CBRE/NE’s Christopher Healey represented the seller, Hassell’s End Properties, and procured the buyer, Peerless Properties LLC, a privately owned company.

The 10-year lease is valued at $5.2 million. This lease brings the Class A office building to full occupancy. It is located at 501 Deep Valley Drive. Eric Lastition and Geoff Ludwig of Colliers International represented the landlord, West Coast Capital Partners.
SANTA MONICA, CALIF. — Zian has purchased a six-unit apartment building in Santa Monica for $2.2 million. The community is located at 1830 12th Street. It was built in 1959. The property is situated near Santa Monica College, Main Street Shops, the Santa Monica Pier and the new Light Rail Metro line. Kimberly Roberts Stepp of Stepp Commercial represented the seller, 2820 3rd Street LLC.
NEWPORT BEACH, CALIF. — Bank of America has leased 88,000 square feet of office space in Newport Beach. The space is located at 520 Newport Center Drive. It is directly across from Fashion Island. Merrill Lynch, Private Banking and Investments, Commercial and Business Banking, will occupy the space. The landlord is Irvine Company Office Properties.
LOS ANGELES — Abrams Artists Agency has leased 15,650 square feet at the Pacific Design Center’s RedBuilding in Los Angeles. The center is located at 8687 Melrose Ave. Abrams is a talent and literary agency. It represents up-and-coming acting talent, as well as established celebrities in film, television and theater. Robert Cavaiola of Savills Studley represented the firm. The landlord, Cohen Brothers Realty, was represented in-house by Marc Horowitz, as well as by JLL’s Josh Wroble.
HALTOM CITY, TEXAS — Institutional Property Advisors (IPA), a division of Marcus & Millichap, has arranged the sale of Apartments at Amesbury Court, a 312-unit multifamily community in Haltom City. Will Balthrope, Drew Kile and Rowan Burch represented the seller and procured the buyer, Hamilton Zanze, in the transaction. The property is located at 4699 Fossil Vista Drive at its intersection with North Beach Street. Amesbury Court feature nine- and 10-foot ceilings with crown moldings, full-size washer/dryers, patios or balconies, and maple cabinetry. HOUSTON — Cousins Properties has completed its multi-million dollar renovation at 3 Greenway Plaza, part of the 4.4 million-square-foot Greenway Plaza campus. The completed renovations include a redone lobby and concourse levels, with marble tile and wood finishes, new lighting fixtures and furniture, commissioned art installations throughout and updated parking garage elevator banks. Cousins is also working on a new, 12,000-square-foot fitness center and improvements to The Shops at Greenway Plaza, set to be completed in the second quarter of 2016. These are the first common area upgrades at Greenway Plaza since 1998.
CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS — Stream Realty Partners has arranged the sale of The Reserve at Saratoga, a 274-unit apartment community in Corpus Christi. The property is located at 5701 Saratoga Blvd., in Corpus Christi’s south side. Jeff Patterson and Kelly Witherspoon of Stream Realty’s Austin office represented the joint venture between Fogelman Properties and Bridge Partners selling the apartment complex to Miller Frishman Group. The 14.8-acre property, built in 2006, encompasses 12 three-story residential apartment buildings. Property amenities include controlled-access gates, a pool and outdoor kitchen, fitness center with an indoor basketball court and a community clubhouse. EL PASO, TEXAS — Capital Square Realty Advisors has acquired a newly constructed, 19,855-square-foot medical rehabilitation facility in El Paso that is 100 percent leased to Mentis Neuro El Paso. Located at 4360 Doniphan Drive, the single-story building was designed and built for use as a rehabilitation facility. The specialized building was completed earlier this year and is situated on 2.6 acres, which includes 46 parking spaces. The facility includes a therapy gym, full-service kitchen, outdoor patio and living areas. Mentis Neuro El Paso is a wholly owned subsidiary of Mentis Neuro Rehabilitation, which provides post-acute neurorehabilitation.
CEDAR PARK, TEXAS — The Austin office of Cadence McShane Construction Co. has completed the 23,150-square-foot headquarters and manufacturing facility for Voltabox of Texas Inc. The build-to-suit facility is located on a six-acre site at 1500 Volta Drive that Voltabox acquired from master developer TIG Real Estate Services. It is part of Scottsdale Crossing Commerce Park. Voltabox of Texas, and Voltabox Deutschland GmbH are suppliers of lithium ion batteries for all types of vehicle-based and stationary uses. The building is the firm’s first North American operation. Cadence McShane constructed the facility utilizing a steel frame and insulated tilt-wall panels. The main entrance and office component of the headquarters facility feature a glass curtain wall exterior accented with red metal panels complementing the Voltabox brand. The interior of the building includes a 20-foot clear height and four dock doors.
