FORT WAYNE, IND. — Precimed Inc., a division of Greatbatch Medical, has purchased 19.5 acres of land at 4723 Kroemer Road in Fort Wayne. The buyer plans to construct an 82,000-square-foot, high-tech manufacturing facility on the site. Bill Cupp of CB Richard Ellis | Sturges represented the buyer. The seller was not disclosed.

MILWAUKEE — Bentley World Packaging has signed a lease for a 360,000-square-foot distribution building at 5211 S. 3rd St. in Milawukee. The landlord was Benderson Properties. Kevin Barry, Kenneth Braden and Kurt Van Dyke from local brokerage firm Cassidy Turley Barry arranged the deal. Cassidy Turley also recently assisted Bentley in leasing 125,000 square feet at 10001 S. Howel Ave. in Oak Creek, Wis.
MCCOOK, ILL. — Principle Construction Corp. has completed a tenant fit-out for American Tire Distributors' new industrial facility at 9450 Sergo Drive in McCook. Construction for the 233,000-square-foot facility includes new roof-mounted exhaust fans, lighting replacements, fire protection upgrades, the addition of emergency exits and the renovation of the building's office component. ML Realty Partners owns the building. Cornerstone Architects was the project architect.
ELK GROVE VILLAGE, ILL. — DB Schenker has bought out its lease for a 132,000-square-foot industrial building located at 1800 Nicholas Blvd. in Elk Grove Village. Phil Reiff, Sr., and Phil Reiff, Jr., of Paine/Wetzel • ONCOR International represented DB Schencker in the deal. The previous landlord was not disclosed. In a subsequent deal, the same Paine/Wetzel team represented DB Schenker in the leasing of 63,618 square feet of space in nearby Bensenville.
DALLAS — Weeks Robinson has acquired a Class A portfolio in the Dallas Logistics Hub from The Allen Group. The property comprises two buildings totaling 827,890 square feet. Located in south Dallas near the intersection of Interstates 20 and 45, the property is adjacent to the Union Pacific Intermodal Terminal and the planned BNSF Intermodal Facility. The properties are approximately 40 percent leased. Tom Pearson and Chris Teesdale of Colliers International in Dallas brokered the sale and Scott McGarity and his management team will manage and lease the property for Weeks Robinson. Meanwhile, Atlanta-based Weeks Robinson has opened an office led by Bob Rice, formerly of Seefried Properties, in Dallas. During the past 10 years, Rice has been involved in the development and leasing of more than 7 million square feet of new industrial property.
BOLINGBROOK, ILL. — The Missner Group has completed a renovation project at the 800,000-square-foot Bolingbrook distribution facility for beverage distributor Diageo. Construction at the facility, which is located at 1704 Remington Blvd., included the complete renovation of the building's 10,200-square-foot office component, lighting upgrades, the build-out of a modular shipping office, and the installation of epoxy flooring and safety systems.
BOHEMIA, N.Y. — CMB Wireless has purchased a 65,220-square-foot industrial/flex building located at 4000 Veteran's Memorial Hwy. in Bohemia for $5.5 million in a deal arranged by Ashlind Properties' Richie Cohen. The 7.2 acre buildling contains 37,250 square feet of office space, 8,270 square feet of R&D/data center space and 19,700 square feet of warehouse space. Charles Tabone and Daniel Gazzola of Newmark represented the seller, Avaya, in the transaction.
CHINO, CALIF. — Voit Real Estate Services has assisted a global import company in its relocation to a 100,362-square-foot industrial distribution facility. The Sam Pievac Company, which manufactures and distributes retail displays and fixtures, purchased the facility for $6.5 million from Bridgestone Bandag, LLC. The property will replace the 63,000-square-foot facility the company had previously occupied in Santa Fe Springs, CA, and will serve as Sam Pievac’s U.S. distribution center. The company also owns and operates a 500,000 square-foot manufacturing plant in Xiamen, China. Dan Vittone and Alan Pekarcik from Voit’s Irvine office represented the Sam Pievac Company. Lee and Associates represented Bridgestone Bandag. Vittone noted that Sam Pievac’s resulting debt service for the Inland Empire-based building is less than the rent it was paying for the Santa Fe Springs facility, despite the fact that the new building is 40 percent larger.
SAN DIEGO — Cassidy Turley BRE Commercial has sold a 3,000-square-foot industrial building in Otay Mesa for $1 million. The building is located at 9955 Via de la Amistad, and is situated on two acres of improved land. Regan Tully of Cassidy Turley BRE Commercial represented the seller, Otay Properties, Inc. Ken Ruppert, Kerry Schimpf and Cameron Czubernat, also of Cassidy Turley, represented the buyer, Pann Family, LLC.
HAUPPAUGE, N.Y. — The Hamphire Companies has sold a Long Island warehouse to C.R. Trop LLC. The property is located in Hauppauge at 75 Oser Ave., within Hauppauge Industrial Park. It totals 32,500 square feet and features full air conditioning, 16-foot clear ceilings, two docks and one drive-in door. Richie Cohen of Ashlind Properties represented Hampshire in the deal.
