MILFORD, CONN. — Cushman & Wakefield has brokered three new leases, totaling 48,525 square feet, at Crown Corporate Campus, located at 470, 472, 476, 478 and 488 Wheelers Farm Road in Milford. SurgiQuest Inc., a surgical device company, leased 40,542 square feet at 488 Wheeler Farm Road; The Berry Company, a provider of local online, search, video and directory solutions, leased 7,781 square feet at 488 Wheelers Farm Road; and Boys & Girls Village, a nonprofit agency specializing in children with special educational needs, children in crisis or children with learning difficulties, leased 2,002 square feet at 472 Wheelers Farm Road. Situated on 47 acres, Crown Corporate Campus is a five-building, 425,000-square-foot office campus. Kevin Foley, Mike Dillon and Will Mercorella of Cushman & Wakefield represented the landlord, Crown Milford LLC, a division of Crown Properties, in the three deals. BOSTON — Boston-headquartered Sperry Van Ness International Corp. has changed its signature brand name to SVN. The Sperry Van Ness brand was launched in 1987 and became a national franchise operation in 2003. This year, SVN has added 25 offices nationally and internationally, bringing the company’s portfolio to more than 1,400 advisors and staff in nearly 200 offices worldwide. The SVN brand name and new logo will roll out globally over the next 12 to 18 months.

VOORHEES, N.J. —Comcast Corp. has expanded its lease at Voorhees Technology Center, located at 401 White Horse Road in Voorhees, by 42,000 square feet. This expansion brings the company’s footprint to more than 150,000 square feet at the 215,000-square-foot building. Brian Sherlock and Evan Zweben of Colliers International represented the landlord, while Marc Policarpo and Bob Corr of Binswanger represented Comcast in the transaction.

LONG BEACH, CALIF. — A joint venture between Ocean West Capital Partners and Singerman Real Estate has acquired a 210,281-square-foot office complex in Long Beach for $35.2 million. The complex is located at 100 West Broadway Ave. within the Central Business and Pine Avenue entertainment districts. The two-tower, six-story property is currently 70.2 percent occupied.  Major tenants include the City of Long Beach, Echo Global and Mental Health Association of America, as well as the newly renovated King’s Fish House and George’s Greek Café on the ground floor. CBRE’s Kevin Shannon, Brad Burton and Ken White represented the seller, Adler Realty Investments, in this transaction.

Lakeshore Business Center Fort Lauderdale

FORT LAUDERDALE, FLA. — Morning Calm Management and joint venture partner Blue Vista Capital Management have purchased Lakeshore Business Center, a four-building, 234,954-square-foot office complex in Fort Lauderdale, for $18.1 million. The office campus is located at 5100 and 5200 N.W. 33rd Ave. and 3201 and 3125 Commercial Blvd. in Fort Lauderdale’s Commercial Boulevard submarket. The joint venture purchased the development from NTS. The campus was 53 percent leased at the time of sale to tenants such as Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, ECI Telecom and Evolis.

ELM GROVE, WIS. — Siegel-Gallagher has arranged a 3,255-square-foot office lease renewal in Elm Grove, a western suburb of Milwaukee. Jensen Health & Energy Center will continue to occupy space in The Tradesman Building, located at 500 Elm Grove Road. Building Trades United Pensions Trust Fund is the landlord. TUCSON, ARIZ. — Sunquest Information Systems has purchased the 83,000-square-foot former Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA) building in Tucson. The price was not disclosed. The building is located at 3300 E. Sunrise Drive. The company plans to relocate to the new space, which will allow for future growth. AUSTIN, TEXAS — Accesso Partners has acquired 7700 Parmer Lane, a 913,000-square-foot, 94 percent leased technology office campus in northwest Austin. The property is leased to Google, Oracle, eBay/Pay Pal, Electronic Arts, Polycom and Dun & Bradstreet. The 129-acre, four-building office complex is the second Austin acquisition in the last five months by the Hallandale Beach, Fla.-based real estate investment firm. There are two vacancies in the complex, a 31,436-square-foot space adjacent to Oracle in Guilding B, and 23,693-square-foot space in Building C adjacent next to Electronic Arts. Additionally, there is a value-add opportunity to develop a fifth office building within the campus footprint. Michael McDonald of Eastdil Secured’s Atlanta office represented the seller and procured Accesso Partners. The amenities at 7700 Parmer include an auditorium, full-service cafeteria, baseball field, basketball courts, soccer field, volleyball court and a day care service. Susan Hill of HFF’s Houston office arranged acquisition financing on behalf of Accesso Partners.

FORT WORTH, TEXAS — Teague Nall & Perkins (TNP), a professional civil engineering, surveying, and landscape architecture firm, will move into the Mercantile Center located at 5237 N. Riverside Drive in Fort Worth. TNP has signed a 42,071-square-foot lease at the office building that will bear its name and will serve as its new corporate headquarters. The company’s corporate office is currently located on Macon Street in downtown Fort Worth. Andrew Ward of Mercantile Partners represented the landlord internally in the transaction, while David Walters of CBRE’s Fort Worth office represented TNP in the site search and lease negotiations.

The nine-story building will be renovated to accommodate modern workplace demands, including the addition of amenities, interior and exterior upgrades, and to qualify for LEED certification. Overlooking Plymouth Meeting Mall, the office building has walkable access to various of restaurants and retail venues as well as an AMC movie theater.
