Daniel Leahy and Adam Roth of NAI Hiffman's Oakbrook Terrace, Ill., office represented CenterPoint Properties, the landlord, in the lease transaction. COPPELL — Scentsy, Inc., a home fragrance company, is planning on opening a new 150,000-square-foot distribution center in Coppell. Scentsy plans to lease the space for its operations and the center is slated to open this month. The expansion is expected to add 190 new jobs, and the center is expected to handle approximately 27 percent of its U.S. orders.
MILWAUKEE — Milwaukee-based The Dickman Co./CORFAC International has negotiated the sale of a 374,736-square-foot industrial property, located at 6101-05 N. 64th St. in Milwaukee, for an undisclosed price. Jack Andersen and Janis Andersen sold the property to T & M Industrial Properties. Dave Hazenfield, Sam Dickman, Jr., and Sam Dickman of The Dickman Co./CORFAC International represented both parties in the transaction.
OXFORD TOWNSHIP, MICH. — Verity has purchased a 58,000-square-foot industrial building, located at 575 Glaspie St. in Oxford Township, for an undisclosed price. Joe Banyai and Clint Confer of Southfield, Mich.-based Signature Associates represented Saturn Electric, the seller, and Paul Hoge of Signature Associates represented the buyer in the transaction.
MELROSE PARK, ILL. — HSF Industries has leased 80,000 square feet of industrial space at the 300,251-square-foot facility, located at 2100 N. 15th Ave. in Melrose Park. Stephen Connolly, Lawrence Much and Kelly Disser with NAI Hiffman's Oakbrook Terrace, Ill., office represented the tenant in the lease transaction. Murry Karbin with Chicago-based Summit Commercial represented the landlord, Scarlato & Sons.
GREENVILLE, S.C. — Confluence Watersports has signed a 292,000-square-foot lease at an industrial property, located at 575 Maudlin Rd. in Greenville. Grice Hunt and Ford Borders of Greenville-based NAI Earle Furman represented Weston, the landlord, in the lease transaction. The tenant was self-represented.
AURORA, ILL. — GCR Corp. has purchased a 220,000-square-foot industrial facility, located at 705 Enterprise St. in Aurora, from JVC America for $6.2 million. The building includes 35,000 square feet of office space, 20 interior docks, two drive-in doors and has a 24-foot clear ceiling height. Eric Tresslar of NAI Hiffman's Oakbrook Terrace, Ill., office represented the buyer in the transaction and Kirk Armour and David Prell of CB Richard Ellis' Schaumburg, Ill., office represented the seller.
MINOOKA, ILL. — Electrolux has signed a 500,000-square-foot lease at the 965,183-square-foot Minooka Ridge Building II, located at 801 Midpoint Rd. in Minooka. SAN BERNARDINO, CALIF. — Simpson Strong-Tie is relocating to a 396,600-square-foot industrial building in the Agua Mansa redevelopment area in San Bernardino County. The structural product manufacturer is relocating from Brea, Calif., to increase plant capacity and improve efficiency. Simpson Strong-Tie was represented by CBRE’s Erik Wanland and Tom Dorman.
