MOORPARK, CALIF. — M. W. Ossola & Associates Inc. has developed Patriot Commerce Center, a 300,000-square-foot Class A business park in Moorpark. The seven-building first phase includes 22,000 square feet of office/medical space, and approximately 140,000 square feet of industrial/R&D space. The completed project will offer 66,000 square feet of office/medical space and 240,000 square feet of industrial/R&D space. The project offers condominiums and buildings ranging in size from 734 to 21,676 square feet. RCI Builders served as general contractor; Polliquin-Kellog provided architectural services for the project.

CINCINNATI — Duke Realty Corp. has leased 354,371 square feet of warehouse/distribution space to GENCO Supply Chain Solutions, North America’s second-largest third-party logistics provider. The tenant is scheduled to occupy space within Duke’s 473,000-square-foot Skyport 3 building, which is located at 2255 Progressive Dr. in Hebron, a Northern Kentucky submarket of Cincinnati. Skyport 3 is situated just off of Interstate 275, with immediate access to Interstates 71, 74 and 75, as well as the Greater Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport. BOLINGBROOK, ILL. — Morgan/Harbour Construction Co. has begun construction of an interior build-out for the new 150,249-square-foot headquarters for Saratoga Food Specialties within the 269,662-square-foot Crossroads Lakes I. The facility is located at 771 W. Crossroads Pkwy. in Bolingbrook. Saratoga, which is a manufacturer of spices and food flavorings, is relocating into the new space along the Interstate 55 corridor as it consolidates from several area facilities. The interior construction includes 20,000 square feet in corporate offices, R&D space, a common culinary area and locker room facilities. The warehouse component will feature 30-foot clear ceiling heights, a climate-controlled manufacturing and blending area, and a plant dedicated to testing new products. Saratoga will take occupancy this summer. The building developer is Corum Real Estate Group.
DAYTON, N.J. — Chicago-based UGL Equis has negotiated Agfa’s renewal of 172,430 square feet of warehouse space, located at 400 Heller Park Ct. in Dayton. The building is situated near the New Jersey Turnpike. It marks the second time that the analog and digital imaging company has renewed its lease for this location. Peter Yannotta and Sam Horowitz of UGL Equis represented Agfa in lease negotiations. The pair also represented Agfa in its first lease renewal. Jeffrey Milanaik provided in-house representation for the landlord, Edison, N.J.-based Heller Industrial Parks. Terms of the lease were not disclosed.
HOUSTON — Sandvik has signed a lease for 80,000 square feet of flex space located within Cole Creek Business Park at 8618 W. Little York Rd. in Houston. The company will consolidate two of its existing locations into the new facility, which will house the company’s Material Technology Tube Products Southeast regional sales office and warehouse. The new lease represents an approximately 30,000-square-foot expansion from the division’s former locations. Faron Wiley of CB Richard Ellis represented the landlord, Cole Creek Industrial Associates LP. The tenant was represented by Blake Kendrick of Stream Realty Partners. Cole Creek Business Park is a 90-acre, master-planned business park that contains more than 1 million square feet of single- and multi-tenant industrial space. Cole Creek Industrial Associates is a partnership between ING Clarion Partners and Dallas-based Trammell Crow Co.
HOFFMAN ESTATES, ILL. — McHenry, Ill.-based Dixon Construction Group has broken ground for the construction of a new 32,916-square-foot facility for Big Kaiser Precision Tool in Hoffman Estates. The new building will be located on a 2.95-acre site at 2600 Huntington Blvd. within the 70-acre Huntington Corporate Center. It will feature approximately 14,000 square feet of administrative offices, approximately 10,000 square feet of warehouse space, an auditorium-style training facility and a 5,000-square-foot showroom. Big Kaiser plans to relocate to the new space from its current location in Elk Grove Village, Ill., by the fourth quarter of this year. Theresa Gleason of Chicago-based Paine/Wetzel • ONCOR International and Mike Gazzola of Dixon Cos., the parent company of Dixon Construction, represented Big Kaiser in the land purchase for the new facility. The seller and developer of Huntington Corporate Center, McShane Development Co., negotiated the deal in-house.
JENKINS TOWNSHIP, PA. — Mericle Commercial Real Estate Services has leased a newly constructed, speculative industrial building located in Jenkins Township in Pennsylvania’s Scranton/Wilkes-Barre area. Safelite AutoGlass will occupy the 44,800-square-foot facility, which is situated on 5 acres within CenterPoint Commerce & Trade Park. The facility was built by Mericle and was completed in February. It will serve as one of Safelite’s largest warehouses in the United States. Joseph McDermott and Vincent Ranalli of CB Richard Ellis represented the tenants. Mericle, which is also the developer of CenterPoint Commerce & Trade Park, was represented in-house by Jim Hilsher. Terms of the lease were not disclosed.
CARROLLTON, TEXAS — Ken Wesson of Lee & Associates, DFW has represented Metal Link, Inc. in an industrial lease transaction for 68,000 square feet at 13950 Senlac in Carrollton. Scott Moore with Holt Lunsford Commercial’s Dallas office represented the landlord, The Realty Associates Fund IV, LP.
WASHINGTON, D.C. — Bethesda, Md.-based Stanley Martin Commercial has completed a 70,000-square-foot facility for DHL Express USA, which will house the company’s Washington, D.C., Virginia and Maryland operations. The property is located at 3130 V St. N.E. in Washington. Nearly 60 full-time jobs have been created to initially staff the facility, with additional employees expected to be hired in the next few months.
ROMEOVILLE, ILL. — Denver-based ProLogis has leased 215,000 square feet of distribution space within ProLogis Park 55 in Romeoville. Sanyo Logistics Corp., a division of Sanyo Electric Co., will occupy the space within the Class A park. This marks the seventh lease agreement between Sanyo and ProLogis. The electronics company leases approximately 2 million square feet of space at ProLogis distribution facilities in Southern California, Chicago and Japan. ProLogis Park 55 is a six-building, approximately 3.1 million-square-foot A industrial park located along Interstate 55, between Weber Road and Route 53, in Romeoville. Other tenants include Kimberly-Clark, APL Logistics and Procter & Gamble.
