BRISTOL, CONN. — DoubleTree by Hilton has opened its newest hotel in Bristol, located about 18 miles south of Hartford. Formerly a Clarion hotel, the 141-room DoubleTree by Hilton Bristol opens following a 13-month renovation at a cost of more than $20 million led by design firm Parker-Torres Design LLC. Bristol Hotel LLC owns the hotel, which is managed by Prestige Hospitality Group LLC. The five-story, 19-suite tower offers a separate private entrance for guests. The hotel also features more than 7,000 square feet of flexible meeting space, an indoor heated swimming pool, 24-hour fitness center, 24-hour business center and complimentary WiFi throughout the hotel.

KINGSTON, N.Y. — Marcus & Millichap Real Estate Investment Services has arranged the sale of a 5,250-square-foot Verizon Wireless-occupied property in Kingston for $2.7 million. Judson Kauffman and Glen Kunofsky in Marcus & Millichap’s Manhattan office represented the buyer and seller, both private investors, in the transaction. Verizon Wireless is an outparcel to the Kings Mall, which is anchored by Marshall’s, HomeGoods, and Olive Garden. There are four years remaining on the 10-year, double net lease to Verizon Wireless.

NEW YORK CITY — ABS Partners Real Estate LLC has arranged three leases at 44 Wall St. on the seventh floor, totaling close to 8,000 square feet. Matthew Hoffman of Focus Real Estate Group represented Style House PR, which signed a 2,916-square-foot lease. Leon Manoff of Colliers International represented Handelsblatt, a daily German newspaper focusing on business, which signed a 2,135-square-foot lease. Theodora Livadiotis of Cassidy Turley represented SmartAsset, which signed 2,932-square-foot lease. Keith Lipstein, Jay Kreisberg and Adam Nelson of ABS Partners represented the landlord in the transactions.

SAN ANTONIO — Hendricks-Berkadia has brokered the sale of the 178-unit Coronado, an apartment community located at 9525 Lorene Lane in San Antonio. Will Caruth, Mike Miller and Chris Ross of Hendricks-Berkadia's San Antonio office negotiated the transaction. The seller was Miami-based LB-RPR | Asset Holdings LLC, and the buyer was a private investor based in Texas.

LEWISVILLE, TEXAS — Henry S. Miller Brokerage has secured the acquisition of an 84,140-square-foot industrial facility in Lewisville. The office/warehouse facility is located at 1725 Lakepointe Drive within the Lewisville Tech Center. The property has approximately 23,630 square feet of office space, 36,308 square feet of production space and approximately 26,202 square feet of warehouse space. The property previously housed the contents of the George Bush Library, and will now be home to the corporate operations of JADA Enterprise, the buyer. Dan Spika of Henry S. Miller Brokerage represented the buyer, and Michael Peinado of Lincoln Property Co. represented the seller, LPC GSA LLC.

HOUSTON — The Finial Group has brokered the sale of a 20,000-square-foot industrial facility, located at 4627 N. Sam Houston Parkway E. in Houston, near the intersection of Beltway 8 and Vickery Road. Ross Thomas and Reed Vestal of Finial Group represented the buyer, Elbi of America Inc., in the transaction. KELLER, TEXAS — Irving-based Realty Capital Management has arranged the sale of approximately nine acres of land in Keller to Moviehouse & Eatery, a dine-in theater concept. The parcel is located on Rufe Snow Drive just south of FM 1709. The approximately 42,000-square-foot theater will include eight upscale auditoriums, reserved seating in electric recliners and a full menu and bar. The new theater will be an addition to Keller Town Center. Construction is slated to begin in the summer and the theater is anticipating opening its doors in summer 2014. Mark Boone of Realty Capital Management represented the seller in the transaction. Debi Carter of Hudson Peters Commercial represented the buyer. Moviehouse & Eatery operates another location in Austin.

The new satellite dealership will open in The Waterway Square District in The Woodlands, located at 1501 Lake Robbins Drive. SAN DIEGO — OliverMcMillan and Capri Capital Partners have broken ground on The Lofts at 688 13th Street, a 208-unit apartment development in San Diego. The community is located in the East Village district near Downtown San Diego. The project is maintaining a two-year construction schedule, with VCC serving as the general contractor and Pappageorge Haymes Partners and AVRP Studios acting as the designers.
