BOSTON — EagleBridge Capital has arranged $4.8 million in financing for three multifamily units in Boston on behalf of Neelon Properties. Ted Sidel and Brian Sheehan of EagleBridge arranged a $4 million mortgage for two units located at 251 Marlboro St. in the Back Bay neighborhood, plus an $820,000 mortgage for a unit located at 77 Worcester St. in the South End. The lenders were two leading financial institutions. The Marlboro Street units contain a total of 4,950 square feet on two floors. The two-story 77 Worcester Street is a 1,700-square-foot penthouse duplex. The interiors of Marlboro Street units and the Worcester Street unit are being completely rebuilt.

NEW YORK CITY — Vitech Corp. has renewed and extended its 42,200-square-foot office lease at 401 Park Ave. South. Vitech Corp. signed a 10-year lease for two floors at the 12-story property. The corporation’s global headquarters are located in the 252,000-square-foot office building. Dennis Someck of Lee & Associates represented Vitech in the transaction, while Mark S. Stein and Jason Vacker of Meringoff Properties represented the building’s owner. Vitech is a worldwide provider of systems engineering and architecting software solutions.
LEWISVILLE, TEXAS — Satterfield & Pontikes Construction has been awarded a $93 million contract to construct two new schools in the Lewisville Independent School District. The company will construct ninth-grade centers totaling 110,000 square feet each at Marcus High School and Flower Mound High School to help reduce crowding. The additions will encompass classrooms, a library, a 2,200-seat basketball arena, science labs, cafeteria, 7,000-square-foot black box theater and administration areas. The work will include parking, covered walkways, utilities and demolition. Work at Flower Mound High School will also include renovations to the fine arts area, replacement of the football stadium sound system and renovations of the lockers in the old field house and inside the school. Flower Mound High will also receive new sports facilities, including a multi-court tennis complex and an indoor practice facility. Dallas-based PBK Architects designed the additions and renovations. Satterfield & Pontikes will complete the project before the beginning of classes in August 2014.
FRISCO, TEXAS — Conifer Health Solutions has broken ground on its new corporate headquarters, located in the Duke Bridges Office Park at the intersection of the Dallas North Tollway and Warren Parkway in Frisco. Duke Realty is developing the four-story, 200,000-square-foot office building. Conifer currently leases office space in Hall Office Park. Conifer plans to eventually hire 500 employees to add to its existing 600 employees. Corgan, an architecture and interior design firm, is designing the new office space. Jones Lang LaSalle assisted Conifer in finding the site.
COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS — Cleveland, Ohio-based ka architecutre has finished the construction of the one-level, 400,000-square-foot renovation at Post Oak Mall in College Station. CBL & Associates Properties Inc. is the mall's developer, as well as its owner and manager. The new design includes an updated food court, new entrances, new flooring and lighting throughout the mall concourses, improved signage and a new logo.
HOUSTON — Coldwell Banker Commercial United, Realtors has arranged the sale of a 5,814-square-foot shopping center located at 12703 Alief Clodine in Houston. Mark McGinley of Coldwell Banker represented the seller, a federal credit union, in the transaction. Mohammed Ladjevardian of United Real Estate represented the buyer.
COLORADO, SPRINGS, COLO., MARINA DEL REY, CALIF. – Target has purchased two cookware companies, one based in Colorado Springs and the other in Marina Del Rey, for undisclosed sums. Chefs Catalog is a direct-to-consumer specialty retailer of cookware, bake ware, cutlery, kitchen tools and cooking utensils. It maintains an online and retail outlet out of Colorado Springs. Cooking.com is based in Marina Del Rey and offers more than 60,000 cookware and kitchenware products, as well as recipe and menu collections. The two businesses will be combined to create a new, wholly owned subsidiary of Target. They will continue to operate under their current names.
LOS ANGELES – A $23.5-million acquisition loan has been issued to Stanford 1050 LLC for a 173,000-square-foot industrial building in Downtown Los Angeles. The building is located at 1050 Stanford Ave. The garment/manufacturing facility will be 60 percent owner-occupied, with the new owner utilizing the facility for warehouse and showroom space. The 20-year SBA 504 loan was provided by BFC SBA Lending.
GLENDALE, COLO. — 341-unit Solana Cherry Creek development in Glendale has received joint venture equity through an institutional investor. The funds will finance the Class A community's construction. It is scheduled for completion in 2016. Pat Burger, Josh Simon, Jordan Robbins and Husayn Hasan of HFF arranged the financing on behalf of MKS Residential LLC.
ORANGE, CALIF. — A new seven-story patient care tower has debuted at CHOC Children's Hospital in Orange. The 425,524-square-foot tower will open to the public later this month. It is located on the south side of the existing CHOC Children's hospital site. FKP Architects designed the new addition. McCarthy Building Cos. constructed the patient care tower.
