Cushman & Wakefield’s Marc Posthumus represented the buyer, 10805 Thornmint Road LLC, and Brian Driscoll and Brian Starck of Cassidy Turley/BRE represented the seller, Mission Federal Credit Union.

SKOKIE, ILL. — A regionally based nursing home management company has purchased a 10,000-square-foot, one-story office property in Skokie. Located at 8131 N. Monticello, the property features 12 private offices, two conference rooms and a full kitchen. The buyer plans to use the facility as its corporate office. Andrew Glatz of Crown Heights Realty represented the buyer; Josh Rosenberg of ICI Commercial represented the seller, SRF Investments, in the transaction. The asking price was $1.15 million.
MARLBOROUGH, MASS. — Spectrum Microwave is expanding and relocating its Marlborough office. The company has signed a lease for 42,832 square feet at 400 Nickerson Road within Marlborough Technology Park, and it will take occupancy in May. Spectrum Microwave was previously located at 165 Cedar Hill St., also in Marlborough. Jim Elcock, Bill Lynch and Tom O'Brien of Colliers Meredith & Grew represented the tenant in lease negotiations. Paul Leone of Richard Barry Joyce & Partners represented the landlord, Normandy Real Estate Partners. Marlborough Technology Park is a seven-building, 573,576-square-foot office campus located on Nickerson Road.
PORTLAND, ORE. — KBS REIT II has acquired the 20-story One Main Place office tower in Portland’s central business district. Comprising an entire city block bounded by Main, First, Second and Salmon streets, the 315,133-square-foot, Class A One Main Place is Portland’s 16th largest office building. Eastdil Secured’s Russ Cooper and Darwin Rodriguez represented the undisclosed seller in the transaction, and KBS Capital Advisors, an affiliate of KBS Realty Advisors, represented KBS REIT II. Originally built in 1982 and boasting an occupancy of 99 percent, One Main Place is located immediately across the street from the Federal Courthouse and a block from the Willamette River and Hawthorne Bridge.
JACKSONVILLE, FLA. — Eola Capital has sold the 60,176-square-foot Southpoint Building to David Gonzales Co. for $1.8 million. The six-story office property is located at 6620 S. Southpoint Drive in Jacksonville. Karl Johnston of Cushman & Wakefield's Jacksonville office represented the seller.
HOLLYWOOD, FLA. — Ryan Nee of Marcus & Millichap's Fort Lauderdale, Fla., office has brokered the $1.81 million sale of a 12-warehouse portfolio between two private parties. The buildings, located on seven parcels just north of Pembroke Road in Hollywood, total 44,400 square feet. The properties are currently 90 percent occupied.
KENNESAW, GA. — Seven tenants have leased more than 150,000 square feet of office space at TownPark Commons, a Class A property located off Chastain Road in Kennesaw. The leases, which were secured by Daniel Corp., represent 45 percent of the space within the four-story building. ENERCON Services, represented by Transwestern's Greg Baxendale, has signed a 77,000-square-foot lease extension and expansion. INVISTA, represented by Jim Simpson of Grubb & Ellis, renewed a 50,000-square-foot lease. AVS Underwriting leased 15,000 square feet; Andy Lechter and Josh Gnatt of Studley represented the tenant. Finally, Real Estate Mortgage Network, represented by Kirk Anders and Travis Garland, leased 10,000 square feet, and Citadel Professional Services leased 2,200 square feet.
WASHINGTON, D.C. — Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson has signed a 102,000-square-foot lease with Louis Dreyfus Property Group for space in the company's Platinum LEED office property, Lafayette Tower. The property is located at 801 17th St. NW in Washington. The firm, which has leased the space for the next 16 years, will move into Lafayette Tower in 2011. CB Richard Ellis' Stephen Siegel, Craig Reicher, Tim Dempsey and Pat Marr represented the tenant; Jonathan Mechanic, Meyer Last and Franz Rassman provided in-house assistance. David Happ and Grier Hoyt of Linowes & Blocher represented the landlord.
LAUDERDALE-BY-THE-SEA, FLA. — Atlanta-based The Simpson Organization has sold the 15,000-square-foot SunTrust Center to B&C Real Estate Holdings for $2.5 million. The buyer will occupy half the two-story office building, located at 221 E. Commercial Blvd., and SunTrust will operate in the remaining space. David Duckworth of Flagler Real Estate Services represented the seller.
CARROLLTON, TEXAS — Dallas-based Harkinson Investment Corp. has acquired a 60,530-square-foot office/flex property located in Carrollton. Constructed in 1999, the building is located at 2532-2542 Highlander Way. It is fully leased to Pivot Building Systems, Abstract Construction and Fast Signs Holding Corp. — the last of which uses the space as its national headquarters. Ron Hebert of the Dallas office of Marcus & Millichap represented Harkinson, which purchased the property through a limited partnership. Michael Lawrence of Marcus & Millichap's Newport Beach, Calif., office and Scott Ryan of the firm's Dallas office represented the seller, FR/CAL Highlander LLC, which is an entity sponsored by First Industrial Realty Trust.
