HOLLISTON, MASS. — Fresno, Calif.-based Electronics Recyclers International (ERI) has signed a 5-year lease for 100,000 square feet at 89 Cross St. in Holliston. The industrial space, formerly an Avery Dennison distribution facility, will be used by the company as recycling space to serve its New England customer base. The NAI Hunneman team of Cathy Minnerly, Mike DiGiano, David Gilkie, Michael McCarthy and Neil Sogard represented ERI in lease negotiations. GRAND PRAIRIE — Evolution Packaging, a fulfillment and packaging services company, has signed a 51,200-square-foot lease in the Trinity West Business Park located at 2450 and 2550 114th St. in Grand Prairie. The 140,900-square-foot industrial park offers close proximity to DFW International Airport and access to State Highway 360. Mark Hull and Brett Heinen of Henry S. Miller Brokerage represented Evolution Packaging, while Jim Ferris and Michael Spain of Bradford Co. represented the landlord.
ALSIP, ILL. — FutureMark Paper Co. has renewed its lease at 13040 S. Pulaski in Alsip. The environmentally-friendly paper manufacturer leases 81,468 square feet of industrial space at the property. Ryan Hanley and Chris Gary of Darwin Realty & Development Corp. represented the tenant in the transaction. The landlord is Australia-based Mirvac Property Trust. Terms of the transaction were not released.
CRANSTON, R.I. — Fantini & Gorga has arranged $2.37 million in permanent financing for a flex property located in Cranston. The property, a 53,570-square-foot flex industrial building, is situated on 3.96 acres at 28 Kenney Drive. The borrower was NEREEF Cranston LLP, which is an affiliate of Calare Properties. The lender was an undisclosed insurance company.
ARLINGTON — Assured Self Storage has acquired 4.49 acres of land at the northeast corner of U.S. Highway 287 and Turner Warnell Road in Arlington for the construction of a third Assured Self Storage in Arlington. Shawn Valk of Assured Realty represented the self storage company in the acquisition, and Pete Richardson and Andrew Richardson of Henry S. Miller Brokerage represented the seller, Bill Rose of Rose Investments. It will be Assured Self Storage's 23rd location in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex.
NORTH WILKESBORO, N.C. — Colliers International has brokered the sale of an industrial property in North Wilkesboro. Shepard Real Estate purchased the 376,000-square-foot industrial building, located at 1101 D St., for an undisclosed price. Brent Beshears of Colliers International represented the buyer and the seller, La-Z-Boy, in the transaction.
BRANCHBURG, N.J. — CB Richard Ellis (CBRE) has arranged a long-term lease for 78,343 square feet of industrial space at 47 Readington Road in Branchburg. The tenant for the single-story warehouse is Branchburg Sports Complex, which plans to create an indoor sports facility that will include an indoor lacrosse field and batting cages. Thomas Monahan and Stacey Weinberg, both of CBRE, represented the tenant as well as the landlord, The Hampshire Companies.
CORPUS CHRISTI — Clarkwood Industrial Park LLC has sold the former Celanese Technical Center to Double T&C Properties for an undisclosed amount in Corpus Christi. Located between Clarkwood Road and Rand Morgan, the property includes more than 200,000 square feet of office, warehouse and laboratory space in 11 buildings on more than 100 acres. CITY OF INDUSTRY, CALIF. — Voit Real Estate Services has directed the more than $14.4 million sale of a 157,328-square-foot industrial property, located at the intersection of 1100 Hatcher Avenue and 17521 & 17531 Railroad Street in the City of Industry, to Australian REIT, DEXUS Property Group. The multi-tenant Industry City Center is a 100-percent occupied, institutionally managed property situated near the 60 Freeway. Voit’s Alan Pekarcik, Dan Vittone and Nick Frasco represented both DEXUS, the buyer, and the undisclosed seller in the transaction.
FONTANA, CALIF. — Watson Land Co. has leased a 350,000-square-foot industrial facility, located at 13055 S. Valley Blvd. within the two-building Watson Commerce Center Fontana, to Smart & Final for the warehousing and distribution needs of all of the food retailer’s Southern California stores. The 92-month lease is valued at approximately $11.5 million. Cushman & Wakefield’s Brian Zurawski and Chuck Belden represented Smart & Final in the transaction, and Lee & Associates’ Michael Chavez, Bill Heim and Eloy Covarrubias represented WLC.
