NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. — Mt. Pleasant, S.C.-based Ziff Properties has completed the disposition of Corporate Square II, which is located at 4925 LaCross Road in North Charleston. Real Estate Value Advisors purchased the 32,656-square-foot office building for an undisclosed price. The property is currently 93 percent occupied by tenants, including Leschaco Inc., Hearst Communications, Sentry Management and Family Services. MORRIS TOWNSHIP, N.J. — ProSight Specialty Insurance has signed a 10-year lease for 40,310 square feet within 412 Mt. Kemble Avenue, a 474,100-square-foot office property located in Morris Township. The space will serve as the firm's new headquarters. The Jones Lang LaSalle team of Thomas Reilly and Derek DeMartino represented the tenant in lease negotiations. BURLINGTON, MASS. — NAI Hunneman has brokered the sublease of 37,207 square feet of office space at One Wall Street, a 192,000-square-foot, Class A building located in Burlington. DynamicOps will be subleasing the entire second floor of the building from Openwave Systems. NAI Hunneman's Suburban Leasing Group represented the sub-landlord in negotiations. Colliers International represented the sub-tenant.
ATLANTA — Atlanta Property Group (APG) has acquired the Druid Chase Building in Atlanta. Located at 2801 Buford Highway, the six-story building offers 113,820 square feet of office space. The property was 78 percent occupied at the time of closing. The buyer plans to renovate the property, including upgrades to the lobbies, corridors, restrooms and building systems, this spring. APG has partnered with Lavista Associates to lease the building, which will be managed by Lincoln Property Co.
CHAMPIONSGATE, FLA. — Rosemont Realty has completed the disposition of ChampionsGate, an office building located at 8390 ChampionsGate Blvd. in ChampionsGate. The three-story, 44,605-square-foot building was acquired by Ontario, Canada-based Vista Group of Companies. The acquisition price was not disclosed. Joe Rossi and Bret Feldberg of Grubb & Ellis' Investment Group represented the seller in the transaction.
FORT WAYNE, IND. — Voss Automotive Inc. has leased 24,000 square feet at 7625 DiSalle Blvd. in Fort Wayne. Bill Cupp of CB Richard Ellis | Sturges represented the landlord, S & W Investments, in the transaction. Terms of the lease were not released.
MOUNT VERNON, N.Y. — Terranova Bakery has acquired a 26,000-square-foot office building located at 535 S. Fourth Ave. in Mountain Vernon for $1.8 million. The company plans to use the property for its back office operations. The Colliers International team of Gerard Hallock and Nick Morizio represented Terranova. PHOENIX — Cassidy Turley BRE Commercial has completed the approximately $1.23 million sale of a 17,521-square-foot office building, located at 2211 E. Highland Ave. in Phoenix. Built in 1973, the building was 67 percent leased at the time of sale. Cassidy Turley’s Mark Seale represented the hometown buyer, MRL Partners Fund I LLC, in the transaction, and the brokerage firm’s Eric Wichterman and Mike Coover represented the seller, JP Morgan Chase.
LAUREL, MD. — Northbrook, Ill.-based Syndicated Equities Group and ASA Properties/Middleton Partners has purchased an office building in Laurel. The single-story, 43,785-square-foot building is located at 7700 Montpelier Road. The property is fully occupied by Johns Hopkins University. James Wellschlager of Cassidy Turley represented the undisclosed seller; Peter Holstein of Romanek Properties represented the buyer in the transaction.
HAMPTON, N.J. — Ikaria has signed a lease for 101,641 square feet of office space at 53 Frontage Road, a 280,000-square-foot, Class A office building located in Hampton. The lease encompassed the building's entire third floor. Ikaria is relocating its Bio Therapeutics division headquarters to the space from nearby Clinton, N.J. The CB Richard Ellis team of Robert Ryan, Patricia Riedel and John Goodwin represented the landlord, an affiliate of Crown Properties.
