LAS VEGAS — Staples Contract & Commercial Inc. has signed a lease for a 37,500-square-foot industrial property in Las Vegas. The property is located within Beltway Business Park at 6975 S. Decatur Blvd., Building 6, Ste. 190. The lease is valued at $1.5 million. Dan Doherty, Patti Dillion and Ben Campbell of Colliers International – Las Vegas, along with David Ginther of Fischer & Co., represented the lessee; Rod Martin of Majestic Realty Co. represented the lessor, Beltway Business Park Warehouse 3 LLC, in the transaction.

ORLANDO, FLA. — Kauffman Tire has signed a 50,400-square-foot, 2-year lease extension for space in the Presidents V Building. The warehouse is located at 7482 Presidents Dr. in Orlando. Anne Huntington of CB Richard Ellis’ Dallas office and David Murphy of the firm’s Orlando office represented the tenant. Erik W. Schwetje of CB Richard Ellis’ Orlando office represented the landlord.

WAUKEGAN AND ELGIN, ILL. — Lee & Associates of Illinois has brokered two Chicagoland industrial leases. In Waukegan, Trifinity Partners signed a lease for 130,156 square feet of industrial space located at 3731 Sunset Ave. Mike Prost and Sergio Chapa of Lee & Associates represented the landlord, ING Clarion Partners. The tenant was represented by Patrick Shannon of Darwin Realty & Development Corp. In Elgin, Lee’s John Sharpe and Steve Bass represented Premier Transportation Warehouse in the leasing of 81,050 square feet of industrial space located at 1675 Holmes Rd. The landlord, Manulife Financial, was represented by Dan Benassi and Dan Jones of Entre Commercial. Terms of both leases were not disclosed.

HOUSTON — NAI Houston has brokered the purchase of a newly constructed, 50,740-square-foot industrial building located at 8550 Telephone Rd. in Houston. NAI’s Chris Caudill and Joel Michael represented the buyer, Metal Works Properties. The seller, Cerda Corp., was represented by Stuart Rosen of Greater Houston Commercial Properties. The acquisition price was not disclosed.

JESSUP, MD. — Vienna, Va.-based Feld Entertainment has leased 74,430 square feet of space and renewed its lease of 142,098 square feet in two Jessup warehouses. The firm, which produces entertainment such as Disney on Ice and Disney Live!, now occupies 8230 and 8241 Sandy Court. The two properties will house Feld’s distribution and merchandise storage operations. Paul Schweitzer and Stuart Diamond of Studley’s McLean, Va., office represented the tenant in the transaction.

MOUNT PLEASANT, TEXAS — Philadelphia-based Binswanger has brokered the sale of a 162,290-square-foot industrial building, located at 1106 Industrial Blvd. in Mount Pleasant. The facility includes up to 27-foot clear ceiling heights, truck loading capability and rail access. Binswanger represented the seller, Mastercraft. The buyer, Pace Shave, plans to use the facility as a regional distribution center. The acquisition price was not disclosed.

COMMERCE, CALIF. — ACCO Engineering Systems has purchased a 150,000-square-foot industrial property, which is located at 6446 E. Washington Blvd. in Commerce. Joseph T. Ryerson & Son Inc. sold the property for $15 million. Paul Sablock, Greg Matter, Barry Hill and Zac Sakowski of Jones Lang LaSalle represented the buyer; Jack Whalen of McKinney Travers represented the seller in the transaction.

NEW YORK CITY — Kalmon Dolgin Affiliates (KDA) has completed the $1.2 million sale of 180-02 Eastgate Plaza, a one-story, 7,000-square-foot commercial property located in the Springfield Gardens neighborhood of Queens, New York City. The facility includes 4,000 square feet of office space, 3,000 square feet of warehouse space, along with a drive-in door and an additional 3,500 square feet of parking. Dmitri Gourianov of KDA represented both the buyer, TNT Construction, and the seller, Eastgate Plaza LLC, in the transaction. Financing for the acquisition was provided by Community National Bank through an SBA loan.
