MENOMONEE FALLS, WIS. — M&M Quality Solutions, a third-party containment organization, has leased 85,000 square feet of industrial space at Menomonee Falls Industrial Park in Menomonee Falls. Located at N90W14700 Commerce Drive, the 100,000-square-foot building is owned by SBM of Wisconsin. Terms of the lease were not released. Kevin Barry and Kurt Van Dyke of Cassidy Turley Barry represented the landlord; Brian Parrish of The Dickman Company represented the tenant in the transaction.
RALEIGH, N.C. — Phoenix Telecom Solutions has leased a 186,000-square-foot warehouse from Meridian Development Group in Raleigh. The property, which Meridian purchased in 2007 and was formerly occupied by Flextronics, is located at 4400 Emperor Blvd. Mike Lewis of the Lewis Group represented the tenant. Cassidy Turley's Chris Norvell and Jackson Rives represented the landlord.
CLIO, MICH. — PNC Bank National Association has sold a 12,000-square-foot industrial space to Webster & Garner, a distributor of commercial fuel, propane and petroleum products. Located at 900 Tacoma Court in Clio, the property sold for an undisclosed price. Paul Feldman of Friedman Real Estate Group represented the seller in the transaction.
TOMAH, WIS. — Ryan Companies US recently broke ground for the construction of a 354,192-square-foot distribution center in Tomah for The Toro Company. Scheduled for completion this fall, the facility will serve as the distribution hub for the company’s commercial turf products. Construction is slated to begin in September, with plans for Toro to transition operations to the new facility in early October. Ryan is providing an integrated development, architecture, engineering, construction and capital markets solution for the project.
NEW YORK CITY — A Manhattan artist has acquired an industrial building in Brooklyn's Gowanus neighborhood and plans to redevelop it into an art studio. The single-story, 4,500-square-foot building is located at 45-49 4th St. Melissa DiBella and Ofer Cohen of Brooklyn-based TerraCRG represented the undisclosed seller in the deal. Chad Castle of Excelsior Realty represented the buyer. The acquisition price was not disclosed.
MCCARRAN, NEV. — A large Internet retailer has leased 566,875 square feet at McShane Development Co./MetLife Real Estate Investments’ Building I at Eagle Valley Industrial Center in McCarran. The full-building commitment involves initial occupancy in June of 284,360 square feet. CB Richard Ellis’ Eric Bennett, Matt Riecken, E. Gordon Zack and Mike Nevis represented the owners in the lease transaction, and Brad Lancaster of Reno, Nevada-based Miller Industrial Properties represented the tenant. Building I is the first of two industrial buildings to be developed by the McShane/MetLife industrial development alliance at Eagle Valley Industrial Center, a 1.1 million-square-foot industrial business park in the heart of the Tahoe-Reno industrial market.
GOODYEAR, ARIZ. — Binswanger has negotiated a 460,000-square-foot industrial lease on behalf of a solar-related tenant at the former Rubbermaid manufacturing site in Goodyear. Binswanger’s Doug Heller, Eric Dienstbach and Rob Gemerchak represented both the lessee and the landlord, BET Investments, in the transaction.
ORLANDO, FLA. — FedEx Smartpost has renewed a 101,016-square-foot lease with an undisclosed landlord for 2 years. The property, Crossroads VI, is located at 501 Gills Drive in Orlando. Erik Schwetje of CB Richard Ellis brokered the transaction.
MORRISVILLE, N.C. — iContact, an e-mail marketing firm, has signed a 70,304-square-foot lease with Duke Realty Corp. for space in Perimeter Park. The property is located at 5221 Paramount Parkway in Morrisville; iContact will occupy some of the space recently vacated by Lenovo, who moved out of the building late last year. Jones Lang LaSalle's Ryan Lawrence represented the tenant. Hooker Manning served as in-house representation for Duke Realty Corp.
