HACKENSACK, N.J. — The Hampshire Companies will complete construction this April for a new self-storage facility in Hackensack. Located at 260 Railroad Ave., the facility will contain 81,300 square feet in 600 units. It will be branded as Hampshire Self Storage.

CAPITOL HEIGHTS, MD. — BSV Ritchie Road LLC, an investment-partnership controlled by Broad Street Ventures, has purchased an industrial building in Capitol Heights. Located at 51 Ritchie Road, the 99,000-square-foot building is fully leased by United Sheet Metal Inc. Financing for the $6.6 million acquisition was provided by Eagle Bank. Michael Jacoby, Tom Yockey and Jeff Kelly of Broad Street Ventures lead the transaction.
HOLBROOK, N.Y. — Los Angeles-based UniNet Imaging has signed a lease for 40,300 square feet of industrial space at 721-725 Broadway Ave. in Holbrook. The manufacturer plans to relocate its East Coast distribution center to the new space. It had previously been located in nearby Bohemia. Richard Cohen and Ashley Cohen of Ashlind Properties represented the tenant in lease negotiations. Michael Schefren of Colliers International represented the landlord, Long Island Industrial Management. The tenant will take occupancy in March.
DALLAS — Holliday Fenoglio Fowler (HFF) has arranged $17.7 million financing for a five-property industrial portfolio totaling 667,702 square feet in northern Dallas. HFF worked on behalf of Crow Holdings to secure the fixed-rate loan through MetLife Real Estate Investments. The portfolio consists of multi-tenant office/warehouse and distribution facilities that are 92 percent leased to tenants including Xerox Corp., Freed's Furniture, Bunzl Distribution, Tohatsu America Corp. and All American Flooring. The properties included in the portfolio are 2005 Valley View Ln., 4650-4654 Nall Rd., 4700 Nall Rd., 4720 Simonton Rd. and 4990 Alpha Rd. in Dallas.
IRVING AND DALLAS — Illinois Mutual Life Insurance Co. has sold a 51,951-square-foot office building, located at 8615 Freeport Pkwy. in Irving, to Capital Commercial Investments. Leigh Richter of Bradford Commercial Real Estate Services represented the seller, while Roger Shipp represented Capital Commercial Investments in house. Meanwhile, Foxworth-Galbraith Lumber Co. has sold a two-story, 47,086-square-foot office building, located at 17111 Waterview Pkwy. in Dallas, to Eclipse Electronics Systems. Sharon Friedberg of Bradford Commercial Real Estate Services and Nick Rossini of UGL Services represented the buyer, while Janice Peters of Hudson Peters Commercial represented the seller.
SPARKS, NEV. — Morrissey Realty has presided over the almost $4.5 million sale of a 100,000-square-foot manufacturing facility, located at 650 Lillard Drive in Sparks. The brokerage firm’s Pat Morrissey represented the seller, 650 Lillard Partnership, and James Lowey represented the buyer, Estero Porch LLC.
GROVELAND, FLA. — Commercial Warehousing Inc. has signed a lease for 192,000 square feet of industrial space at 19925 Independence Blvd. in Groveland. The space is a portion of the former Circuit City distribution facility, which totals 706,500 square feet. David Murphy of CB Richard Ellis' Orlando, Fla., office represented the landlord, Cole Real Estate Investments, in the transaction. Terms of the lease were not released.
WYOMING, MICH. — Franklin Partners is redeveloping and renovating 4247 Eastern Avenue S.E. in Wyoming. The company is raising the roof on the 324,000-square-foot factory, which was declared functionally obsolete, from 15 to 32 feet clear height on more than 70 percent of the building. Once completed in March, Grand Rapids, Mich.-based Undercar Products plans to utilize the facility to manufacture automotive components. Built in the 1950s, the facility has been vacant since 2007. Franklin had partnered with Canada-based Rooflifters to add the addition clear height to the existing building. Additionally, Franklin Partners plans to upgrade the buildings' exterior and construct offices and an enhanced parking area. Colliers International | West Michigan brokered the building transaction with Undercar Products.
HOWELL, MICH. — Michigan Automatic Turning has acquired 112,500 square feet of industrial space in Howell. Arete Industries sold the property, which is located at 1045 Durant Dr. Jim Montgomery of Signature Associates represented the buyer; Montgomery and Steven Gordon, also of Signature Associates, represented the seller in the transaction. The acquisition price was not released.
BLOOMFIELD TOWNSHIP, MICH. — Bataan LLC has purchased a 4,700-square-foot property in Bloomfield Township for an undisclosed price. The property, which is located at 2274 Telegraph Road, was sold by John Wohlfeil Jr. Tony Schmitt of Mid-America Real Estate – Michigan represented the seller in the transaction.
