KENOSHA, WIS. — Towne Investments has purchased a 22,763-square-foot truck terminal and office building at Kenosha Industrial Park in Kenosha. The company plans to expand the property by 7,200 square feet and complete building renovations. Steve Anderson of NAI MLG Commercial represented the undisclosed seller in the transaction. Riley Construction Co. and Partners in Design Architects will provide construction and design services for the property expansion and renovation. The acquisition price was not released.

BINGHAMTON AND SYRACUSE, N.Y. — CB Richard Ellis (CBRE) / Syracuse has completed two leases in Upstate N.Y. In the first deal, L-3 Communications Corp. renewed its lease for 428,000 square feet of commercial space at 265 Industrial Park Drive in Binghamton. Bill Anninos of CBRE/Syracuse partnered with Mark Sprague of CBRE's Los Angeles office to represent the tenant. The landlord is Broome County Industrial Development Agency. In the second deal, G&C Food Distributors signed a lease for 273,225 square feet of industrial space at 3407 Walters Road in Syracuse. CBRE's Peter Finn and Mark Rupprecht represented the landlord, National Industrial Portfolio.

HOUSTON – Suhm Spring Works, a manufacturer serving the oil and gas, petrochemical, heavy equipment, nuclear, aerospace and defense industries, has purchased 12.5 acres in the 486-acre Interwood Business Park, located at Beltway 8 and John F. Kennedy Boulevard in Houston. Suhm will consolidate its Houston operations on the site, including its headquarters operation. The company plans a 117,000-square-foot headquarters as well as a primary manufacturing and distribution center on the property, located at the intersection of Heathrow Forest Parkway and FM 525. Construction is set to begin late this year with completion slated for 2012. Phil Arnett of Phil Arnett Commercial Real Estate Services represented Suhm in the transaction. Wolff Cos. sold the land.

GASTONIA, N.C. — Forsite Development has acquired a 211,000-square-foot former textile mill in Gastonia. The property, which is located at 1925 W. Poplar St., has been leased to WIX Filters and Republic Textile Equipment Co. Terms of the acquisition were not released. Additionally, Forsite has leased its 165,000-square-foot facility, which is located at 1224 Isley Road, to Stanley, N.C.-based US Leisure.

GREENVILLE, S.C. — Returnable Packaging Resource Inc. (RPR) has purchased a 25,500-square-foot industrial building in Greenville. The customized packaging company plans to expand into the new facility, which is located at 34 Pelham Davis Circle. Laurens Nicholson of Bentley Commercial represented buyer, Laffler Properties LLC; Cindy See of Joseph Wardlaw Realty represented the seller, Synco LLC., in the transaction. The acquisition price was not disclosed.

FISHERS, IND. — Meritex Enterprises has acquired a three-building, 307,000-square-foot office/warehouse portfolio in Fishers. The Class A, multi-tenant properties range in size from 98,000 to 107,000 square feet. The portfolio is currently 79 percent occupied with seven tenants. RORI Property Holdings sold the asset for an undisclosed price. The properties will be managed by Jill Evans and Melissa Brickner of Meritex. Brian Seitz and Brian Buschuk of Jones Lang LaSalle's Indianapolis office will serve as leasing agents for the properties.

AKRON, OHIO — Röchling Automotive USA has planned to develop a $15 million, 75,000-square-foot manufacturing facility in Massillon Road Industrial Park in Akron. The production facility will be used to manufacture injection molding for automotive parts and is expected to employ 123 skilled workers, including machinists. Rob Gemerchak of Binswanger Advisory Services assisted Röchling in selecting the development site in Akron.

AURORA, ILL. — Premier Design + Build Group has completed a 58,114-square-foot build-out for Crescent Park. Located at Park Butterfield in Aurora, the project included 2,970 square feet of office space and 55,144 square feet of warehouse improvements. The distribution facility was required to meet food-grade requirements for the tenant, which is an outsourcing partner for consumer packaged goods companies. Project partners included Bridge Development Partners, as property owner, and Cornerstone Architects Ltd., as project architect.

TAUNTON, MASS. — Holliday Fenoglio Fowler (HFF) has arranged an $18 million loan to refinance AGAR's headquarters in Taunton. The foodservice distributor occupies a 326,000-square-foot building within Miles Standish Industrial Park at 225 John Hancock Road. Robert Herron led the HFF team that arranged the long-term, fixed-rate financing on behalf of AGAR through People's United Bank.

DELANCO, N.J. — Endurance Real Estate Group has leased 307,000 square feet of rail-served industrial space to Boise Cascade Building Materials Distribution. The property is a two-building, 309,000-square-foot warehouse property located on 47 acres at 2700 Burlington Ave. The Colliers team of Marc Isdaner and Jim Scott represented the landlord in lease negotiations.
