IRVING — Dallas-based NAI Robert Lynn has brokered a 54,047-square-foot lease for office/warehouse space, located at 2205 E. Pioneer Dr. in Irving. Robert Blankenship and Jim Svidron of NAI Robert Lynn represented the tenant, Arbor Commercial Carpet, in the lease transaction. Chris Bly with Proterra Properties' Arlington office represented the landlord, Dallas Southern Distributors.

SAN JOSE, CALIF. — Flextronics International USA has leased 130,455 square feet of Class A office space at the new America Center campus in North San Jose. This will allow the electronics manufacturing services provider to expand its U.S. headquarters, which is currently based in nearby Milpitas. The firm will occupy more than half of the six-story, 213,800-square-foot building, which is located at 6201 America Center Drive. Flextronics was represented by Dan Hollingsworth, Tom McGovern, Steve Pace and Karen Sigl with Cassidy Turley in this transaction.
SHERMAN OAKS, CALIF. – An office building commonly known as the “Wallace Library” along the Ventura Boulevard corridor in Sherman Oaks has been leased by a private record label. The 2,500-square-foot boutique office building is located at 15464 Ventura Blvd. It is named after Randall Wallace, a legendary producer and director who worked on “Braveheart,” “We Were Soldiers” and “Secretariat.” Wallace, the trustee of the Randall Wallace Family Trust, was represented by Ash Joshi of Capital Realty Solutions in this lease transaction.
ATLANTA — Atlanta-based Cousins Properties has plans to repurpose 170,000 square feet of office space into data center space at the 1 million-square-foot American Cancer Society Center, located at 250 Williams St. in Atlanta. Cousins has entered into a relationship with Colliers Technology Solutions to lease the space. John Portman & Associates designed the building, which was the headquarters for the 1996 Olympic Games.
MAITLAND, FLA. — ActivEngage has signed a 30,000-square-foot lease at Maitland West II, located at 2701 Maitland Center Pkwy. in Maitland. Tiffany Zullo of Maitland-based Tower Realty Partners represented the landlord in the lease transaction. The tenant was self-represented.
BOSTON — Genzyme Corp., a biotechnology company, has signed an 82,490-square-foot lease renewal at 55 Cambridge Pkwy. in Boston. 55 Cambridge is a 275,000-square-foot, Class A office building, located on the Charles River. Joe Fallon of Cassidy Turley FHO represented the tenant in the transaction. John Miller of Lincoln Property Group represented the landlord, Invesco.
HOUSTON — R. Hassell has sold an 11,760-square-foot office building, located at 3550 Willowbend in Houston, to Omricron Electronics Corp. Lang Motes and Jane Holloway of ICO Commercial's Houston office represented the seller in the transaction. Noah Kruger and Andy Iverson of Jackson Cooksey's Houston office represented the buyer.
LEE BRANCH, ALA. — Birmingham, Ala.-based Church of the Highlands has purchased a 50,750-square-foot office building, located at 1701 Lee Branch Ln. in Lee Branch, from BBVA Compass for $4 million. The property was formerly the headquarters of AIG Baker Shopping Center Properties. Dan Lovell, Walter Brown and Sam Carroll of Graham & Co.'s Birmingham office represented the seller in the transaction.
STERLING HEIGHTS, MICH. — BAE Systems has opened a new $58 million office campus in Sterling Heights. The four-story office building houses 600 engineers, program managers and support staff. Construction began on the 164,000-square-foot building in February 2009 after the company acquired the site of the former TRW Automotive Holdings Corp. The office complex will serve as the engineering and development site for military ground vehicles. Detroit-based Walbridge was the general contractor for the project.
BRAINTREE, MASS. — Sentient Jet, a charter company, has signed a long-term lease for 20,783 square feet of office space at Braintree Executive Park in Braintree. Sentient is moving from 97 Libbey Parkway in Weymouth, Mass. and occupancy is scheduled for July 1. The company will occupy the entire fourth floor of 100 Grossman Dr., which will serve as its world headquarters. Tom Kent and Sean Lynch of the Boston office of Jones Lang LaSalle represented the owners, The Grossman Cos. and Dinosaur Capital Partners, in the transaction. They also represented the tenant.
