LAS VEGAS — RevZilla Motorsports has signed a lease for an undisclosed amount of space at the Warm Springs Crossing in Las Vegas. This is RevZilla’s first Western U.S. location. The online motorsports equipment company was represented by Bret Davis and Dean Kaufman of Jones Lang LaSalle. The landlord, KTR Capital Partners, was represented by Gabe Telles of CB Richard Ellis.
PHOENIX – About 98,000 square feet of general industrial space at 1025 and 1033 N. 71st Ave. in Phoenix has sold to Alliance Commercial Partners, LLC for $2.6 million. The property was built in 2007. The 1025 property was vacant and in shell condition. The 1033 building had about 1,400 square feet of spec office space that was built out at the time of sale. Paul Boyle and Rick Danis with Cassidy Turley BRE Commercial’s Capital Markets Group and Steve Mardian with the firm’s Industrial Group represented both the buyer and the seller, WE Uterque Holding Corp., a company formed by JP Morgan Chase Bank.
SPARTANBURG COUNTY, S.C. -— Seattle-based Amazon.com has plans to open a new 1 million-square-foot fulfillment center in Spartanburg County, located on a site near John Dodd Road. Amazon opened its first South Carolina fulfillment center last year in Lexington County's Saxe Gotha Industrial Park. Hiring for the new fulfillment center will begin later this year and the facility is expected to be operational this fall.
PINELLAS PARK, FLA. — The Parts House has signed a 49,000-square-foot warehouse lease, located at 6868 118th Ave. N. in Pinellas Park. Scott Clendening of St. Petersburg, Fla.-based Commercial Realty Partners represented Mosk Development Group, the landlord, in the lease transaction.
BOLINGBROOK, ILL. — Tobe Enterprises, a business and accounting services company, has leased a 48,101-square-foot industrial unit at 605 Territorial Dr. in Bolingbrook, bringing the property to full occupancy. Terry Grapenthin and Joshua Hearne of Cawley Chicago Commercial Real Estate represented the landlord, KTR Capital Partners, in the transaction. FRANKLIN TOWNSHIP, N.J. — Data center developer Russo Development has secured planning approval to move forward with Somerset Technology Park, a 71-acre data center campus in Franklin Township. The site can support more than 1.5 million square feet in multiple facilities and includes electrical power capacity of 100 megawatts from multiple 69kV feeds. Russo expects to begin site development activities within the next few months. This will be the company's ninth data center development in the New York metropolitan area.
SYLMAR, CALIF. — Corner Records Management, LLC has signed a five-year lease for 80,480 square feet of industrial space at the Valley Gateway Business Park in Sylmar. The space features 7,000 square feet of office space. Ray Howden of Cushman & Wakefield represented Corner Records. SCOTTSDALE, ARIZ. — A 34,768-square-foot industrial building in Scottsdale has sold to a Phoenix-based partnership for $3 million. It was developed in 1999 as a build-to-suit facility for The Arizona Republic, however, the building has been vacant for more than two years. Rick Foss of NAI Horizon represented the Phoenix partnership. Kyle Westfall and Pat Harlan of Cushman & Wakefield represented the seller, Gray Road Properties, LLC, in this transaction.
CARLISLE, PA. — Trammel Crow Co. and USSA Real Estate Co. plan to break ground on a 700,000-square-foot, Class A distribution facility at Mountain Creek Distribution Center in Carlisle. The two-building project will be located on 113 acres at Exit 44 of Interstate 81. The first building is slated for completion in the summer of 2012 and will include cross dock loading and 32-foot clear height ceilings. The project is approved for more than 1 million square feet of space and is designed to achieve LEED Core & Shell.
