BOSTON — Locally based development and investment firm The Davis Cos. has begun leasing Hew at 1515, a 150-unit apartment building in Boston’s Brighton neighborhood. Designed by RODE Architects, the seven-story building is part of a larger complex at 1515 Commonwealth Ave. that includes a 102-unit condo building. Units come in studio, one-, two- and three-bedroom floor plans. Amenities include a clubroom with a catering kitchen, fitness center, rooftop terrace and bar, coworking spaces, a multi-sport simulator and a pet spa. The first move-ins will begin this summer. Rents start at $2,770 per month for a studio apartment.

UNIVERSITY PARK, ILL. — Cushman & Wakefield has negotiated a full-building industrial lease totaling 1.6 million square feet at 701 Central Ave. in the Chicago suburb of University Park. The transaction marks the largest warehouse lease in the Chicago market in 2024, according to the brokerage firm. Sean Henrick and Ryan Klink of Cushman & Wakefield represented the landlord, W. P. Carey. Jason West, Lou D’Avanzo and Adam Cooke of Cushman & Wakefield represented the tenant, a global tech and logistics company. W. P. Carey made several capital improvements to the property. The tenant is consolidating its footprint into a single facility.

CLINTON, N.J. — Berkadia has brokered the sale of Halstead Place Apartments, a 35-unit apartment building in Clinton, about 55 miles west of New York City. Built in 2018, the property offers one-, two- and three-bedroom units with an average size of about 1,100 square feet, with 20 percent of the residences reserved as affordable housing. Amenities include a fitness center, storage lockers and outdoor grilling stations. The buyer was Acquivest Financial Group, and the seller was undisclosed. Nat Gambuzza, Zachary Pierce, Matthew Stefanski, Trevor Fiebel and Maura Spellman of Berkadia represented both parties in the transaction.

WRENTHAM, MASS. — Simon Property Group has welcomed five new tenants to Wrentham Village Premium Outlets on the southwestern outskirts of Boston. Pottery Barn opened earlier this month at the property, which is also home to sister brand West Elm Outlet. Apparel retailers OFFLINE by Aerie, Hollister Co. and Gilly Hicks have also signed leases at the development. OFFLINE by Aerie will open this summer, and Hollister Co. and Gilly Hicks are scheduled to open this fall. Additionally, Shake Shack will debut a new restaurant before the end of the year.

COLUMBUS, OHIO — 3650 REIT and JPMorgan Chase & Co. have provided a $62 million loan for the refinancing of Columbus Business Park, a 2.2 million-square-foot industrial development located at 4545 Fisher Road in Columbus. The borrowers are Industrial Commercial Properties LLC and Industrial Realty Group. Columbus Business Park features 225 dock doors, seven drive-in doors and clear heights ranging from 25 to 35 feet. The loan term was five years.

HOLBROOK, N.Y. — Locally based brokerage firm CAMCO Commercial Real Estate has negotiated a 17,022-square-foot industrial lease on Long Island. The tenant, food wholesaler 496 Express Foods Inc., is taking space at the 300,000-square-foot Sherwood Corporate Center in Holbrook. The space can support cold storage uses. CAMCO represented both the tenant and undisclosed landlord in the lease negotiations.

KIRKWOOD, MO. — Brinkmann Constructors has completed a 35,000-square-foot Audi dealership for Semersky Enterprises, a Chicago-based automobile retailer. The two-story property is located in Kirkwood, a western suburb of St. Louis. The project features a lower-level service drive, 18-bay service shop and second-story showroom. Brinkmann’s scope of work included the civil, landscaping and mechanical, engineering and plumbing design-build services in addition to the furniture, fixtures, signage and automotive equipment. Charles Vincent George Architects served as the project architect.

CHICAGO — SVN Chicago Commercial has brokered the $2.3 million sale of a 6,800-square-foot commercial building located at 5212 N. Clark St. in Chicago’s Andersonville neighborhood. Tim Rasmussen of SVN procured a local buyer who plans to convert the ground-floor commercial space into medical use. SVN also represented the undisclosed seller.

SEATTLE — Los Angeles-based BH Properties has purchased Pacific Place, a 2.1-acre upscale entertainment and shopping center in downtown Seattle, for an undisclosed price. Situated between Seattle Convention Center and Pike Place Market, the 335,000-square-foot Pacific Place offers five floors of retail space, including an 11-screen AMC Theatre and various restaurants. Developed in 1998, the regional indoor shopping mall underwent a renovation in 2019. Current tenants include Tiffany & Co., AMC Theaters, Din Tai Fung and Haidilao at the 45 percent-occupied asset. The property also offers a 1,164-stall, below-grade parking garage.

SAN DIEGO — JLL Capital Markets has arranged $82.5 million in refinancing for Sunroad Centrum Office Tower, an 11-story office building in San Diego. Aldon Cole, Tim Wright and Bharat Madan of JLL Capital Markets secured the five-year, fixed-rate senior loan thorugh Goldman Sachs for the borrower, Sunroad Enterprises. Originally built in 2008, Sunroad Centrum Office Tower offers 274,758 square feet of Class A office space. Sunroad Enterprises invested $30 million in improvements to re-tenant the building, which was fully occupied at closing. Current tenants include A Berkshire Hathaway Company, Kyocera, Appfolio, Conam, Veterans Administration, California Government Departments and Sunroad Enterprises’ corporate headquarters. Situated on 1.5 acres at 8620 Spectrum Center, Sunroad Centrum Office Tower offers a full-service gym and lockers, restaurant, conference center, controlled access, renovated lobby and elevators, and abundant parking. Additionally, the asset is part of the Sunroad Centrum master plan that include 1,245 apartments, Park Social Restaurant, six gyms, five pools, multiple amenity areas, a barber shop, pickleball courts and a two-acre park, which includes separate dog play and child play areas.
