The building, which contains warehouse and showroom space, is located at 2561 Tarpley Rd. Nathan Denton and Hanes Chatham of Lee's Dallas-Fort Worth office represented the seller, International Motor Products. The buyer was Tarpley National LP.
MIAMI — Rigstar II Holding Corp. has acquired a 156,871-square-foot warehouse from First Industrial Realty Trust for $11.92 million in an all-cash purchase. The property, which has never been occupied, is located in Flagler Station at 10910 N.W. 92nd Terrace in Miami. Parvani Commercial Group’s Reshma Parvani represented the buyer. Michael Silver of CB Richard Ellis’ Miami office represented the seller.
SMYRNA, TENN. — Swanson Developments of Murfreesboro, Tenn., has purchased a 126,000-square-foot warehouse from a Japanese corporation for an undisclosed amount. The property is located across the street from a Nissan plant at 611 Enon Springs Rd. in Smyrna.
CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Irvine, Calif.-based Quality Custom Distribution Services has leased 60,000 square feet of warehouse space from an undisclosed landlord. The property is located in the Gateway Distribution Center in Charlotte. QCDS was represented by Rob Speir of Charlotte-based Keystone Partners and John Simmons of Medford, Mass.-based Corporate Realty Advisors. Charlotte-based Clarus Properties’ Lawrence Shaw represented the landlord.
ROCHESTER HILLS, MICH. — CB Richard Ellis (CBRE) has brokered a 17,235-square-foot industrial lease at 2667 Product Dr. in Rochester Hills. Active Tools USA will occupy the space and plans to use it for engineering product design and testing. Gene Agnone and Lauren Scarpace of CBRE's Detroit office represented the tenant in lease negotiations. The landlord is Product Drive Company LLC.
MADISON HEIGHTS AND WARREN, MICH. — L. Mason Capitani/CORFAC International (LMC) has negotiated two Michigan industrial leases. In the first transaction, Advanced Communications signed a lease for 13,587 square feet at 29815 John R Rd. in Madison Heights. Michael Grammatico and Garry Rogers of LMC represented the undisclosed landlord. In addition, Loadstar Removal Corp. signed a lease for an 11,200-square-foot building at 21986 Schmeman Ave. in Warren. Grammatico and Tom Jablonski, also of LMC, represented the tenant. The landlord was not disclosed.
MONROE, CONN. — Mikron Corp. has disposed of its 15,000-square-foot flex facility located in Monroe. The building is situated on 4.9 acres at 600 Pepper St. It was acquired by Fred George, who plans to consolidate the operations of his company, Accutrol Co., into the building. It will house the company's sales and service departments as well as a separate manufacturing area. Mikron Corp. will be relocating to a new facility in Monroe at 200 Main St. Bruce Wettenstein of Vidal/Wettenstein represented the buyer in the transaction. The acquisition price was not disclosed.
WILMER, TEXAS — US Industrial REIT II, an affiliate of USAA Real Estate Co., has completed a lease for 286,000 square feet at I-45 Tradeport I, a distribution facility the company owns in Wilbur. The 520,000-square-foot building is situated at 101 Sunridge Blvd.; in features cross docking, 47 dock doors, 44 trailer positions with room for expansion and 140 truck courts. Gary Collett, Dan Cook, Mark Becker and Ashley Pope of Cushman & Wakefield represented USAA in lease negotiations. The tenant and the terms of the lease were not disclosed.
ESCONDIDO, CALIF. — BMT Scientific Marine Services has signed a 24,500-square-foot warehouse lease with 955 Borra Place LLC in Escondido. The firm leased the space, which is located at 955 Borra Place, for 120 months. BMT will occupy 72 percent of the fully leased building. Greg Pieratt and Tom Blackmore of Lee & Associates’ Carlsbad, Calif., office represented the tenant.
