OKLAHOMA CITY — Monmouth Real Estate Investment Corp. has acquired a 119,912-square-foot industrial property, located at 2710 S. W. 18th St. in Oklahoma City, for $9.45 million. The property is net-leased for 10 years to FedEx Ground Package System. The facility was constructed by Jones Development Co. and is situated on an approximately 15-acre site.

HUNTINGTON, N.Y. — Stalco International Group has completed construction of a 12,000-square-foot industrial facility at 1674 East Jericho Turnpike in Huntington. Florence Building Materials, a roofing and siding distributor, will use the building for warehousing. The one-story facility is connected by two pre-existing buildings: an office structure and another storage building. Baldassano Architecture served as the architect and mechanical, electrical and plumbing engineer for the project.
HAYWARD, CALIF. – A 108,000-square-foot warehouse located at 31056 Genstar Road in Hayward has sold to Win Woo Trading for more than $7 million. Win Woo plans to expand into the facility, while maintaining its presence at its current 25,000-square-foot facility. The company was represented by Jesse Lucas and Ryan Martens of Lee & Associates Oakland. The seller, Welcome Markets, was represented by CTBT.
LA MIRADA, CALIF. — La Mirada Data Center, a 16,529-square-foot data center in La Mirada, has sold to McKinney Management for $5 million. The center is located at 16680 Valley View Ave. Lynwood Fields of Madison Partners and Gary Weiss of L.A. Realty Partners represented both the buyer and the seller, OneWest Bank F.S.B., in this transaction.
MUSKEGON, MICH. — Essex Property Management has purchased a one-story, 199,785-square-foot manufacturing building at 2121 Latimer Dr. in Muskegon. Essex will use the facility as an addition to the manufacturing footprint of the Port City Group of Cos. in Western Michigan. The property includes 3,500 square feet of office space, five truck docks and parking for 115 vehicles. Rob Gemerchak of Binswanger represented the seller, Bekaert Corp. in the transaction.
WHIPPANY, N.J. — Z&Z Supply has signed a lease renewal for 13,200 square feet at 1 Apollo Dr. in Whippany. The company will continue to use the site for the wholesale distribution of HVAC equipment. SAN ANTONIO — AMJ Commercial Holdings LLC has purchased an 87,951-square-foot warehouse, located at 11503 Jones Maltsberger Road in San Antonio, from NCBTX TX LCC. Brett Baillio of First American Commercial Property Group represented the seller in the transaction.
SIMI VALLEY, CALIF. — A 9,976-square-foot industrial property in Simi Valley has sold to American Warehouse Equipment for about $2 million. The property is located at 1371 Kuehner Drive. The property was built in 1980 and renovated in 1991. John DeGrinis, Patrick DuRoss and Jeff Abraham of Colliers International’s Encino office represented both the buyer and the seller, the O’Loughlin Family Trust, in this transaction.
CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Childress Klein Properties has commenced construction on a 270,400-square-foot speculative industrial building in Charlotte’s Ridge Creek Distribution Center, located off Westinghouse Boulevard and General Drive in Charlotte. Averitt Express has signed a 67,000-square-foot lease to anchor the building, which will feature a 30-foot clear height ceilings, loading dock doors and parking for truck trailers. It will also contain energy and water saving features, including a reflective roof membrane, highly efficient electric lighting and plumbing and landscaping designed to limit water usage. The building was designed by Wagner Murray Architects and will be constructed by Shelco Inc.’s Charlotte office.
GLENDALE, WIS. — Opus Development Corp. will begin an expansion project for the Glendale headquarters of Weyco Group, a shoe distributor, later this month. Opus will construct a new building to link Weyco's main facilities to a newly acquired 80,150-square-foot warehouse adjacent to the property. The new construction and building purchase will result in 112,000 square feet of additional space. Construction on the project is scheduled for completion this October. The project will boost Weyco's total space to more than 1 million square feet.
