members club and hotel in Miami Beach. Located along Collins Avenue, the property includes a seven-story main building with 35 suites and amenities and a 16-story beachfront tower comprising 15 full-floor suites. JPMorgan Chase Bank NA and Citi Real Estate Funding Inc. provided the 10-year, fixed-rate, interest-only loan. The borrower, an affiliate of global private members social club Soho House & Co. (SHCO), is using the proceeds to repay existing debt, repatriate equity and cover financing and closing costs. Jonathan Schwartz, Aaron Appel, Adam Schwartz, Keith Kurland, Ari Hirt, Triston Stegall and David Kasten of Walker & Dunlop arranged the loan. NEW YORK CITY — New York City-based development and investment firm Lightstone Group has completed the 303-room Moxy Hotel at 145 Bowery St. on Manhattan’s Lower East Side. Moxy is part of the Marriott family of brands. Designed by Stonehill Taylor and AMA Group, the boutique establishment houses a Japanese restaurant, rooftop bar, piano lounge, subterranean nightclub and a lobby café and bar. Other amenities include coworking spaces and meeting and event rooms.

AVON, OHIO — Cronheim Hotel Capital has arranged a $12.5 million loan for the refinancing of the Residence Inn & Emerald Event Center in Avon, a western suburb of Cleveland. Developed in 2016, the hotel offers extended-stay rooms and a flexible space for corporate functions, weddings and other social events. The borrower was a subsidiary of Nimbus Investment Fund LP, an independent affiliate of Emerald Hospitality Associates Inc. A regional bank provided the fixed-rate loan, which features an interest rate below 6 percent.

MADISONVILLE, KY. — Mumford Co. has arranged the sale of Baymont Inn & Suites, a 52-room hotel in the southwest Kentucky town of Madisonville. An entity doing business as Skyann Corp. sold the asset to an entity doing business as Paras 1981 LLC for an undisclosed price. The buyer is an affiliate of a multi-property hotelier that is active in the region, according to Mumford. Carter Wilcox of Mumford’s Newport News, Va., office represented the seller in the transaction. The buyer plans to retain the property as a Baymont, a flag under Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, following upgrades to the hotel’s guestrooms and public areas. Amenities at the hotel include a fitness center, business center, complimentary breakfast and Wi-Fi, meeting room and an outdoor pool, according to the hotel’s website.

CHICAGO — A joint venture between Gencom and GD Holdings has acquired the 192-room St. Regis Chicago. The luxury hotel, which opened this week, is centrally located in the city’s Lakeshore East Loop community where the Chicago River meets Lake Michigan. While the sales price was undisclosed, JLL arranged $76 million in acquisition financing on behalf of the buyers through Värde Partners. The five-star hotel occupies the first 11 floors within a property that also houses 393 condominium units. Studio Gang Architects designed the 101-story tower, which is the third tallest in the city. Room rates start at $711 per night at the hotel, which is the first new luxury hotel to open in Chicago since 2013. Chicago-based Magellan Development Group oversaw development of the hotel, which is also part of Magellan’s 28-acre Lakeshore East master development. Magellan is retaining a partial ownership interest in the hotel. Located at 401 E. Wacker Drive, the St. Regis Chicago features nearly 12,000 square feet of meeting space, including the 5,000-square-foot Astor Ballroom.
