PASADENA, TEXAS — NAI Houston has arranged a 30,000-square-foot warehouse lease for Seaway Crude Pipeline Co. in Pasadena, a southeastern suburb of Houston. The property is a freestanding facility located at 1605 Genoa Red Bluff Drive, in close proximity to the interchange of Beltway 8 and Interstate 45. John Ferruzzo and Chris Kugle of NAI Houston represented landlord Bart Industries LP in the negotiations.

MIAMI — Easton & Associates, the commercial real estate brokerage division of The Easton Group, has arranged a 61,700-square-foot lease for warehouse space at a distribution center in Miami. Rana Furniture leased space at the center, located at 7821 N.W. 67th St. Jim Armstrong and Mike Waite of Easton & Associates represented both the tenant and the landlord, SPG NW 77th Court LLC, in the lease deal.
SHEPHERDSVILLE, KY. — Dermody Properties has commenced construction on LogistiCenter at I-65, a 631,336-square-foot industrial development located in Shepherdsville, about 15 miles south of downtown Louisville. The property will be located at 972 Conestoga Parkway in the Settlers Point Business Park. The development will feature 36-foot clear ceiling heights, T-5 lighting and 2,000 linear feet of exposure on I-65.
ALLEN, TEXAS — Landlord Chambers Street Properties has signed two companies to new leases for the warehouse property at 505 Century Parkway in Allen, a northern suburb of Dallas. Texas Valve & Fitting Company LLC, a developer and provider of fluid system components, will occupy a 22,400-square-foot space in the facility. Standex International Corp., a manufacturer across multiple industries including food services and hydraulics, will occupy a 33,144-square-foot space. These leases bring the 505 Century property to 100 percent occupancy.
BROADVIEW AND MELROSE PARK, ILL. — NelsonHill has been named the exclusive agent for the disposition of a multi-tenant industrial portfolio including three buildings totaling more than 653,190 square feet. The properties are located in Broadview and Melrose Park, western suburbs of Chicago, and owned by Joe Reina. The first property is a 389,155-square-foot facility at 2600 S. 25th Ave. in Broadview and is occupied by 23 tenants. Built in 1966 for General Motors and renovated in 2000 and 2010, the building is 99 percent leased. At 1930 George St. in Melrose Park, the second building spans 179,300 square feet and is situated on almost six acres of land. Built in 1963 and renovated in 2010, the property has seven tenants and is 99 percent leased. The third in the portfolio is an 84,735-square-foot complex at 5109 W. Lake St. in Melrose Park. The warehouse and office building is occupied by six tenants and is 82 percent leased. Mark Nelson, Mike Nelson and Frank Melchert of NelsonHill are the listing brokers for the portfolio.
FLOWER MOUND, TEXAS — Lee & Associates has arranged a 70,100-square-foot industrial lease for T&L Holding Co. in Flower Mound, approximately 35 miles northeast of Fort Worth. The property is located at 500 Enterprise Drive. Reed Parker and Tom Walrich represented the tenant in the negotiations, while landlord Hillwood was internally represented by Bates Arnot.
TEMPE, ARIZ. — DCT Industrial Trusthas purchased Broadway Industrial Portfolio, a three-building, 308,038-square-foot portfolio in Tempe, for $22 million. The acquisition includes an 110,000-square-foot building at 1005 W. Alameda Drive; a 96,437-square-foot building at 2910 S. Hardy Drive; and a 101,601-square-foot building at 2925 S. Roosevelt Street.All three buildings are Class A, institutional-quality properties that offer manufacturing, distribution and office space. Notable tenants include United Stationers Supply Co., ACI Plastics, Misty Mate and Triumph Group. Pat Harlan,Steve Sayreand Kyle Westfallof Jones Lang LaSalle will handle the portfolio’s leasing efforts.
RENO, NEV. — Ardagh Group has purchased a 330,000-square-foot, Class A manufacturing facility in the Tahoe Reno Industrial Center for $11.5 million. The property is located at 900 Waltham Way in McCarran, which is just east of Reno. The acquisition also includes two 18-acre parcels on the east and west sides of the building that can be used for future expansion.The glass and metal packaging solutions company will invest $20 million to retrofit the new facility. It hopes to begin production in January 2014. Ardagh was represented by Dave Simonsen, J. Michael Hoeck and Michael Nevis of the NAI Industrial Properties Team. The seller was not named.
COLONIAL HEIGHTS, VA. — Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer has arranged a 184,616-square-foot industrial lease at the Enterchange at Walthall in Colonial Heights, about 23 miles south of Richmond. Evan Magrill and Dawn Calabrese of Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer represented the landlord in the transaction. Central Shared Services is the new tenant.
CHICAGO — First Property Holdings has purchased a 37,000-square-foot cooler/freezer building at 817 W. 21st St. in Chicago. The purchase price was undisclosed. Christ Panos Foods Corp., which provides products and services to area restaurants, occupies the building. Matt Rogatz of Chicago Industrial Real Estate represented First Property Holdings. Mike Senner and Vern Schultz of Colliers International represented the seller.
