DENVER — Pauls has received a $73 million loan to refinance a 14-building industrial portfolio in Aurora. The portfolio totals 1.9 million square feet of Class A distribution warehouse space. Properties included in the portfolio feature clear heights between 22’ to 32’ and buildings sizes ranging from 72,000 square feet to 347,840 square feet. All buildings were constructed between 1996 and 2015. The buildings are leased to 40 tenants, including Whole Foods Market, VWR International, Simmons Company and MSI International. They are situated on a total of 111.7 acres in the East I-70/Montbello industrial submarket in northeast Denver. The two 10-year, fixed-rate, full-term, interest-only loans were placed with Nationwide Life Insurance Co. The funds were used to refinance an existing life company loan and a construction loan. HFF’s Kristian Lichtenfels and Eric Tupler arranged the loans.

LONG BEACH, CALIF. — CNR International has signed a five-year lease for 163,499 square feet of industrial space in the Long Beach submarket of Rancho Dominguez. The space is located at 2626 Vista Industria. The lease is valued at $6.8 million. Dylan Espley-Jones and Say Jeon of Lee & Associates represented the integrated logistics solutions provider. CBRE’s Brian Held and NGKF’s Jim Biondi and Terry Reitz represented the landlord, Prologis, in this transaction.

OKLAHOMA CITY — Binswanger has arranged the sale of an industrial building located at 6700 S. Sooner Road in Oklahoma City. Barr and Hoffman Properties acquired the 18,480-square-foot building from Barclay Properties for an undisclosed price. The building feature four 16-foot overhead doors, two 20-foot overhead doors, one 15-ton crane and 950 square feet of office space. Kipp Collins of Binswanger represented the seller in the deal.

WILMER, TEXAS — Colliers International has arranged the sale of an industrial property located at 930 E. Pleasant Run Road within Sunridge Business Park in Wilmer, a southern suburb of Dallas. Makita U.S.A. Inc. acquired the 227,230-square-foot property for an undisclosed price and plans to use it for a regional distribution center. Chris Teesdale, Tom Pearson and El Segundo of Colliers represented the seller, Scannell Properties, and the buyer in the deal.

WALTHAM, MASS. — Colliers International Boston has arranged the $9 million sale of a two-building office and flex portfolio on behalf of Schernecker Property Services. Boston-based btcRE acquired the portfolio, which includes a 40,000-square-foot office and warehouse building at 179 Bear Hill Road and an 18,000-square-foot flex building at 283 Second Ave. in Waltham. MSPCA, a local non-profit that protects animals, fully occupies the property on Second Avenue. Doug Jacoby, Scott Dragos, Tony Hayes, Tim Mulhall and Dan Hines of Colliers represented the seller in the transaction. Additionally, Tom Welsh, Adam Coppola and John Poole, also of Colliers, arranged $9 million in acquisition and bridge financing for a Massachusetts-based loan fund on behalf of the buyer.

MEQUON, WIS. — Altapure has signed a 3,300-square-foot industrial lease in Mequon, about 20 miles northwest of Milwaukee. Altapure will occupy Suite K in the 30,300-square-foot building located at 6040 W. Executive Drive. Based in South Bend, Ind., Altapure manufactures disinfection products. Steve Sewart of Colliers International represented the tenant in the transaction.

LAS VEGAS — Marnell Properties has announced plans to expand Marnell Airport Center at McCarran International Airport in Las Vegas. The expansion will include two buildings totaling more than 133,000 square feet of new light office and industrial space within the master-planned airport development and Foreign Trade Zone. The new buildings will be located off Spencer Street and Russell Road. The expansion is scheduled for completion in the third quarter of 2017. At that time, Marnell Airport Center will span across 14 acres, with two industrial buildings totaling 133,000 square feet, an 80,000-square-foot office building and an additional 6,300-square-foot building.

HOUSTON — NAI Partners has arranged the lease of a 10,800-square-foot distribution and wholesale facility located at 4555 Airline Drive in Houston. Quality Reel Solutions, a manufacturer and wholesale provider of nailed wood reels, plywood reels and custom manufactured industrial lumber, will occupy the facility. Jake Wilkinson of NAI Partners represented the tenant, while Darryl Noon of Transwestern represented the landlord, St. Paul Fire & Maine Insurance, in the deal.

GERMANTOWN, WIS. — Like Minds Brewing LLC has signed a 3,800-square-foot industrial lease in Germantown, about 23 miles northwest of Milwaukee. The 50,000-square-foot building is located on Maple Avenue. Jim Young of The Barry Co. represented the landlord, West Florist Avenue LLC. TJ Huenerbein of the Dickman Co. Inc. represented the tenant. Like Minds Brewing operates locations in Chicago and Milwaukee.

NORTH EAST, MD. — Amazon plans to open a new 1.2 million-square-foot fulfillment center in North East, a town in northeast Maryland near the Delaware border. The e-commerce giant currently employs more than 3,000 associates at its fulfillment and sortation centers in Baltimore and plans to create 700 new positions at its new facility, the company’s third fulfillment center in Maryland. Situated within Principo Commerce Center I, the Amazon facility is a joint venture development between Trammell Crow Co. and Diamond Realty Investments. The joint venture broke ground on the project last May and plans to open the Amazon facility in the second quarter of this year.
