LINTHICUM HEIGHTS, MD. — Alliant Credit Union has provided a 10-year, $12.5 million loan to refinance a remote airport parking facility at Baltimore-Washington International Airport. The 850,852-square-foot site includes 2,156 parking spaces and is located less than one mile from the main terminal building at the airport. The facility is privately owned and managed. The name of the borrower was not disclosed.

PHOENIX — NKF Capital Markets has brokered the sale of The Madison, an office property located at 5343 and 5353 S. 16th St. in Phoenix’s Camelback Corridor. A joint venture between EverWest Real Estate Investors and CenterSquare Investment Management sold the asset to Admiral Capital Group for $33.1 million. Paul Jones, Kevin Shannon, Rick Stumm, Ken White, Brunson Howard and CJ Osbrink of NKF Capital Markets represented the seller, while the buyer was self-represented in the transaction. Situated on 2.8 acres and renovated in 2017, The Madison includes two four-story office buildings, totaling 177,312 square feet, and subterranean parking. At the time of sale, the property was 93 percent occupied by a diverse mix of tenants.
GOODYEAR, ARIZ. — KeyBank Real Estate Capital has provided a $35.3 million CMBS first-mortgage loan for Market at Estrella Falls, a retail center in Goodyear. The name of borrower was not released. Jacob Proctor of Key’s Commercial Mortgage Group arranged the non-recourse, fixed-rate financing with a 10-year term, two-year interest-only period and a 30-year amortization schedule. The borrower used the loan to acquire the property, as well as an adjacent vacant lot for future development. Burlington, T.J. Maxx/HomeGoods and C-A-L Ranch Stores anchor the 292,034-square-foot shopping center.
SEATTLE — Áegis Living has opened the doors on Áegis at Ravenna, an assisted living and memory care community in Seattle’s Maple Leaf neighborhood. The property will feature 82 total units. The Ravenna name is a reference to both a neighboring Seattle neighborhood and a 19th-century opera house in Ravenna, Italy, the inspiration for the community’s design. The community features views of local landscapes, including Maple Leaf Reservoir Park, Waldo Woods and Lake Washington. Based in nearby Bellevue, Áegis Living operates 30 seniors housing communities in Washington, California and Nevada.
CLOVIS, N.M. — AAG Management has purchased a single-tenant retail property located 1905 N. Prince St. in Clovis. An undisclosed seller sold the property for $9 million. Albertsons Market occupies the 43,484-square-foot building. Matt Berres of JLL’s Capital Markets represented the seller in the deal.
DENVER — Pinnacle Real Estate Advisors has arranged the sale of an apartment building located at 1410 Poplar St. in Denver. An undisclosed buyer purchased the property for $4 million or approximately $190,000 per unit. Built in 1949, the building features 21 apartment units. Eric Veith of Pinnacle represented the buyer, while Matt Lewallen and Kevin Calame of Pinnacle represented the undisclosed seller in the transaction.
MINNEAPOLIS — Dougherty Funding LLC has provided a $41.4 million loan for the construction of Second & Second Apartments in Minneapolis. The name stems from the property’s location at the southeast corner of 2nd Avenue and 2nd Street. Plans call for 158 apartment units and 22,716 square feet of retail space. Dougherty provided the loan on behalf of the borrower, 128 2nd Street North LLC.
ST. LOUIS — The renamed McKnight Place Assisted Living & Memory Care in St. Louis has undergone a $32 million renovation. The project’s first phase included a three-story, 102,000-square-foot expansion featuring 90 apartment units. The second phase included a 74,000-square-foot renovated space with 18 additional assisted living suites and 27 separate memory care suites. Amenities include a main-floor dining room, café bistro, fitness center, chapel, billiard room, beauty salon, art room and greenhouse. The property is located on the 15-acre care campus at The Gatesworth, which now totals more than 1 million square feet of space for seniors. GateCo Development was the general contractor for the project. Greystone provided financing.
LAPORTE, IND. —The City of LaPorte Redevelopment Commission has selected Flaherty & Collins Properties to develop a 200-unit multifamily project in the city’s NewPorte Landing redevelopment project. Plans call for two buildings totaling approximately 167,000 square feet. Amenities will include a pool, outdoor courtyard, dog park, fitness center and bike storage. The apartment property represents a capital investment of more than $30 million, according to Flaherty & Collins. The LaPorte Redevelopment Commission is financing the project with tax-increment financing. Construction is set to begin next summer with completion in late 2020.
ADDISON, ILL. — JDS Industries has signed an 87,000-square-foot industrial lease in Addison. The wholesale supplier of personalization and awards components will occupy the entire building at 350 Church St. The property features 7,000 square feet of office space, a clear height of 24 feet, 13 exterior docks, one drive-in door and 59 car parking spaces. The company is relocating from Elk Grove Village as part of an expansion of operations. Britt Casey and Jeff Matella of Cushman & Wakefield represented the landlord, The Silverman Group.
