ORRVILLE, OHIO — Holtec International has acquired a 202,000-square-foot industrial facility, which is located at 1400 Diary Ln. in Orrville. Situated on a 25.72-acre site, the property offers 186,700 square feet of industrial space and 15,400 square feet of office space. The company will open a nuclear power division, which provides management solutions for the backend of the nuclear power cycle, at the site. Matt Beesley and Fred Christie of CRESCO Real Estate represented the seller, American Weatherseal, in the transaction. The acquisition price was not disclosed.

MISSOURI CITY, TEXAS — Lufkin Automation has acquired a 6.2-acre site in Missouri City's Lakeview Business Park for the construction of a new headquarters building. The $4 million project will consist of a 40,000-square-foot building. Construction is set to begin in early 2010. Lufkin will be relocating from its current facility on Beltway 8 in Houston. Economic incentives are being provided by the City of Missouri City. Lakeview Business Park is a 157-acre development owned by Trammell Crow Co.

NORTH RICHLAND HILLS, TEXAS — Surgical mask manufacturer Prestige Ameritech is expanding its operations into North Richland Hills. The company will occupy a 220,000-square-foot manufacturing facility located at 7201 Iron Horse Blvd. beginning in January 2010. It plans to employ more than 400 workers at the facility by 2015. The Iron Horse Boulevard building was previously occupied by Kimberly-Clark but has sat vacant since the company relocated its operations in 2001. Terms of the lease and the landlord's name were not disclosed.

LONG BEACH, CALIF. — W.E. O'Neil Construction Co. of California has started construction on the $48 million Pier G Maintenance Facility located in the Port of Long Beach. The project is part of the broader terminal redevelopment efforts, which include construction of an 87,200-square-foot maintenance and repair building, a 17,500-square-foot reefer wash building, a 10,000-square-foot West Arrival building, associated car and equipment parking, and a longshore restroom. Robert Stewart Architects has designed the Pier G Maintenance Facility to achieve LEED Silver certification.

SUWANEE, GA. — Toledo, Ohio-based Sofo Foods has purchased a 114,412-square-foot warehouse from an undisclosed seller for $2.9 million. The property, which Sofo will occupy in March, is located on 13 acres at 3910 Lakefield Dr. in Suwanee. Atlanta-based Colliers Spectrum Cauble’s Chris Cummings, Elizabeth McSweeney and Bill Buist represented Sofo. The firm’s Mike Spears and Ryan Sawyer represented the seller.

ROMEOVILLE, ILL. — Kylie Capital has purchased a 162,895-square-foot industrial facility, located within Windham Lakes Business Park in Romeoville, from Panattoni Development Co. for an undisclosed price. Panattoni recently purchased the property, which is located at 1186-98 Arbor Dr., as part of a larger portfolio from Prudential Real Estate Investors. Brett Kroner of CB Richard Ellis represented the buyer; Stephen Connolly and Mark Moran of NAI Hiffman represented the seller, Panattoni, in the transaction.

MILWAUKEE, WIS. — 5th Ward Partners has acquired two industrial properties, which are located at 401-415 S. 3rd St. and 422 S. 4th St. in Milwaukee, for an undisclosed price. The buyer plans to occupy a portion of the facilities in the short term with plans to eventually redevelop the properties. Badger Trailer, which recently relocated to Franksville, Wis., formerly occupied the properties. James Young of Colliers Barry represented 5th Ward Partners and the seller, Badger Trailer, in the transaction.

ROMEOVILLE, ILL. — Sitex Realty Group has acquired a 27,700-square-foot industrial facility in Romeoville. The property is located at 1231-1233 Naperville Dr. within Marquette Business Park. Wingfoot Commercial Tire and Parkway Imaging currently occupy the facility. Ben Cremer and Mike Robbins of NAI Hiffman represented the undisclosed seller in the transaction. The acquisition price was not released.
