MIAMI — The 302,825-square-foot Aventura Industrial Center, located at 555 NE 185th St. and 320 NE 187th St. in Miami, has sold for $18.7 million. The two-building property is fully leased. Christian Lee, Charles Foschini, José Antonio Lobón, David Albert, Devin White, Chris Riley and Brian Budnick of CBRE Group represented Principal Real Estate Investors, the seller, in the transaction.

NORTHLAKE AND BOLINGBROOK, ILL. — Both WEG Electric Motors Corp. and HD Supply have inked leases to expand industrial space in two Illinois properties owned by Duke Realty. WEG Electric has expanded its space by 84,000 square feet by relocating to Crossroads 1 in Bolingbrook. The company signed a lease for 163,470 square feet. HD Supply expanded into the 79,288 square feet vacated by WEG Electric at Northlake I, located at 635 Northwest Ave. in Northlake. Darren Ross of Colliers International and Brian Carroll of Newmark Grubb Knight Frank represented WEG in its transaction, while John Cash of NAI Hiffman represented HD Supply. Duke Realty was self-represented by Susan Bergdoll in both deals.

INDIANAPOLIS — Meritex has acquired the Jefferson Building, a 73,290-square-foot office and warehouse property in Indianapolis. The property is fully leased to four tenants. The acquisition also included a 4.5-acre parcel, capable of supporting an additional 60,000-square-foot industrial building. The acquisition expands Meritex's Indianapolis portfolio to more than 875,000 square feet.

YORK, PA. — First Industrial Reatly Trust plans to develop a $34 million distribution center on a recently acquired 55.5-acre site in York. The 708,000-square-foot center, called First Logistics Center @ I-83, will be located off Interstate 83 at Exit 24. The owners aim to attract companies that distribute to the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast markets. The building will feature 32-foot clear height ceilings, up to 130 dock doors, four drive-in doors and 233 parking spaces. First Industrial plans to complete the center by the end of 2013.

HOUSTON — Levey Group has started construction on its third tiltwall industrial facility inside Northwest Place Industrial Park, located at 6795 Bingle Road in Houston. The 18,000-square-foot facility will be 10-ton crane ready and feature storefront glass and windows. Levey Construction, a division of Levey Group, will provide construction services for the facility, which is slated for a December 2012 completion.

ANAHEIM, CALIF. — An 82,544-square-foot industrial building in Anaheim has sold to BT La Palma for $7.25 million. The company will be relocating its operations from a nearby city in North Orange County. It plans to fully occupy the building, which is located at 4890 E. La Palma Ave. Mitch Zehner and Seth Davenport of Voit Real Estate Services’ Anaheim office represented BT La Palma. The seller, Dunham & Gilliland LLC, was represented by Clyde Stauff of Colliers International.

SIMI VALLEY, CALIF. — A 21,700-square-foot industrial building in Simi Valley has sold to California Lasers for $2,139,000. The building is located at 2255 Agate Court. California Lasers was represented by Patrick DuRoss, John DeGrinisand Jeff Abraham of Colliers International. The seller, Spar Investment Company, was represented by Grant Harris, John Ochoa and Grant Fulkerson of Lee & Associates-LA North/Ventura.
