FORT WORTH, TEXAS — Sanara MedTech has signed an 8,938-square-foot lease renewal and expansion at Summit Office Park in Fort Worth. The square footage by which the medical equipment manufacturer’s footprint increased was not disclosed. Andy Goldston with Citadel Partners represented the tenant in the lease negotiations. Jake Neal, Vic Meyer and Matt Carthey of Holt Lunsford Commercial represented the landlord, Albany Road.

HACKENSACK, N.J. — Law firm Newman, Simpson & Cohen LLP has signed a 5,909-square-foot office lease at Court North Plaza in the Northern New Jersey community of Hackensack. The three-building, 335,000-square-foot complex offers a fitness center, conference room and a cafeteria, as well as an onsite bank, dry cleaner and car detailing service. Stephen Jennings internally represented the landlord, Alfred Sanzari Enterprises, in the lease negotiations. Josh Folco, formerly of Alexander Anderson Real Estate Group, represented the tenant.

MINNEAPOLIS — Transwestern Real Estate Services has negotiated three office leases totaling 45,242 square feet at SPS Tower in Minneapolis. Jim Montez and Reed Christianson of Transwestern represented the owner, Sumitomo, in the transactions. Kinney & Lange signed a 10-year lease for 13,000 square feet. The intellectual property law firm previously operated out of the Third & Third building. Jaclyn May and Paul Donovan of Cushman & Wakefield represented the tenant. Mercer, an international insurance consulting firm, extended its 24,242-square-foot lease for two years. The firm has been a tenant in the building since 2013. Kevin Salmen of Transwestern represented Mercer. Navitaire, an e-commerce platform for airlines and rail systems, signed a five-year lease for 8,000 square feet. Bruce Schuman of Savills represented the company. SPS Tower is a 31-story office building that totals 655,070 square feet. The property features the Turf Club, the largest green space in the central business district of Minneapolis that hosts special events, lawn games, happy hours and live music. Additional amenities include concierge services, a fitness center, conferencing center and onsite parking. The building is currently 90 percent leased.

CREVE COEUR, MO. — Election technology firm KNOWiNK has opened its new office headquarters in the St. Louis suburb of Creve Coeur. The office project was a renovation of the former American Heart Association building at 460 N. Lindbergh Blvd. KNOWiNK employs 154 people, with 60 employees based in St. Louis. The company’s national voting technology currently serves more than 1,700 election jurisdictions in 36 states and Washington, D.C., accounting for more than 50 percent of registered voters in the U.S. Designed by Remiger Design and built by ISC Contracting, the two-story headquarters features a collaborative open office space. The main level features private offices and huddle rooms, as well as space for sales and marketing, product development, quality control and client training. The lower level includes a game room, break room, town hall gathering space for company-wide meetings, a professional services and customer support office and a small warehouse. There is also an outdoor deck for company functions. The new office is triple the size of KNOWiNK’s existing office in St. Louis.

CHICAGO — CBRE has negotiated a new office headquarters lease on behalf of the Chicago Red Stars of the National Women’s Soccer League. The tenant will occupy 10,417 square feet at 820 W. Jackson in Chicago’s West Loop neighborhood. The team’s new office space features a front office, offices for leadership, conference areas and common areas. Bill Sheehy and Rachel Galindez of CBRE represented the Chicago Red Stars. The landlord was undisclosed.

DENVER — McCarthy Building Cos. has leased a 13,000-square-foot space at One Platte in Denver.  The newly developed, 250,402-square-foot office building is located at 1701 Platte St. The new space will allow McCarthy to expand and relocate within the Denver market. The company has been an active player in the market since the mid-1970s.  JLL’s David Shirazi, Janessa Biller and Scott Wetzel represented McCarthy in the lease. Newmark represented the landlord, Shorenstein.

NEW YORK CITY — Washington, D.C.-based law firm Venable LLP has signed a 157,808-square-foot office lease at 151 West 42nd Street in Midtown Manhattan. The lease term is 15 years, and the deal represents a consolidation from the firm’s previous two offices at 1270 and 1290 Avenue of the Americas. About 270 people will work in the new office, which spans the 48th through 52nd floors, as well as space on the concourse level. Newmark represented Venable in the lease negotiations. The Durst Organization owns the building.

Crossroads-Corporate-Center-Princeton

PRINCETON, N.J. — Rhode Island-based Gilbane Development Co. has sold Crossroads Corporate Center, a 100,925-square-foot office building in Princeton. The three-story building was constructed on 45 acres in 1991 and has been renovated multiple times over the ensuing years. Jeremy Neuer, Jose Cruz, Kevin O’Hearn, Thomas Romano, J.B. Bruno and Jason Lundy of JLL represented Gilbane in the transaction. A joint venture led by Simone Realty purchased Crossroads Corporate Center for an undisclosed price.

NORTH MIAMI, FLA. — CBRE has brokered the $39 million sale of Biscayne Centre, a 156,446-square-foot office building located at 11900 Biscayne Blvd. in North Miami. Totaling eight stories, the property — which was 81 percent occupied at the time of sale — features ground-floor retail space and an attached multi-level parking garage. Amenities include front desk security, an in-house café and a day spa. An entity doing business as Biscayne Real Estate Holdings LLC purchased the property from an entity doing business as 11900 Biscayne LLC. Benjamin Silver and Charlie Manuel of CBRE represented the seller and procured the buyer in the transaction.

AUSTIN, TEXAS — Jefferson Bank, a family-owned lender that was founded in San Antonio, has opened a 5,000-square-foot branch at Norwood Tower in downtown Austin. The branch officially opened on March 15, and the bank expects to employ more than 20 people at the site by the end of the year. Case McCoy of HPI Real Estate Investments & Services represented Jefferson Bank in the lease negotiations. Patrick Ley of Equitable Commercial Realty (ECR) represented the undisclosed landlord.
