The properties contain a total of 850,000 square feet spread out among four tenants. The funding was arranged by Carl Fuller of the Alison Company through a correspondent life insurance company. The seven-month forward commitment is for a 10-year loan with a 25-year amortization period.
PARSIPPANY, N.J. — The Hampshire Cos. has acquired a 98,904-square-foot industrial/flex building at 2 Cranberry Road in Parsippany. The property operates as an industrial condominium, which consists of four separate units. Tenants include Availl, a subsidiary of Boeing, and Padded Waggon, a moving company. The property is located off Route 80 near the I-287 junction.

SALT LAKE CITY — The Sun Products Corporation has signed a lease for 1 million square feet of space at Freeport West Landmark Industrial Park in Salt Lake City. This is the largest lease signed so far in Utah in 2012. Sun Products will be consolidating six of its warehouses into two main distribution centers. Sun was represented by Zach Anderson, Bryce Blanchard, Kyle Roberts and Mike Falk of NAI West. Freeport West was represented in-house by Brad Ross.
CHINO, CALIF. – A 65,837-square-foot industrial property in Chino has sold to SBC Enterprise LLC for $5.2 million. It is located at 13900 Sycamore Way. SBC was represented by Richard Schwartz, Brad Yates and Stefan Pastor of Colliers International. The seller, Feldhron Trust, was represented by Mark Kegans of Grubb Newmark Knight Frank.

(EGS), a company specializing in tenant representation, leasing, management, sales and commercial real estate development, has completed four industrial lease transactions in the Birmingham area, including two at Cahaba Valley Business Park, one at the Distribution Center and one at Southside Business Center. Cintas/American First Aid, a supplier of first aid safety equipment and related services, renewed its 11,250-square-foot lease at 602-612 Cahaba Valley Pkwy. at Cahaba Valley Business Park. Graham & Co.’s Jack Brown represented the tenant. Astral Industries, a steel purchaser that produces finished powder coated products, signed a 3,750-square-foot lease at 227 Distribution Center Dr. at the Distribution Center in Birmingham. Graham & Co.’s Ogden Deaton represented the landlord and EGS’s Stuart Brock represented the tenant. Computer Resources Inc., which provides software, hardware, training, support and other services to the communications industry, renewed its 3,300-square-foot lease at 300-304 Cahaba Valley Pkwy. at Cahaba Valley Business Park. EGS’s Brad Moffatt and Brock represented the landlord. Finally, Goodwyn, Mills & Cawood Inc., an architectural firm, renewed its 3,300-square-foot lease at 2501-2523 Fifth Ave. at Birmingham’s Southside Business Center. SOUTH BRUNSWICK, N.J. — Niki International, a textile company, has sold the former American National Can building at 925 Georges Road in South Brunswick. The 141,000-square-foot manufacturing and warehouse facility is situated on 30 acres and previously housed the seller's textile business. The new owner plans to modernize the property and use it for industrial purposes. The building — originally built by the American National Can Co. — features 30- to 40-foot clear ceiling heights, heavy power and rail capabilities. Lou Belfer and Scott Belfer of CBRE Group represented the seller in the transaction. Joe Lubin of Jones Lang LaSalle represented the buyer.
TEWKSBURY, MASS. — Craft Floor has acquired a 32,160-square-foot warehouse and manufacturing facility at 19 Barker Road in Tewksbury for $1.6 million. The property, located at the intersection of I-495 and Route 38, is situated on three acres. David Gilkie of NAI Hunneman represented the seller, Flauto Realty Trust, in the transaction.
