LOGAN, PA. — Reno, Nev.-based developer DP Partners has signed a long-term lease with Long Beach, Calif.-based Brighton-Best International for 106,655 square feet at LogistiCenter at Logan, a 1,000-acre, rail-served industrial park located in Logan. Brighton-Best will occupy a portion of Building K, a 365,760-square-foot, cross-docked distribution center located at 2100 Center Square Rd. Building K features 32-foot clear ceiling heights, 60-foot by 60-foot bay spacing, 96 truck dock positions, four drive-in doors, ESFR sprinkler systems, and parking for 88 trailers and 235 cars. The facility was completed this past summer; Malvern, Pa.-based Cathers & Associates served as project architect and locally based Marathon Engineers served as civil engineer. Terms of the lease were not disclosed. Brighton-Best International is an affiliate of Taiwan-based Ta Chen International.

OCALA, FLA. — Construction is nearly complete on Edwards Construction Services’ 42,000-square-foot CarQuest Distribution Center expansion. Upgrades to the property, located at 1700 S.W. 38th Ave. in Ocala, include relocation of existing tilt-wall panels, structural steel roof framing, installing interior heating and lighting and erecting new tilt-wall panels. The $1.8 million project was designed by Atlanta-based MacGregor Associates Architects.
LA VISTA, NEB. — Grubb & Ellis|Pacific Realty has arranged the sale of 23 acres located at 121st and Centennial roads within the Papio Valley 2 Business Park in La Vista. Waldinger Corp., which acquired the property for $1.49 million, has plans to construct an 80,000-square foot office and manufacturing facility at the site. Michael Mellen of Grubb & Ellis|Pacific Realty represented the buyer; Jack Degan of NAI/NP Dodge represented the undisclosed seller in the transaction.
ELIZABETH, NEWARK AND JERSEY CITY, N.J. — Princeton, N.J.-based KSS Architects has completed the design for two New Jersey industrial projects for AMB Property Corp. and was selected to design a third. The first completed project is AMB Portview Commerce Center, a three-property, approximately 355,000-square-foot industrial park located in Elizabeth. Situated on 19 acres, the project is being developed by a joint venture between AMB and Portview Properties. It will feature three Class A distribution centers; two of the buildings will have 30-foot clear ceiling heights and the third will have 24-foot heights. Building 1, a 144,000-square-foot distribution center located at 700 Dowd Ave., was completed in spring of this year and is almost fully leased. The second completed project is AMB Liberty Logistics Center, a 191,000-square-foot, Class A distribution center located in Newark near Newark Liberty International Airport. Construction will include the remediation of the 9-acre site of a former pharmaceutical plant. The new facility will feature a 280-foot building depth, 52-foot by 52-foot column spacing, 36-foot clear ceiling heights, 32 loading docks, two drive-in ramps, a 120-foot truck court, 33 trailer spaces and 130 car parking spaces. ORLANDO, FLA. — Columbus, Ohio-based Parkline Holding Co. has purchased an 81,750-square-foot industrial building from McCraney ORL-Parkline for $11.25 million. Spread across 6.61 acres at South Orange Avenue and Parkline Boulevard in Orlando, the building also comes with an attached 5.39-acre parcel. Parkline was represented by George Livingston and Christie Alexander of NAI Realvest. David Murphy of CB Richard Ellis represented the West Palm Beach, Fla.-based seller.
CARY, ILL. — Darwin Realty & Development Corp. has brokered the sale of a freestanding facility within the Three Oaks Industrial Park, which is located off Route 14 in Cary. The 1175 Alexander Court building was 100 percent leased at the time of the sale. The 45,000-square-foot facility, which is divided into two units, features 24-foot clear-height ceilings, four loading docks and a 4,000-square-foot office component. CenterPoint Properties has sold the building to Component Management Group; the asking price was $3 million. ST. LOUIS — Colliers Turley Martin Tucker has brokered two St. Louis industrial transactions totaling more than 720,000 square feet. Ed Lampitt and Brandon Duncan of Colliers Turley Martin Tucker — St. Louis has arranged the acquisition of 402,192 square feet of industrial space located at West 70 Commerce Center. Three T’s Partnership has acquired the property from SFT Venture for an undisclosed amount. Also in the St. Louis office, Mike Hanrahan, Paul Hilton, Keith Schneider and Mike Statter represented Principal Financial Group in the sale of 319,800 square feet of industrial space. The property, which is located at 3750-3780 Rider Trail, was acquired by SP Investment Group for an undisclosed amount.
CHINO, CALIF. — American Landscape has acquired an 18,698-square-foot multi-tenant industrial facility, which is located at 15090 La Palma in Chino. The transaction was valued at approximately $2.3 million. The buyer plans to use the facility for a landscaping contracting services business.
