BUFFALO GROVE, ILL. — HSA Commercial Real Estate has arranged the sale of a 19,598-square-foot industrial facility, located at 801 Asbury Dr. in Buffalo Grove. The seller, Rasco LLC, was represented by HSA’s Tim Thompson and Paul Broderick. The property was acquired for an undisclosed amount from a private investor group.

LACEY, WASH. — First Industrial Real Trust has completed three distribution centers within First Park Meridian Campus, a 45-acre industrial park located at 9107-9225 Polaris Lane in Lacey. The buildings comprise two 130,500-square-foot distribution centers and one 198,000-square-foot bulk distribution center. All can accommodate a single- or multi-tenant occupancy. First Park Meridian Campus is a six-building, 780,350-square-foot industrial park. All of the buildings are designed to achieve LEED-Gold certification. Sustainable features include energy-efficient lighting and skylights, which come standard in every building. Other features include reflective roofing materials, low-flow fixtures, permeable surface materials, water-efficient irrigation systems, and preferred parking for carpoolers and hybrid vehicles. The project is being developed by FirstCal1, a development and repositioning joint venture between First Industrial and the California State Teachers’ Retirement System.
SPARKS, NEV. — Coral Gables, Fla.-based Thomas D. Wood & Co. has secured a total of $3.96 million in financing for the Cal Linda Freeport flex buildings, located in Sparks. A $3 million loan was secured for 50-360 Freeport Blvd. and a $965,000 loan was secured for 1080 Linda Way and 250 Cal Lane. Both loans carry a 6.5 percent fixed interest rate and a 25-year amortization schedule. Steve Wood of Thomas D. Wood & Co. secured the financing, along with Tony Castrignano of Sky-Mesa Capital. The lender was StanCorp Mortgage Investors.
ORLANDO, FLA. — Twin Med has signed a 54,250-square-foot lease renewal with GE Real Estate for space in an Orlando warehouse. Located at 2126 W. Landstreet Rd., the space will be used for the company’s recently expanded operations. William Bradford and Tom McFadden of Orlando-based Southern Commercial Real Estate Advisors represented the landlord. Twin Med was represented by Deborah Mickler and Forrest Askew of Colliers Arnold’s Orlando office.
SHAKOPEE AND MINNETONKA, MINN. — NAI Welsh has arranged two industrial leases for tenants in the Minneapolis/St. Paul market. In Shakopee, Brad Bohlman of NAI Welsh represented COKeM International in securing a 5-year, 157,644-square-foot lease for space at 3880 4th Ave. Bill Ritter of NAI Welsh negotiated the transaction on behalf of the landlord, DCT MN Valley LLC. In Minnetonka, GA Communications, an Atlanta-based marketing and advertising agency, has leased 14,730 square feet of office/warehouse space at Baker Technology Center. NAI Welsh’s Jeff Jiovanazzo and Judd Welliver represented the tenant in the lease agreement. Baker Technology Center is located at 5909 Baker Rd. in Minnetonka.
KANSAS CITY, KAN. — Grubb & Ellis|The Winbury Group has completed the sale of 194,500 square feet of industrial space located at 900 S. 68th St. in Kansas City. Douglas Hedrick and Robert Galamba of Grubb & Ellis represented the undisclosed seller in the transaction. Also in Kansas City, Hedrick and John Delzer negotiated a 41,460-square-foot industrial sale on behalf of the seller, JAMI Inc. The property is located at 1642 Crystal Ave.
FARMERVILLE, LA. — Pilgrim’s Pride Corp. has agreed to sell its Farmerville chicken complex to Foster Farms for $80 million. The sale, which is expected to close in 30 days, is subject to a price adjustment for inventory and a $40 million contribution from the state of Louisiana. The property includes a processing facility, a cook plant and a protein-conversion plant. Sale of the complex was prompted by Pilgrim’s Pride Co.’s bankruptcy filing last December.
DORAVILLE, GA. — The Beltmann Group, a moving services company, has signed a lease renewal with American Realty Advisors for 96,160 square feet of industrial space. The property is located at 7030 Buford Highway in Doraville. With 1 year still left on its lease, the company decided to make a new commitment in order to take advantage of the current market. A tenant improvement allowance was included in the new deal. John Crawford and Ray Dankberg of Grubb & Ellis Co.’s Atlanta office brokered the deal.
INDIANAPOLIS — Indianapolis-based NAI Olympia Partners has arranged the leasing of 166,400 square feet of industrial space within Indianapolis’ Park 100 Industrial Park. Criss Horton of NAI represented the tenant, Piper Logistics. The landlord, ProLogis Trust, was represented in-house by Elizabeth Kauchak and by Luke Wessel of Colliers Turley Martin Tucker. Terms of the lease were not disclosed.
LINCOLNSHIRE, ILL. — CB Richard Ellis (CBRE) has negotiated a lease for an industrial building currently under construction at 610 Schelter Rd. in Lincolnshire. Upon completion, the 98,735-square-foot facility will feature 30-foot clear ceiling heights, six interior docks, 12,000 square feet of office space and 143 car parking spaces. Star Creations will occupy the entire building for a 7.5-year term. The company will relocate from its current facility in Wheeling, Ill., once the new facility is complete in August. CBRE’s Keith Puritz, Brett Kroner, Ryan Bain and Zach Graham represented the landlord, Panattoni. Bill Mass of Mass Realty represented the tenant.
