CHICAGO — Engineered Recycling Co. (ERC) has signed a five-year lease for 54,000 square feet of industrial space at 4100 W. 76th St. in Chicago. The space is located within a 796,454-square-foot complex. ERC will take in recycled plastics and melt the plastic into useable pellets. The company currently has a plant in North Carolina. Matt Rogatz of Chicago Industrial Real Estate represented the tenant in the transaction.

WILMINGTON, MASS. — Campanelli has sold four properties totaling 198,000 square feet in Wilmington that are part of the GS Portfolio. Campanelli acquired the eight-building portfolio in 2010. Spaulding & Syle Investments acquired 255 and 261 Ballardvale in Wilmington for $5.8 million. The buildings total 85,067 square feet. Jones Lang LaSalle represented the seller in the transaction. In a separate deal, Cabot Properties purchased 10 Cornell Place and 265 Ballardvale in Wilmington for a combined $9 million. 10 Cornell Place is a 39,727-square-foot, single-tenant flex building that is net leased to FedEx until 2021. 265 Ballardvale is a 73,500-square-foot flex building that is fully leased to four tenants.

ROMULUS, MICH — CHAT Michigan Inc., a worldwide freight forwarder, has signed a lease for 89,765 square feet of industrial space at Northline Industrial Center in Romulus. The facility includes rail access and houses more than 1 million square feet of warehouse facilities on 164 acres. The center is located at 38481 Huron River Drive. Gary Glotzhober of Colliers International represented the owner, Northline, in the transaction. He also represented the tenant.

ROCK HILL, S.C. — Weston Inc. has sold a 318,000-square-foot industrial building, located at 2751-2805 Commerce Drive in Rock Hill, to Rock Hill Commerce LLC for $5.15 million. The property is 58 percent leased to two tenants. Lester Osborn and Scott Hensley of Piedmont Properties/CORFAC International represented the seller in the transaction. Herb Krumsick of J.P. Weigand & Sons and Michael DiScala of M.F. DiScala & Co. represented the buyer.

MONROE, OHIO — IDI, an Atlanta-based developer, has acquired the Corridor 75 Premier Logistics Park in Monroe during a sheriff's sale, for a reported $13.3 million. The property includes 300 acres of land and a vacant 651,592-square-foot industrial building. IDI plans to rename the property Park North at Monroe and develop an additional 4.1 million square feet of logistics buildings on the property. The buildings will range from 150,000 square feet to more than 1.2 million square feet. The business park is located near the intersection of State Route 63 and I-75.

BEDFORD, MASS. — Jones Lang LaSalle Construction has been awarded the contract to provide construction management and general contracting for Enegris Corp.'s i2M Center for Advanced Materials Science at 9 Crosby Drive in Bedford. Entegris, which makes products for the semiconductor and microelectronics industries, announced in April that it planned to customize the existing, 80,000-square-foot building at 9 Crosby Drive to include clean rooms, large manufacturing areas and waste-treatment systems. The company said the renovation would require a $50 million investment.
