LINCOLNSHIRE, ILL. — Meridian Design Build has completed a 100,280-square-foot building expansion to Kubota Engine America’s headquarters in Lincolnshire. The expansion includes 81,880 square feet of additional plant/warehouse space and 18,400 square feet of space designed to serve as future offices. Site improvements were also completed to create more employee parking to accommodate Kubota’s future growth. Kubota is a manufacturer of compact diesel and gasoline engines. Timothy Morgan Associates provided architectural services for the project, and Manhard Consulting completed the civil engineering work.

The lease renewals total 767,632 square feet of rail-served industrial space. Sam Brown with Sam H. Brown Interests represented the tenant in the lease transaction. DALLAS — CBRE has arranged the 178,200-square-foot lease of industrial space at 4445 Rock Quarry in Dallas. Travis Sapaugh, Seth Kelly, Ryan Keiser and Nathan Lawrence of CBRE Dallas, along with Mark Collins and Kathy Rinna of CBRE Detroit, represented the tenant, Cequent Performance Products Inc., in the lease transaction. John Leinbaugh of IDI Dallas represented the landlord, Teachers Insurance and Annuity Association of America. The lease transaction is a relocation and expansion for Cequent's existing distribution operation.

CertainTeed Corporation is a subsidiary of the French companyCompagnie de Saint-Gobain. North American Pipe Corporation is a subsidiary of Westlake Chemical Corporation. PFG produces PVC pipes and fittings for municipal, water well, mining, agriculture and irrigation applications at its plant. The sale also included the PVC pipe, fittings, technologies and intellectual properties, profiles and foundations business, as well as an additional plant in McPherson, Kan.
MEDLEY, FLA. — Terreno Realty Corp. has acquired a 49,000-square-foot industrial property at 12600 NW 107th Ave. in Medley, for $5.1 million. The property is fully leased to one tenant and includes dock-high truck loading on two sides and land for trailer storage or building expansion. The estimated stabilized capitalization rate of the property is 6.3 percent.
CHESAPEAKE, VA. — Transnational Foods has renewed its industrial lease for 141,050 square feet at the Diamond Hill Distribution Center in Chesapeake. The company, which has several distribution centers across the U.S., provides supermarkets, wholesalers, dollar stores and convenience stores a range of products through its own brands and private labels. Diamond Hill Distribution Center includes four buildings totaling more than 712,500 square feet, and is approximately 97 percent occupied. The property is located off Route 64 in the Bainbridge submarket.
