AURORA, ILL. — Midwest Warehouse has signed a lease for a 549,588-square-foot warehouse facility in Aurora. Developed by Duke Realty Corp. in 2008, the Class A property is situated on 25.4 acres at 2805 Duke Parkway. Tim Thompson and Brad Borkowski of HSA Commercial Real Estate represented Midwest Warehouse, a third-party logistics firm; Lynn Reich and Brian Kling of Colliers B&K represented the ownership, Duke Realty Corp., in the transaction. Terms of the lease were not released.

GRAND RAPIDS, MICH. — Hansen Collision has acquired a 24,565-square-foot industrial facility, which is located at 7536 Expressway Drive in Grand Rapids. The facility was the former Cummins Bridgeway property. Cummins Bridgeway sold the property for an undisclosed price. Chad Versluis of NAI West Michigan represented both parties in the transaction.
HAZLETON, PA. — NAI Summit has brokered the sale of an 87,350-square-foot warehouse in Hazleton. The property is situated within Valmont Industrial Park at 500 Jaycee Drive. It traded for $950,000. Bob Nemeth of NAI Summit represented the seller, Kalola Associates. The buyer, Cradle Real Estate, plans to lease the space to Concord Plastics, which will use it as a recycling center.
BURR RIDGE, ILL. — Dik Drug Co. has selected Woodridge, Ill.-based Morgan/Harbour Construction to complete a 32,065-square-foot warehouse expansion in Burr Ridge. The project includes adding 32,065 square feet to the company’s existing 78,082-square-foot property, which is located at 160 Tower Drive. The expansion will include five exterior dock, one drive-in door and 28-foot clear ceiling heights. Dik Drug warehouses more than 20,000 products over a broad spectrum of categories and specializes in providing service and support to independent pharmacies. Cornerstone Architects is providing architectural services for the project, which is scheduled for completion in the first quarter of 2011.
EAST GREENBUSH, N.Y. — NAI Platform has negotiated the sale of a 42,000-square-foot flex warehouse building in East Greenbush. The building is located at 1 Power Way and consists of half office space and half warehouse space. NAI's Dan Slote, Jim Harder and Tyler Culberson represented the undisclosed seller. The buyer's name was also not released.
AMARILLO — Ryan Companies US has begun construction on a 115,000-sqaure-foot development facility for Alstom Wind in Amarillo. The 19-acre property, which was designed to achieve LEED certification, is expected to be online next year. The firm will staff the property, which will serve as its North American manufacturing hub, with 275 workers.
CORONA, CALIF. — Tomasa Flores Separate Property Trust has sold a 55,459-square-foot industrial property, located at 1451 E. 6th Street in Corona, for $4.2 million. Voit Real Estate Services’ Mitch Zehner, Ryan Moore and Seth Davenport represented both the buyer, ABC School Equipment, and the seller in the transaction.
MEDLEY, FLA. — Mike Davis, Brian Smith and Wayne Ramoski represented a private seller in the sale of Palmetto Distribution Center to an undisclosed party. The 880,543-square-foot property traded for $66.5 million. Palmetto Distribution Center, which will now be known as AMB Miami International Business Park, is located at the intersection of Palmetto Expressway and US Highway 27 in Medley. The park is 95 percent occupied.
BALTIMORE — DCT Industrial Trust has purchased a two-building distribution property from a private party for $13.8 million. The 323,000-square-foot development is located at 6200-6300 Beckley St. in Baltimore. The property houses three tenants and is fully leased.
SEAFORD, DEL. — Pyramid Transport, a third-party logistics provider, has signed a lease for 104,000 square feet of warehouse space in Seaford. Bradley Gillis and Tom Knopp of Sperry Van Ness – Miller Commercial Real Estate represented the landlord, Penco Public Warehouse, in the deal. Terms of the lease were not disclosed.
