DALLAS — Greysteel has brokered the sale of 2014 Bennett, a 50-unit multifamily community located in the Knox-Henderson area of Dallas. The property was built in 1971. Doug Banerjee and Andrew Mueller of Greysteel represented the undisclosed seller and procured the buyer, an out-of-state investor. Additional terms of sale were not disclosed.
OKLAHOMA CITY — Arkansas-based Plunkett Distributing has signed a 32,978-square-foot industrial lease at 4001 Will Rogers Parkway in Oklahoma City. Jason Hammock, John Lenochan, Caitlin Mazaheri and Alex Powell of CBRE represented the landlord, Ted R. Davis LLC, in the lease negotiations. The representative of the tenant was not disclosed.
NEW YORK CITY — Blackstone Mortgage Trust has provided a $724.2 million loan for the refinancing of Hudson Commons, a 698,000-square-foot redeveloped office building in the Hudson Yards submarket of Manhattan. The borrower, a partnership between Cove Property Group and The Baupost Group, purchased the former warehouse from Emblem Health in December 2016. Hudson Commons is now 65 percent leased to tenants including Peloton and Lyft, which will occupy 336,000 square feet and 100,000 square feet, respectively. Kohn Pedersen Fox handled design of the redevelopment project. Grant Frankel, Phil McKnight and Ethan Pond of Eastdil Secured LLC arranged the refinancing loan.
NEW YORK CITY — Colliers International has negotiated a 10,000-square-foot office lease for grocery delivery service Hungryroot in the Flatiron neighborhood of Manhattan. Hungryroot is moving to 7 West 22nd Street from its Union Square coworking office space to accommodate its everyday business functions, rising employee count and continued company growth. Sheena Gohil and Jack Senske of Colliers represented Hungryroot in the lease negotiations. Paul Amrich, Neil King, Alexander Golod and Georgina Cook of CBRE represented the landlord, Chang Realty Associates.
NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. — The Masonic Hall and Asylum Fund, a seniors housing owner-operator, has acquired the former College of New Rochelle campus just north of The Bronx for $32 million, according to reports from The Journal News. The college declared bankruptcy in September, and sister school Mercy College absorbed all the students, faculty and programs. Although specific plans for the future of the property were not disclosed, Masonic Hall and Asylum Fund operates Masonic Care Community, a seniors housing community in Utica.
LEVITTOWN, PA. — NAI Mertz has secured a 67,000-square-foot office lease for mobile phone accessory manufacturer Ondigo Electronics in Levittown, a southwestern suburb of Trenton. The property is situated within Bristol Industrial Park, which is located at 37 Runway Road and was completed in 1999. Jeff Licht and Adam Lashner of NAI Mertz represented Ondigo in the lease negotiations. The team also represented the landlord, F. Greek Bristol Properties.
BOSTON — Apparel retailer Everlane has signed a 2,300-square-foot retail lease in Boston’s Seaport District. Originally launched in November 2011 as an exclusively online retailer, Everlane will open its sixth brick-and-mortar location at 125 Seaport Boulevard in Spring 2020. The brand markets itself as a transparent and ethically sourced apparel retailer. WS Development is the developer of 125 Seaport Boulevard
SHOREWOOD, ILL. — DSC Logistics has leased 375,000 square feet of industrial space at Heartland Corporate Center in Shorewood near the I-55 and I-80 interchange. The Des Plaines-based logistics company has already taken occupancy of 250,000 square feet to start processing inbound deliveries. Within the next six months, DSC will expand to the rest of its space. HSA Commercial Real Estate and Clarion Partners developed the 757,880-square-foot Heartland Corporate Center, located at 21530 SW Frontage Road. The distribution center features a clear height of 36 feet, 108 truck docks and 240 car parking spaces. DEARBORN, MICH. — SkyView Advisors has brokered the sale of a Metro Storage facility in Dearborn for an undisclosed price. The 96,148-square-foot self-storage facility sits on 3.2 acres at 6470 Wyoming Ave. Zack Urow and Ryan Clark of SkyView represented the seller. Buyer and seller information was not disclosed.
RAYTOWN, MO. — Newmark Grubb Zimmer has arranged the sale of Westlake Raytown Center, a 34,466-square-foot retail center in Raytown, a suburb of Kansas City. The sales price was not disclosed. The fully leased property, located at 10130 E. 350 Highway, is home to Westlake Ace Hardware, Napa Auto Parts and Scooter’s Coffee.
