The manufacturing/distribution facility is located at 11075 Harry Hines. El Fenix previously used the location to make chips for all its restaurants. The free-standing facility contains a few “creative” amenities that have become commonplace on tech campuses, including basketball and volleyball courts. Apple was represented by Andy Poppink and Craig Krammerer of Jones Lang LaSalle’s Silicon Valley office. The landlord, Westcore Properties, was represented by Dan Hollingsworth and Steve Pace of Cassidy Turley San Jose in this lease transaction.
JOLIET, ILL. — Lee & Associates of Illinois LLC has arranged a 150,560-square-foot industrial lease for Touchpoint Logistics at 4001 Rock Creek Road in Joliet, about 40 miles southwest of Chicago. Touchpoint Logistics is a third-party warehouse company that provides distribution, warehousing and order fulfillment outsourcing for companies. NAI Hiffman represented building ownership, TA Associates Realty, in the transaction.
HOWELL, MICH. — Key Plastics LLC has signed a lease for 76,763 square feet of industrial space at 1450 McPherson Parkway in Howell, located about 35 miles east of Lansing. Key Plastics, a supplier of a broad range of plastic components and functional assemblies to manufacturers of light vehicles and their Tier 1 suppliers in North America, Europe and Asia, will consolidate three operations at the property. Jim Montgomery and Steve Gordon of Signature Associates represented the tenant in the transaction. Montgomery also represented the landlord, Brio Development LLC.

Pyramid America is a manufacturing, distributing and publishing house.
FARMERS BRANCH, TEXAS — WRJ Distribution Way LLC has purchased 13911 Distribution Way, a 105,600-square-foot industrial building in Farmers Branch. Jean Russo of Cushman & Wakefield of Texas Inc. represented the seller, Shore Holdings Inc., in the transaction.

LASALLE, ILL. — A 347,700-square-foot distribution center located at 761-765 Progress Parkway in LaSalle, about 60 miles north of Bloomington, has sold for $9.7 million in a sale-leaseback transaction. The seller, a publicly traded company on the NASDAQ, signed a long-term lease with the buyer. Chad Firsel and Daniel Waszak of Quantum Real Estate Advisors Inc. represented the buyer and the seller in the transaction.
