OAK CREEK, WIS. — Bucyrus International has purchased a 120,000-square-foot industrial property in Oak Creek. Situated on 27 acres at 6744 S. Howell Ave., the property sold for an undisclosed price. The Dickman Company represented the buyer; RFP Commercial represented the seller, Westminster Badger, in the transaction. Terms of the deal were not released.
CARLSBAD, CALIF. — Opus Pointe IV, a four-building, nearly 160,000-square-foot flex-industrial/R&D development located along Lionshead Avenue within Carlsbad Raceway Business Park in Carlsbad, has been completed. The last of four phases at the 489,000-square-foot Opus Pointe development, the property can accommodate office, light-industrial and/or manufacturing operations. Smith Consulting Architects was the designer of the tilt-up, concrete buildings, and Opus West Construction Corp. was the general contractor.
ORLANDO AND APOPKA, FLA. — Rebman Properties has brokered two warehouse leases in the Orlando area totaling 109,875 square feet. The firm's Roger Rebman and Lyle Nelsen represented Oakmont Industrial Group in its 60,000-square-foot lease to Golden State Foods. The property is located in the Northwest Distribution Center in Orlando. Greg Rebman of Rebman Properties represented ABC Supply Co. in its 49,875-square-foot lease to Andes Fiber and Paper. The property is located at 2550 Clark St. in Apopka.
HAZLETON, PA. — Higgins Development Partners has sold a Class A warehouse/distribution facility in Hazleton to Exeter Property Group for $12.9 million. The property totals 400,260 square feet and is located within Humboldt Industrial Park at 68 Green Mountain Road. It contains 32-foot ceiling heights. Graham Packaging occupies 168,630 square feet, with the remaining space available for lease. Steve Bonge, Tim Brogan and Patrick McBride of Grubb & Ellis represented the seller.
HOUSTON — Wholesale Roofing Supply has purchased a 40,055-square-foot warehouse from Bowie Sims Prange for an undisclosed amount. The property is located at 1310 Richey Road in Houston. CB Richard Ellis' Glynn Mireles represented the buyer. The seller had in-house representation.
NORTHBOROUGH, MASS. — Hartford, Conn.-based Cornerstone Real Estate Advisors has acquired the Genzyme | Northborough facility for $17.5 million. Built in 1988, the property is situated on 18 acres at 11 Forbes Road in Northborough. It contains 211,600 square feet of office, R&D, and pharmaceutical production and distribution space. Genzyme is the sole tenant. The property is in the midst of an approximately $60 million renovation that will expand the facility by 40,300 square feet. It will also be seeking LEED-Gold certification. Robert Griffin, Jr.; Edward Maher, Jr.; David Pergola and Christopher Griffin represented the seller, a joint venture bwtween ING Clarion Partners and Leggat McCall Properties, and procured the buyer.

The building contains 16-foot ceiling heights, two tailgate docks, one drive-in door and 2,665 square feet of office space. It is situated within Woodhaven Industrial Park at 1642 Woodhaven Drive. Roddy represented the seller, French Palm LLC. The buyer is a carpentry/drywall subcontractor.

STOREY COUNTY, NEV. — Panattoni Construction has completed a $3.7 million build-to-suit manufacturing project for Chart Industries in the Reno Tahoe Industrial Center in Storey County. Construction on the 40,000-square-foot property, which is located approximately 7 miles east of the Reno-Sparks area along Interstate 80, began in June 2009.
