OLATHE, KAN. — Nabholz Construction has purchased 9,750 square feet of industrial space, located at 1707 E. 123rd Terrace in Olathe, from Randall W. Fruit Trust. John Stafford of Colliers International represented the seller in the transaction, while the buyer was not represented.
OCEANSIDE, CALIF. — The 203,779-square-foot former Ashworth Golf industrial building, located at 4010 Ocean Ranch Blvd. in the Ocean Ranch Corporate Centre in Oceanside, has been sold to a joint venture between Alliance Commercial Partners and American Realty Advisors. The property also contains an additional 6 acres of excess buildable land. The seller, Lloyd Wells Gift Trust, was represented by Mike Erwin of Cassidy Turley | BRE Commercial's Carlsbad, Calif., office. The buyer was represented by Tucker Hohenstein of Colliers International's Carlsbad office.
CHINO, CALIF. — Taylored Services has signed a 203,000-square-foot lease, located at 14211 Monte Vista Ave. in Chino, to expand its regional distribution center. The tenant was represented by Tim Pimentel, Chuck Belden and Kyle Kehner of Cushman & Wakefield's Inland Empire, Calif. office. Chris Brandt, Sam Foster and Mike Fowler of Jones Lang LaSalle's Los Angeles office represented East Group Properties, the landlord.
SHAKOPEE, MINN. — Orion Food Systems has signed a 58,481 square feet renewal agreement with a 49,088-square-foot expansion lease for a total of 107,569 square feet of industrial space at Valley Oaks Distribution Center, located at 530112th Ave. in Shakopee. The landlord is First Industrial Realty Trust.
SADSBURY TOWNSHIP, PA. — West Chester, Pa.-based telecommunications company Communications Test Design Inc. (CTDI) has renewed its lease for a 314,521-square-foot warehouse located at 200 W. Stewart Huston Drive in Sadsbury Township. The lease is for a 5-year term. CTDI originally took occupancy in 2006. BPG Properties is the landlord.
FORT WORTH — Mail Presort has expanded into a 50,000-square-foot lease at 3401 Quorum Dr. in Fort Worth. Todd Hubbard of NAI Robert Lynn's Fort Worth office represented Mail Presort in the deal with Mercantile Partners. Mail Presort originally moved into a 30,000-square-foot space last year, but has grown by more than 24 percent, and now processes an average of 1 million pieces of mail per day.
PHOENIX — Orlando, Fla.-based Custom Fab has signed a 60,971-square-foot lease at 3085 S. 43rd Ave. in Phoenix. The multi-year lease is designed to offer Custom Fab added expansion and development capabilities for their new state-of-the-art glass lining facility. Jeff Hays and Chard Neppl of Phoenix-based NAI Horizon represented the landlord, Arlington, Texas-based Kinro.
NORTH CANTON, OHIO — North Canton-based Suarez Corp. Industries has signed a 200,000-square-foot lease at a former Hoover Vacuum Cleaner facility located at the 1.4 million-square-foot, mixed-use complex The Hoover District in North Canton. Suarez will make this location a new manufacturing and distribution facility, consolidating operations from its two existing facilities located near the Akron-Canton Airport in Green and Plain Townships in Ohio. The landlord is Maple Street Commerce. Terms of the lease were not disclosed.
KENT, WASH. — Greenville, Tenn.-based Forward Air Corp. has renewed its 47,025-square-foot lease at the Kent West Corporate Park, located at 6531 South 219th St. in Kent. The 5-year lease is valued at more than $1.2 million. Brian Bruininks of Seattle-based The Andover Company represented the landlord, Newport Beach, Calif.-based DEXUS Property Group in the transaction. Michael Bauer of the Dallas-based Fischer & Co. represented Forward Air.
NORFOLK, VA. — Long Beach, Calif.-based California Cartage Co. signed a long-term, full-building, 385,000-square-foot lease in the Virginia Commerce Center at the Port of Virginia in Norfolk. The tenant will use the space to establish a high-velocity, cross-dock deconsolidation facility to receive international seaborne cargo for a top U.S. retailer. Atlanta-based McDonald Development Co. is the building’s owner, who was internally represented in the transaction by Tracy White. California Cartage was represented by Russell Smith of Daum Commercial Real Estate Services’ Newport Beach, Va., office and Ashton Williamson of CB Richard Ellis’ Norfolk office.
