PLEASANTON, CALIF. — MIG Real Estate has purchased the Britannia Business Center in Pleasanton for an undisclosed sum. The 135,210-square-foot center is located in the Hacienda Business Park, which consists of Class A office and R&D buildings. This is MIG’s first Bay Area acquisition. The company plans to invest up to $600 million throughout the year on office, retail, hotel and multifamily properties located in the West’s major markets. MIG represented itself in this transaction, while HFF’s Steve Golubchik, Michael Leggett, David Karol and Gerry Rohm represented the seller.

ESCONDIDO, CALIF. –The 28,774-square-foot Mission Office Park in Escondido has sold to Pacifica Enterprises (PEI) for an undisclosed sum. The park is located at 504-508 W. Mission Ave. and was 48 percent leased at the time of sale. Edward Indvik of Lee & Associates-Investment Services Group, along with Rusty Williams and Kyle Bowlsby of the firm’s Carlsbad office, represented both the buyer and the seller in this transaction.
MASON, OHIO — Top Gun Sales Performance has purchased a new headquarters building in Mason for $3.6 million to expand its operations. The global sales support organization will relocate to 5155 Financial Way, a 67,000-square-foot building. Andrew Kahn of NAI Bergman represented Top Gun in the deal. Bill Poffenberger of Jones Lang LaSalle represented the seller, Fortis Properties.
BURLINGTON, MASS. — Dyax Corp. has opened its new corporate headquarters at 55 Network Dr. in Burlington. Dyax moved from 300 Technology Square in Cambridge, and is Burlington's first biopharmaceutical company. The 45,000-square-foot facility includes laboratory, office and conference space. Jones Lang LaSalle served as the construction manager for the interior build-out.
HOUSTON — CEF Funding, a Delaware limited liability company, has retained Houston-based Moody Rambin as the exclusive property management and leasing agent for a three-building office portfolio, located at 16840 and 16850 Buccaneer Ln. and 1045 Gemini St. in Houston. The portfolio includes approximately 80,000 square feet of Class B office space and 50,000 square feet of research and development space. Rob Chandler of Moody Rambin will represent the seller in the disposition of the Class B building, Walter Cameron will oversee the building's property management and Derek Beck and Jeff Barbles will handle the property's leasing.
NEW YORK CITY — Havas has leased 260,000 square feet from Trinity Real Estate in a deal what will create a two-building campus for the firm at 200 and 205 Hudson St. The advertising firm will occupy 225,000 square feet on the 2nd and 8th floors at 200 Hudson St. as well as 31,000 square feet on the 9th floor of the adjacent building. Jason Pizer, Marc Packman, Robert Constable and Andrew Peretz of Cushman & Wakefield represented Trinity in the 15-year lease transaction. David Falk and Jason Greenstein of Newmark Knight Frank represented the tenant.
NEW YORK CITY — Marcus & Millichap Real Estate Investment Services has arranged the $2.3 million sale of 580-586 E. 22nd St., a 20-unit apartment building in Brooklyn. Shaun Riney and Derek Bestreich of the Brooklyn office of Marcus & Millichap represented the seller, a limited liability company. They also secured the buyer, a private investor.
LYNDHURST, N.J. —Aeropostale has moved to 125 Chubb Way in Lyndhurst, having signed a 68,949-square-foot lease at the property. The teen apparel retailer relocated its regional operations from Wayne, N.J. Aeropostale joins other blue-chip tenants such as Barnes & Noble and Knowledgepoint360 Group. Remy deVarenne, Sarah Jones, Amanda Bokmon and Richard Carson of CBRE represented Aeropostale in the deal. John Barnes and Clark Briffel of SL Green Realty Corp., along with Greg Barkan of CBRE, represented the building owner.
SAN ANTONIO — The 170,000-square-foot KCI Tower, an office tower located at 8023 Vantage Dr. in San Antonio, has been sold. Todd Gold of NAI REOC San Antonio represented the buyer, Callaghan Tower Ltd., in the transaction. The seller was Greenville, S.C.-based TIC Properties.
BRIDGEWATER, N.J. — Synchronoss Technologies has relocated its corporate headquarters to Bridgewater Office Park, located at 200 Crossing Blvd. in Bridgewater. The technology company will occupy 80,000 square feet on the seventh and eighth floors of the building. Allan Greene of UGL Services' Iselin, N.J. office and Tadd Wisinski of the firm's New York office represented the tenant in the transaction.
