HAZELWOOD, MO. — St. Louis-based Pinnacle Contracting is managing the $3 million expansion of a warehouse and distribution facility for Community Tire. Located on Pershall Road in Hazelwood, the existing 185,000-square-foot property will receive a 61,000-square-foot expansion. The company’s Hazelwood facility serves more than 3,000 customers in Missouri, Illinois, Iowa and Indiana. Core 10 is providing architectural services for the project, which is scheduled for completion this fall. Additional sub-contractors include Budrovich Excavating Inc., Vee-Jay Cement Contracting Co., Kupferer Brothers Iron Work, Kmeier Roof Systems, Mehaffy Door & Hardware Co., FireTech, Systemaire and Kaemmerlen Electric Co.

CLEAR LAKE, TEXAS — Weiss Realty has sold a 539-unit Safe-Keeping Self Storage facility to a subsidiary of WEDGE Real Estate Holdings for an undisclosed amount. The property is located at 900 West Nasa Parkway in Clear Lake. Aaron Swerdlin and Doug McCarron of Holliday Fenoglio Fowler represented the seller.
ONTARIO, CALIF. — DAUM Commercial Real Estate Services has handled the $4.3 million disposition of an 85,000-square-foot industrial building located at 2090 S. Baker Avenue in Ontario. DAUM’s Gus Andros represented the sellers, TC Logistics and DF Services, in the transaction, and Jeff Chiao of RE/MAX Realty 100 represented the undisclosed buyer.
PHOENIX — Binswanger has negotiated the $2.6 million sale of a 38,160-square-foot industrial building located at 3804 E. Watkins Street in Phoenix. Doug Heller of Philadelphia-based Binswanger represented Dow Chemical Co. in its disposition of the property to the Mission Woods, Kan.-based buyer, Layne Christensen Co.
JACKSONVILLE, FLA. — US Industrial REIT III has purchased the 469,830-square-foot General Electric Distribution Center from I&G UOC Jacksonville for an undisclosed amount. The Class A facility, which is located on 24 acres in Jacksonville, was built in 1996. The building includes T-5 lighting and a 3-year-old roof. CB Richard Ellis' Frank Fallon, Chris Riley and Nathan Rogers represented the seller.
SECAUCUS, N.J. — Production Resource Group (PRG) has signed a lease for 220,000 square feet of office and warehouse space at 915 Secaucus Rd. in Secaucus. The tenant is consolidating and expanding its existing facilities in Mt. Vernon, N.Y., and North Bergen, N.J., into the new space, which will serve as its new Northeast headquarters. Stan Danzig and Stephen Elman of Cushman & Wakefield represented the tenant in lease negotiations. The landlord, Hartz Mountain Industries, represented itself in-house with Charles Reese.
SAN DIEGO — H. Antis Real Estate Co. has brokered a nearly $1.53 million industrial lease renewal for 24,244 square feet at 5648 Copley Dr. in San Diego. H. Hank Antis represented SCP Distribution, the lessee, in the 60-month deal with M. House Family Limited Partnership, the landlord, which represented itself.
DAVIE, FLA. — Strategic Storage Trust has purchased a 1,040-unit self-storage location from a private party for an undisclosed price. The company will rebrand the property, which is located on 8.4 acres at 3401 South State Road 7, as a SmartStopSM Self Storage store. The property is currently 87 percent occupied. Marcus & Millichap's Charles LeClaire and Mike Mele brokered the sale.
CHICAGO — High Street Equity Advisors has acquired a seven-building industrial portfolio that is located throughout Chicago’s Greater O’Hare submarket. The 471,809-square-foot portfolio sold for an undisclosed price. The portfolio consists of first- and second-generation buildings, which are fully occupied by a diverse group of seven tenants. Michael Caprile, Ted Staszak, Pat McCourt and Stephanie Park of CB Richard Ellis represented the undisclosed seller in the transaction.
BELVIDERE, ILL. — North Carolina-based New Breed Logistics has leased 50,000 square feet of distribution space in Belvidere. The third-party logistics company leased the space for an undisclosed price.
