WALINGFORD AND WATERBURY, CONN. — Fantini & Gorga has assisted Eastern Bank in arranging $6 million in acquisition financing for two self-storage facilities in Wallingford and Waterbury. The Wallingford facility contains 54,075 rentable square feet and 490 units in two buildings, along with several outdoor parking spaces. The Waterbury property, set on 4.97 acres, encompasses 54,875 square feet and 546 rental units within two buildings. The loan was arranged on behalf of Tarco Properties, which plans to convert the facilities from the Lock Tight brand to its flag, Value Store-It. Fantini & Gorga and Eastern Bank collaborated on the loan package.

BLUE MOUND, TEXAS — Henry S. Miller Brokerage (HSMB) has arranged a 45,000-square-foot industrial lease in Blue Mound on behalf of Oilfield Equipment Rental Co. The Hobbs, N.M.-based company will occupy the space, located at 1001 Blue Mound Rd., as its Texas operations. In addition to distribution space, the building also contains approximately 2,000 square feet of office space. The landlord of 1001 Blue Mound Road is Hilzer Family Trust. HSMB’s Pete Richardson and Drew Richardson were the sole brokers in the transaction. Terms of the lease were not disclosed.
COPPELL AND DALLAS, TEXAS — Lee & Associates has arranged two leases in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. First the company brokered a 30,374-square-foot lease on behalf of Matrix Network. The company will be expanding into space within Royal Park Coppell, a speculative industrial development located at 850 Freeport Pkwy. in Coppell. It had previously been located in nearby Carrollton. Conrad Madsen and Greg Nelson, both of Lee & Associates, represented the tenant. The landlord, Hays & Jones, was represented by Dave Anderson of CB Richard Ellis. In Dallas, Lee & Associates completed the lease of a 16,950-square-foot industrial facility, located at 2552 Merrell Rd. The tenant, Prestige Landscape, will occupy the building for a 3-year term. Prestige was represented by Lee & Associates’ Adam Graham. The undisclosed landlord was represented by Nathan Denton and Hanes Chatham, also of Lee & Associates.
PORTLAND, ORE. — The Realty Associates Fund VI LP has acquired a 126,388-square-foot industrial building, which is located at 17625 N.E. Sandy Blvd. in Portland. Dutton Acquisitions LLC sold the property for $6.15 million. Kevin Shannon and Scott Schumacher of CB Richard Ellis represented the buyer; Nick Kucha and Don Ossey of Capacity Commercial Group represented the seller in the transaction.
NASHVILLE, TENN. — Alcoa Electrical & Electronic Solutions has sold a 50,700-square-foot warehouse to D&P Lights & Wiring Systems for $1.3 million. The property is located at 900 N. 63rd Ave. in Nashville. David McGahren, Doug Howard and John Ward of Colliers Turley Martin Tucker’s Nashville office represented the seller.
SABINA, OHIO — Sidney, Ohio-based Industrial Property Brokers (IPB) has completed the acquisition of a 120,000-square-foot warehouse facility, located at 853 E. Washington St. in Sabina. The property was purchased by Seed Consultants, which plans to use it as a supplemental warehouse for the company’s nearby operations. Seed Consultants plans to have the new facility ready to ship by this winter. Tim Echemann of IPB negotiated the transaction. The acquisition price was not disclosed.
LOGAN TOWNSHIP, N.J. — Steve Dobraniecki of NAI Emory Hill recently negotiates a 10-year, 20,000-square-foot lease on behalf of Brand Energy and Infrastructure, an international multicraft service company focused in the power, refinery and large commercial industry. The space is located at 740 Veterans Dr. in Logan Township. Scott Mertz at NAI Mertz Corp. co-brokered the deal with Dobraniecki.
TEMPLE, TEXAS — Philadelphia-based Binswanger has brokered the sale of 160 acres, located within Temple Industrial Park in Temple. The parcel was acquired by San Antonio-based grocery store chain H-E-B, which plans to construct a 400,000-square-foot distribution center on the site. The facility will serve the grocer’s north central Texas stores. Binswanger negotiated the sale between H-E-B and the sellers, the Temple Economic Development Corp. and the city of Temple. H-E-B currently operates 300 stores in Texas and Mexico.
HOUSTON – Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. has leased space at Houston’s Hammerly Business Park. Goodyear leased 17,658 square feet of the facility, which is located at 1811 Brittmore Road in the city’s northwest submarket. Colliers International’s Cody Smoot represented the tenant; Gray Gilbert and Bill Rudolf of CB Richard Ellis represented the landlord, Clay Development and Construction. Goodyear is the first tenant to sign at the new 140,000-square-foot project, which contains office and distribution/warehouse space.
PORTLAND, ORE. — LG Electronics USA has leased 80,000 square feet of industrial space at Rivergate Corporate Center I in Portland. The value of the lease was not disclosed. Andrew Harnish of Jones Lang LaSalle represented the tenant; Evan Bernstein, Dave Ellis and John Fettig of Capacity Commercial Group represented the landlord, MEPT Rivergate, in the transaction.
