GRAND RAPIDS, MICH. — The Wisinski Group has brokered two industrial transactions totaling more than 460,000 square feet in Grand Rapids. Padnos Iron and Metal has acquired a 454,000-square-foot industrial facility located at 500 44th St. SW in Grand Rapids. New West Michigan II Industrial Investors LLC sold the property for an undisclosed amount. Stu Kingma of The Wisinski Group represented both parties in the transaction. Additionally, Penny Land Co. LLC has purchased a 7,404-square-foot industrial building located at 1250 Randolph in Grand Rapids. Bell Equipment Co. sold the facility for an undisclosed amount. Larry Smith of The Wisinski Group represented the seller; Pete Termaat of Termaat McGregor represented the buyer in the transaction.

CHEEKTOWAGA, N.Y. — Boston-based STAG Capital Partners has acquired a 121,760-square-foot industrial property in Cheektowaga. Situated on 8.47 acres at 60 Industrial Pkwy., the facility is occupied by two tenants, The Mentholatum Company and UPS Supply Chain Solutions. The seller was 60 IP LLC, which disposed of the property for an undisclosed amount.
ALISO VIEJO, CALIF. — Astronic Inc., an electronic manufacturing service producer, has purchased a 73,742-square-foot industrial building in Aliso Viejo. Japan-based Tamiya America Inc. sold the property, which is located at 2 Orion, for $13.2 million. Astronic plans to use the building as its corporate headquarters. Jeff Mitchell of Voit Commercial represented the buyer; Gary Allen of Grubb & Ellis’ Newport Beach, Calif., office and Yasushi Shiromi of the firm’s L.A. South Bay office represented the seller in the transaction.
KENNESAW, GA. — Chicago-based First Industrial Realty Trust has leased 182,000 square feet of warehouse space in a 587,00-square-foot facility to Atlanta Bonded Warehouse Corporation. Located at 7060 Battle Dr. in Kennesaw, the property features 62 dock doors with hydraulic levers, 30-foot clear ceilings and full air conditioning. David Nixon and Chad Burd of CB Richard Ellis’s Atlanta office and Jack Haden of Atlanta-based NAI Brannen Goddard assisted with the transaction. Terms of the lease were not announced.
INDIAN TRAIL, N.C. — Trinity Capital Advisors has sold the 45,320-square-foot PODS Building, located at 7171 Stinson Hartis Rd. in the Old Hickory Business Park in Indian Trail, to Durham, N.C.-based LFC CFP I for $3.2 million. Portable Storage Systems occupies 100 percent of the property. Pickett-Sprouse Real Estate’s Vernon Averett represented the buyer, and the seller was represented by Trinity Partners.
MCCOOK, ILL. — Premier Design + Build recently completed construction of the 41,239-square-foot building expansion of the FedEx Ground Package System facility, which is located in McCook. Scannell Properties, as the owner of the facility, selected Premier Design + Build for the project. The addition features 12 dock doors, two drive-in-doors, heavy-duty interior trench drains and a 1,800-square-foot remote office product to service the extension of FedEx’s fully automated package conveying system. Also, site improvements made to the property include expansion of the employee parking area as well as construction of more than 5 acres of trailer parking and staging area. The site improvements were completed in February. Precept Design LLC acted as architect for the project.
WESTBORO, MASS. — Integrated Builders has completed construction of a 4,300-square-foot clean room for GE Healthcare Bioscience at 14 Walkup Dr. in Westboro. The Class 10,000 clean room was built within the existing space GE occupies at the property. Providence, R.I.-based Vision III Architects provided design services.
VERNON, CALIF. — First Industrial Realty Trust has acquired a 205,000-square-foot industrial facility located at 6250 Boyle in Vernon. Situated within the Central Los Angeles submarket, the property features access to interstates as well as two railroad intermodal yards. First Industrial acquired the building through its Development and Repositioning Joint Venture (FirstCal 1) with the California State Teachers’ Retirement System. First Industrial plans to reposition the unoccupied portion of the building to accommodate a single-tenant or multiple users. The acquisition price was not disclosed.
NAPLES, FLA. — Naples-based Lund Capital Group has sold a 252,422-square-foot industrial portfolio, located across from the Naples Municipal Airport in Naples, to Miami-based The Adler Group for $31 million. The portfolio consists of the seven-building, 189,523-square-foot Collier Park of Commerce and the four-building, 62,899-square-foot Commerce Center. Sale of the property, which is 96 percent occupied, was brokered by Mike Davis, Rick Brugge, Gary Tasman and Brandon Stoneburner of Cushman & Wakefield.
ADDISON, TEXAS — Lee & Associates has completed the sale of an 11,900-square-foot industrial building located at 15481 Addison Rd. in Addison. Nathan Denton and Hanes Chatham of Lee & Associates’ Dallas/Fort Worth office negotiated the transaction between the seller, Wagley Trust, and the buyer, Victory Jet Assignment. The buyer plans to operate the building as a hangar for personal and business aircraft. The purchase price was not disclosed.
