ATLANTA — Firethorn Holdings has signed a 50,000-square-foot lease with Cousins Properties for space in the 564,850-square-foot Terminus 200, the second phase of the 10-acre Terminus office development in Atlanta’s Buckhead neighborhood. The property is located at the intersection of Piedmont and Peachtree streets and is being developed by Cousins Properties and Prudential Real Estate Investors. Firethorn is the first tenant that has signed a lease in the building. Terminus 100 is fully leased.

BARTLETT, ILL. — Meridian Design Build has completed the construction of a 103,585-square-foot, build-to-suit corporate headquarters for Auto Truck Group in Bartlett. The facility is situated on 16.26 acres within Brewster Creek Business Park. It features 12,600 square feet of office space, 5,700 square feet of showroom space and an 85,000-square-foot shop area. The shop contains, welding stations, paint and wash booths, a metal fabrication area and work bays that can accommodate up to 48 trucks. The facility also contains a significant amount of secured outdoor vehicle storage space. Auto Truck Group is relocating from its previous facility on Ellis Avenue in Bensenville, Ill. Abbott Land & Investment Corp. served as developer of the project. Ware Malcomb provided design services.

PEABODY, MASS. — Boston-based NAI Hunneman has arranged two office leases at 9 Centennial Drive, a two-story, 37,000-square-foot flex building located in Peabody. Family Continuity Programs signed a 5-year lease for 17,810 square feet of space. It was represented by Richard Newberg of Drumlin Group in the negotiations. Additionally, Nizhoni Health Systems signed a 4-year lease for 2,885 square feet of space. It was represented by Philip Mann of Sangan Realtors. The landlord, B&H Peabody Property LLC, was represented by NAI’s David Gilkie and Michael McCarthy in both transactions.

HOUSTON — Houston-based Hines has expanded its HinesGO sustainability program to the more than 120 million square feet of office space that the company manages all over the world. The program was originally meant to encourage sustainability at Hines’ own 230 offices, but it will now be adapted for the company’s 650-building office portfolio. HinesGo is modeled after the LEED program, in that it awards points for identifying and implementing no-cost and low-cost alternatives to operating an office, with the ultimate goal of being designated a Green Office. Categories include energy efficiency, people and atmosphere, travel and commuting, reuse and recycle, cleaning, remodeling and construction, and LEED. The program scores buildings on a 100-point scale, with 70 points or above earning the Green Office designation.

BLUE BELL, PA. – Beacon Commercial Real Estate has completed a long-term lease of 10,999 square feet of office space at 5 Sentry Parkway East in Blue Bell. The new tenant, Medequip International, is moving its headquarters from 6,750 square feet in Ambler, Pa. It will take the entire first floor at the new location. Dan Galbally of Beacon Commercial Real Estate represented the tenant, and John Adderly and Richard Jones represented the landlord, Mack Cali.

NORWALK, CONN. — Merritt 7 Corporate Park in Norwalk has again earned the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s ENERGY STAR rating for each of its six buildings. Merritt 7’s ENERGY STAR performance scores were extremely high, with ratings that ranged between 91 percent and 98 percent for each of the six buildings. Merritt 7 improved its energy performance by managing energy strategically across the entire complex and by making cost-effective improvements to its buildings. Merritt 7 is a 1.4 million-square-foot complex that is owned by Merritt 7 Venture L.L.C., a joint venture between New York State Teachers’ Retirement System (NYSTRS), and Fairfield Investors, Inc. ING Clarion Partners is an investment advisor to NYSTRS.

FRISCO, TEXAS — Hall Financial Group has renewed five leases at Hall Office Park, the company’s 162-acre office campus located in Frisco. IGPS Co. renewed and expanded its lease to 5,736 square feet at 6801 Gaylord Pkwy. Boyer Group renewed its lease for 3,335 square feet at 2601 Network Blvd. LifePath Systems renewed its leased for 2,561 square feet at 2611 Internet Blvd. NAPCO renewed its lease for 2,450 square feet at 2801 Network Blvd. Finally, Crown Energy renewed its lease for 1,521 square feet at 2591 Dallas Pkwy. Jean Farris and Tammy Lomonaco provided in-house representation for Hall Financial Group in each of the transactions.

PHOENIX — Three companies have signed leases with Related Urban totaling more than 30,000 square feet for space in the firm’s Offices on High Street, located in CityCenter of CityNorth in Phoenix. Capital Processing Network has signed an 8-year lease for 18,136 square feet. The company will occupy the top floor of a three-story building on High Street starting in September. Alaris Business Centers has signed an 11-year lease for 15,000 square feet of office space on High Street. The firm will also occupy the space in September.

NEW YORK CITY — New York City-based The Moinian Group has leased four spaces totaling approximately 33,000 square feet within 17 Battery Place, an office complex located in Downtown Manhattan. Community Access signed a 15-year lease for the entire ninth floor of 17 Battery Place North. It is relocating and expanding from its 17,000-square-foot office located at 666 Broadway. Mark Mandel and Carri Lyon of Cushman & Wakefield represented the tenant. Law firm Steve Krentsl & Jeff Guzman, Esq. signed a lease for 2,300 square feet at 17 Battery Place South. The tenant was represented by Charles Loscalzo of New York Commercial Realty Services. Finally, two existing tenants have renewed their lease and relocated within the property. Tethy’s Tech renewed and expanded its lease to 8,462 square feet at the south tower. Charity Folks renewed its lease for 1,200 square feet. In each of the four transactions, The Moinian Group was represented by Adam Leshowitz, Jamie Jacobs and Rob Sattler of Newmark Knight Frank.

CHICAGO — Chicago-based MB Real Estate has arranged the leasing of 22,000 square feet of office space at Michigan Plaza, a two-tower office complex located on North Michigan Avenue in Chicago. Council 31 of the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees (AFSCME) will occupy a full floor at the 44-story 205 North Michigan building. The union will be relocating from its previous Chicago offices at 29 N. Wacker Dr. MB’s Mark Buth and Kathleen Bertrand represented building ownership in lease negotiations. AFSCME was represented by Edward Schwartz of Bradford Allen Realty Services and June Simonian of Lee & Associates. Michigan Plaza contains 2 million rentable square feet divided between 205 North Michigan and 225 North Michigan, an adjacent 25-story tower.
