TEMPE, ARIZ. — El Segundo, Calif.-based Dunbar Real Estate Investment Management purchased Mill Avenue Business Park, located at 40 E. Baseline Road, 5030 S. Mill Ave. and 5005-5025 S. Ash Ave. in Tempe. San Juan Capistrano, Calif.-based Birtcher Anderson Realty sold the property for $14.2 million. Bob Buckley, Steve Lindley and Tracy Cartledge of Cushman & Wakefield Phoenix negotiated the transaction on behalf of the seller. Built in 1983, Mill Avenue Business Park features 134,886 square feet of office, industrial and retail space. The property recently underwent a $1.3 million renovation. At the time of sale, the asset was 87.7 percent occupied.

LONE TREE, COLO. — Newmark Knight Frank has arranged the sale of Meadows Shopping Center, located at 8870 E. Maximus Drive in Lone Tree, approximately 20 miles south of Denver. Meadows Partners LLC sold the property to Meadows Shopping Center LLC for $5.1 million. The shopping center features 19,755 square feet of retail space. Riki Hashimoto and Daniel Grooters of Newmark Knight Frank represented the seller in the deal.

REDLANDS, CALIF. — Marcus & Millichap has arranged the sale of Park West Plaza, a retail property located at 415 and 461 Tennessee St. in Redlands. An undisclosed partnership sold the property for $6.2 million. Built in 1978 and situated on 3.8 acres, the retail asset features four buildings offering a total of 52,388 square feet. Chuck Shillington of Marcus & Millichap’s Ontario office represented the seller in the deal. The name of the buyer was not released.

NEW ALBANY, IND. — MedEquities Realty Trust Inc. (NYSE: MRT) has acquired Southern Indiana Rehabilitation Hospital in New Albany near Louisville for $23.4 million. The company also executed a 15-year lease with Vibra Rehabilitation Hospital of Southern Indiana LLC for the 60-bed inpatient rehabilitation facility (IRF). Vibra will convert the 26 beds currently in use as skilled nursing in order to operate the entire 64,380-square-foot facility as an IRF, which is the original design of the facility. The seller was not disclosed.

SCHAUMBURG, ILL. — Core Acquisitions has unveiled plans to complete a $7 million renovation of Chatham Centre in Schaumburg. The 10-story, 205,000-square-foot office building is located at 1901 N. Roselle Road. Core plans to upgrade the lobby and outdoor terrace spaces, enhance the onsite food service operations and complete tenant build-outs. The lobby will feature a bleacher-style seating area where employees can work, eat or socialize. Construction of the new improvements is scheduled to begin immediately and be completed by year-end. Chatham Centre is currently 70 percent leased. Colliers International is the leasing agent and property manager. D+K Architects is the design and architecture firm. Core financed its acquisition of the property with New York-based Prime Finance.

CHICAGO — Strive Logistics has signed a 20,033-square-foot office lease for its headquarters at 1457 N. Halsted St. in Chicago. The third-party logistics provider will move into its space in the NEWCITY development in November. The company will relocate from 3008 N. Lincoln Ave. Kevin McLennan and David Saad of CBRE represented Strive in the lease transaction. Jake Ehrenberg and Scott Brandwein of CBRE represented the landlord, Bucksbaum Retail Management. NEWCITY is a mixed-use development located at the intersection of Halsted Street and Clybourn Avenue in the Lincoln Park neighborhood.

DES PLAINES, ILL. — Morgan/Harbour Construction has completed an office and lab space renovation for Riddell Sports in Des Plaines, a suburb of Chicago. Riddell is a manufacturer of football helmets, pads and other football-related equipment. The scope of the project included a 19,640-square-foot interior office build-out on the fifth floor, including 3,325 square feet of testing laboratory space. New partitions, doors and ceilings as well as upgraded finishes and new furnishings were part of the renovation. Partners by Design provided architectural services. CBRE is the property manager. Riddell moved its corporate headquarters from Rosemont to 1700 Higgins Centre in Des Plaines.

WARSAW, IND. — The Cooper Commercial Investment Group has arranged the $5 million sale of Lake City Plaza in Warsaw, about 40 miles west of Fort Wayne. The 12,408-square-foot retail property is fully leased. Tenants include Starbucks, Verizon Wireless, Moe’s Southwest Grill and McAlister’s, all of which are on 10-year leases. The new property is located directly in front of a Meijer superstore. Dan Cooper of Cooper Group represented the seller, an Indiana-based private investor. An Ohio-based group purchased the asset.

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Cushman & Wakefield has arranged $174 million in financing for the acquisition of a 13-property multifamily portfolio located throughout Maryland and Virginia. Philip Mudd and Brad Geiger of Cushman & Wakefield’s Washington, D.C., office arranged 13 separate loans, each with 15-year terms, on behalf of the borrower, Kay Management. PGIM Real Estate Finance provided the fixed-rate loans through Fannie Mae. The portfolio totals 5,007 units and includes: Londonderry Apartments, Seneca Club, Wayne Manchester and White Oak Towers in Montgomery County, Md.; Deerfield Run, Gateway Square, Iverson Towers, Kenilworth Towers, Kirkwood Apartments, Lansdowne Village and Top of the Hill in Prince George’s County, Md.; Harbour Gates in Anne Arundel County, Md.; and London Park Tower in Alexandria, Va. The apartment mix includes mid-rise, high-rise, garden-style and townhomes.

MIAMI AND DAVIE, FLA. — NorthMarq Capital has arranged $93.7 million in acquisition financing for Sundance Village and The Gardens at Nova, two apartment communities located in Miami and the nearby suburb of Davie, respectively. The financing package included fixed- and floating-rate debt, as well as joint venture equity. Stephen Whitehead of NorthMarq secured the Fannie Mae financing on behalf of the undisclosed borrower, and a correspondent life company provided the joint venture equity. Both loans feature 10-year terms, five years of interest-only payments and 30-year amortization schedules. Sundance Village totals 304 units and features a resident clubhouse, pool and private balconies. The 140-unit Gardens at Nova features a business center, clubhouse, coffee bar, fitness center and a pool.
