LAS CRUCES, N.M. — Welbrook Senior Living expects to complete construction of 50-bed skilled nursing facility in Las Cruces, just north of El Paso, Texas, by the end of June. The property, which has not yet been named, will largely focus on short-stay rehabilitation. Partners on the funding, design and construction of the property include National Healthcare Development Inc., Northstar Commercial Partners, Lantz-Boggio Architects and Catamount Constructors. California-based Welbrook has 11 communities opened or under construction in California, Nevada, Utah, Colorado, New Mexico, Illinois and Arizona. Its properties span the continuum of care.

PLANO, TEXAS — Developer KDC has topped off JPMorgan Chase’s new, 1 million-square-foot corporate office campus at the Legacy West development in Plano. The $300 million, 50-acre campus features amenities such as a food court, health and wellness center, training and conference space, and a childcare center. Approximately 6,000 JPMorgan Chase employees are expected to work at the property beginning in the second half of 2017.
CARROLLTON, TEXAS — CBRE has arranged the sale of Villas de la Colonia, a 143-unit multifamily community located at 1515 Metrocrest Drive in the Dallas-Fort Worth metro of Carrollton. Built in 1969, the community features a mix of one-, two- and three-bedroom units averaging 822 square feet per unit. Chris Deuillet of CBRE represented the seller, California-based Communidad Realty Partners, which sold the property to Aspire Ventures LLC, a Pennsylvania-based private equity firm. Villas de la Colonia was 95 percent occupied at the time of sale.
KATY AND PASADENA, TEXAS — Baker Katz has negotiated two leases totaling 13,000 square feet in the Houston suburbs of Katy and Pasadena on behalf of Outback Steakhouse. The Katy restaurant will be located at the intersection of Interstate 10 and Katy Fort Bend Road. The Pasadena restaurant will be located at the corner of Vista Road and State Highway Beltway 8. Stephen Tou of Retail Connection and Lindsay Schlueter of Glasier Retail Partners represented the landlords in Katy and Pasadena, respectively.
MESQUITE, TEXAS — TIG Commercial Real Estate Services has negotiated a 42,919-square-foot lease at 4401 Samuell Blvd. in the Austin suburb of Mesquite on behalf of an unspecified tenant. Matthew Hickey and Kristin Grammar of TIG represented the tenant in the transaction. NAI Robert Lynn represented the undisclosed landlord.
CHICAGO — Starbucks Coffee Co. has unveiled plans to open a Starbucks Reserve Roastery in Chicago in 2019. Located on North Michigan Avenue and Erie Street on Chicago’s Magnificent Mile, the Chicago Reserve Roastery will be the company’s third Roastery location in the United States, following Seattle, which opened in December 2014, and New York City, which is slated to open in 2018. The 43,000 square-foot space will be dedicated to roasting, brewing and packaging the company’s small-batch Starbucks Reserve coffees from around the world. Tailored to the Chicago customer, the four-story building will offer multiple brewing methods, specialty Reserve beverages and mixology. Reserve Roastery locations also include artisan breads and bakery items from Italian-based Rocco Princi. Robert Wislow, Camille Julmy and Todd Siegel of CBRE represented the landlord, Gordon Segal, in the lease transaction. Segal is the founder of Crate & Barrel. CHICAGO — PCCP LLC has provided a $36 million loan for the refinancing of Village Market in the Lakeshore East community of downtown Chicago. The 102,224-square-foot retail center is 87 percent leased and is anchored by a 56,000-square-foot Mariano’s store. Village Market opened in 2011. The borrower was a joint venture between Magellan Development Co. and Hanwha Engineering & Construction.
CUYAHOGA FALLS, OHIO — Bellwether Enterprise Real Estate Capital LLC has arranged a $15.2 million loan for the refinancing of an industrial property in Cuyahoga Falls, five miles north of Akron. The property currently serves as the main manufacturing facility for Gojo Industries Inc., a producer and marketer of skin health and hygiene solutions. Jeff Musser of Bellwether arranged the financing for Gojo Industries. The lender was not disclosed.
MAUMEE, OHIO — Reichle | Klein Group has brokered the sale of a 30,000-square-foot industrial building in Maumee, a suburb of Toledo, for $2 million. The former Champion Windows building is located at 6214 Monclova Road. Mike Poulos of Reichle Klein represented the buyer, Therma-Tru Corp. Toledo-based Champion Realty LLC was the seller.
CUDAHY, WIS. — US Pack Logistics LLC has signed a 13,971-square-foot industrial lease in Cudahy, approximately seven miles south of Milwaukee. The building is located at 200 E. College Ave. Pat Hake, Bill Langhoff and Steve Sewart of Colliers International brokered the lease transaction.
